The morning was in full swing, the pure white angeni had made her way down from her mountain home to go and complete her tasks for the day. It was almost time for the harvest and for some reason, humans liked to see her before they collected it. They saw it as good fortune to see a angeni on such a day a blessing. Terentia knew she did not deserve the credit but she blessed the crops none the less.

She was walking, simply because her broken wing had not yet fully healed and even though flight on the other three was possible it was tiring. So she set off extra early. She would not complain though she was enjoying her walk and the morning air was doing her good. However this was her first time out on her own since the attack so she was a little quieter than usual. She would usually be chatting the ears off the little field animals however today she just smiled and nodded continuing on her way.

The cool breeze was stroking the grass, it was a little chilly but nice none the less. It was not a bright day the sun was not strong and clouds seemed to litter the sky. It was a change to the warm weather that summer had brought, the leaves had started to go orange. This was her second autumn, she was still very young. She was looking forward to it. She was almost at the village now and decided to go to the river to take a break.

Walking down the bank she but her nuzzle into the pure clean water and started to drink. She had been walking since the crack of dawn so this break was much needed. However she looked to be keeping good time. She would be there before dinner. The humans will be pleased, she was sure.

User Image"If we'r'not catchin' somethin', why the blazes are we out'n'about?"

"Easy - you can use the exercise, and I'm more than fine with some fresh air and a lil' work out of me own."

The black and blue ferret made a sputtering sigh, a sound of wilting defeat as whatever comeback he was about to use died on his tongue. Be it about her minor insult on his weight or her quick slip into his "less educated" tongue rather than that of her parents', she wasn't quite sure and honestly, didn't really care. It wasn't her fault he was too plump to fit into the small spaces he used to, nor was it her fault she liked the slang he used rather than the more prim way of speaking her dam and sire used.

Not that her mother was the "prim" type, but still.

Edana's steps were light as she made her way through the well-traveled forest, nose twitching now and then to the familiar scents that soothed her no matter what. Something about the lands she was born into, raised in... it was home, and despite any foul temper she might be in, or any trouble she might have unskillfully, shamefully, gotten herself into... home was still home. Her parents were still her parents, her sister her sister... even little nagging Kione had yet to leave her for all her moments of stupidity as a youngling.

And now she's grown from it, a silly little filly to a crafty young adult.

...a bored young adult.

The chilly breeze played through her hair, fire whipping in the winds. Kione shivered, crouching lower on her back to hide amongst her tangled locks before the next gust hit. "Y'couldn'a waited till th'weather warmed up? Even jus'a tad?" The mare shrugged her shoulders, pushing the ferret down further against her body to help alleviate the chattering of his pointy teeth.

User Image"We won't be out forever, just curl up if you don' wanna go for a run. I do." With that she loosened her shoulders and set off at a reasonable pace, clearing obstacles with little difficulty. The real challenge came with a quicker pace closer to the mountains, the rocks a nice way to both play a fun game of dare devil and risk shattering one's legs.

Down here? A piece of oh so familiar cake.

...well, minus the brightly lit equine standing at the river bank.

Edana came to a steady stop a good distance away, angling her body to give her a clear shot back into the forest should the newcomer prove to be foe. But her eyes darted around, her interest peaked despite herself. Wings? Not just one set either, many wings. The small frame sung of femininity, every inch elegance and power. But... what was she? Her sister was the overly smart one, not Edana herself. Maybe Ainn could even make sense of the weird markings on the cloth the other wore, though the fiery one's own mind told her the necklace she had was a nice little trinket.

...still had the problem of: What. Is. SHE?!

"...Boss... why did you stop? What did you do this time?! ....are we going to die?"

Terentia looked over her shoulder. It was said when a Angeni entered a area the sound of bells rang. However the constant twinkle in her ear did not make her death, she had good hearing as she was always told the importance of heightening your senses for battle. As well as the other uses they had. If you had the nose and the ears of a fox danger could never have the element of surprise. Something that Galahad had driven into her since she was a foal. She looked up the bank and saw the too speaking. With a small sparkle in her ear she slowly made her way up it her long fur stroking the ground as she did so.

"Aww that is so cute... I have never been so blessed be be gifted a animal companion. I have seen many walking around though."

She stated with a small smile. She had always wanted one but she did not think one would want to put up with her long trips and her busy work load. She was in love with the bigger animals and she had always dreamed of a buffalo by her side ever since she used to run with there herds when she was little. Her attention then went to the mare and she was forced to smile. A soft look to her black eyes. She did have eyes, it was not a empty space. They where orbs of onyx as black as night. Then it hit her even though she was no threat she needed to prove that to the other.

"I am sorry. My name is Terentia. I am the local priestess of these area's. It is nice to meet you."

Her kind voice spoke as she closed her eyes and tilted her head. Terentia was still young for a mare, she had only really just grown but she had already done most of her training, which was exceptional for such a young women, it took many weeks of meditation in her mountain home but she believed the spirits now trusted her. However it was against her nature to brag about such things.
