My Little Rant/Warning
Alright, yes, most of this will not be necessary, but I want to make everything clear before I begin anything else. Since this is a literate guild, I do not need to address that point. However, I do want to address that this is a serious RP. If you join and are accepted, I expect commitment. If you have reasons for absence or complete withdrawal, that is fine, but I want to know about it.
Secondly, I may be absent for certain periods of time, due to school and family. I will try to notify you if that happens. If you have to be absent for any period of time, just post an OOC post and that will be fine.
Now, on with the RP.

Storyline
The future. It is a great landscape to be painted by our minds, by the little cells that make up our brain and do their work to let us dream. Yes, the future. Consider, one possible future, far away, far from what we know.
Dreamscape. It is the future. Plug it in and you can do anything. Fly, walk on water, even breath in the depths of space. No charge, just a small chip inside your brain that is accessed by the Dreamscape network to process your requests, your desires. The daily hustle and bustle of life is all melted away by just implanting the chip and drifting off to sleep. All you do is sleep, no need to pay or renew services, or anything at all. Be at peace.
Then the mayhem begins.
The government looks for superior minds. Daytime can be tricky, everything is monitored, secure. There is no way to get where FBI or CIA need to go, no way for anyone to access everything. Except, the whole world is connected to Dreamscape. By secret negotiations, the Dreamscape supercomputers, several million of them, are handed over to the government. Decryption takes weeks, months to weed out only a handful of candidates, and tracking them becomes nearly impossible, getting lost within the matrix of Dreamscape.
After years of tedious work, the system is refined, able to search for those with the right qualities. Now the government can access anyone, have them find out anything, without even knowing what it is. They simply give a person's avatar a mission, find out the needed information, relay that information back to an agent's avatar, and let the person fall back into unmanipulated Dreamscape, never realizing what happened.
And we are all caught in the middle.

You are everyday folk, with quite wild imaginations. Whatver you dream, you dream strong enough that the goverment cares about you. Be it simple fluency in Japanese, expertise in martial arts, or an uncanny ability with women, the government needs you for some reason. They use your skills to access what they want, what they need. And soon, you will discover the pawns you have become.

2. Cursing is allowed, just not used more than necessary.
3. No God-moding. Yes, your avatar could be god-like in your character's mind. But, not in RP standards.
4. No Meta-gaming.

6. I will be posting GM (Game Master) posts to help the storyline along. Read them.

The Roleplay has begun one day ahead of schedule. You are free to post.Timeline Thursday, October 6th, 2456 AD -Noa (Damiascutlass) almost completed a jungle mission, was interupted by her cat, barely started a fantasy mermaid dream, woke up of her own accord, and is in the beginning of a medieval campaign. ((As is apparent, your avatar can have weapons not normal to the time period of the dream.)) She found out that the medieval campaign was a jousting tournament, but left quickly when a fangirl showed up. She moved into Calintz's dream, just because she figured no fangirls would come looking for her in a dojo. She has entered the dojo and is now watching the beginning of the fighting between Calintz and dojo members.
-Ezekiel (Laverne Terres) went to sleep after a tiring day, and found himself as the hero in a war. His team fought...and lost. He woke up and went back in, now in a race. He meets his older brother, Alexander, and wakes up again, angry.
-Nester (Dregnar) waited impatiently for the time when Dreamscape was active, and found himself in a wide open area, with rolling hills. He is currently running down a hill happily. He has accessed the dojo.
-Leo (Shjade) had a tiring day and accessed a peaceful dream in Dreamscape: something in the jungle with a waterfall. A man named Foster James Garland has showed up, needing Leo's help. (She seems to know him.) She is now in the dojo.
-Calintz (Chaos Sakura) accessed Dreamscape and is currently walking toward a dojo. He rushed into the dojo and demanded a challenge, even after rudely interrupting. The dojo master agreed to let him fight the members. He is just about to begin to fight. He fought several men, defeated them all with ease, and is now preparing to fight the master of the dojo. Calintz fought and defeated the master of the dojo and is now walking into the grassy field beyond the dojo.
-Chimera (DagdaIV), tired after a day of hard work, has accessed Dreamscape to begin his night work. He has accessed the dojo and is now inside, watching Calintz fight.
-Adara (Kjralon) has accesed Dreamscape in the hopes of a fight and has accessed the dojo.

Age: I'll go with... 27. Random, ne? YES.
Gender: Male.
Nationality: Hmm. He's from Ireland/Britain.
Job: Page at a library.
Brief Description: He's a short man, blond and with foggy-winter-sky gray eyes. Not over- or underweight, he tends to look perky, hyper, and vaguely interested in absolutely everything going on around him. He usually wears normal jeans and gray or blue [faded from wear] sweaters/shirts. He's on the less smart end of the spectrum, however, which explains his lack of promotion in careers. He's the type of person to present a hilarious idea for trouble and go through with more than half of them. And yes, there is some common sense somewhere.
Main emphasis in Dreamscape: Zeke would do anything to seem different, special, superior, while still being his strange, not-exactly-bright self.
Avatar Description: His avatar looks very similar to him, but somewhat taller and skinnier. His hair, instead of being oddly and awkwardly messy, is mussed in a more attractive just-asleep look, a darker blond, more a brown. The avatar's eyes shine. Rather smarter, too.
Avatar Special Fields: Not only does he have a pretty kick-a** smirk via Avatar Zeke, but he's pretty fast when it comes to running. Still a crap driver, though. He can figure out medium-hard codes and logic puzzle like things. He's stronger than his normal self. Most importantly, he can hold his breath for very long, but limited, lengths of time. This is the reason why they want him.
Avatar Personality: Much like his own. Easily distracted, but humorous in his own stupidity, and can self-doubt if put down enough.
Main Arsenal for Avatar: He doesn't know the name of most weapons, so he sticks with fists and feet. I wonder if bad insults, mispronounciations, and misspellings count, too.

Nationality: Born American, moved to New Zealand at age 18 and is now a citizen.
Job: DJ/Producer
Brief Description: Long brown hair, with light brown eyes. He stands about 5'11" and has slightly olive toned skin. He wears baggy pants and a t-shirt. Normally with a beanie on his head. He does shows in the city areas of New Zealand and around the world if he is called, but normally stays in his country raising his farm. He weighs about 150-160, dependent upon eating habits, but normally closer to 150.
Main emphasis in Dreamscape: Fighting, and training against anything he can find. Though he does have a few other reasons, the main one deals with fighting.
Avatar Description: Long white hair, with grey eyes. Stands at 6 feet even, and looks to weigh very little, though muscles are distinct. He wears a set of samurai type pants with some alterations to them. His shirt is altered as well from the normal long-sleeved shirt. He wears feathers that flow down his neck and are on the back of his shirt as well. ((A picture is presented in order to show a more accurate depiction of Calintz Zepher))Picture
Avatar Special Fields: Calintz is a fighter, and an exceptional one at that. He has never been defeated, even in his first spar. He trained for so long and so hard, that he became the best that he could. But more than his ability to kill, Calintz is desired because of his intelligence. Because fights are a strategy game and require quickness and calculations, he has become a genius in that field. For fun, Calintz has hacked databases, never leaving a trace. He has cracked codes that should be impossible. Which is another reason why his real life persona, Locke, is so adept at DJing. He's able to 'solve' the music and blend it together or make it sound better. Though he's an excellent fighter, Calintz is highly intelligent and has done many things to spark people's attention. Though it would have been very hard to trace his movements, maybe another reason it took so long to find a man like him.
Avatar Personality: Calintz, which is the same as his normal name simply with the last name Zepher, is one to think things through. He deliberates over many things, and considers ramifications. He fights many people, but not if it isn't necessary. Sparring, of course, is a different matter in that he won't be killing. Despite his lack of need to kill it would seem he has a fierce protection complex, feeling that he has to protect anyone that is involved with him. He has a strong sense of justice that is hard to waver.
Main Arsenal for Avatar: Special sword that focuses 'chi' or elemental power to pack more power into it. The focusing of chi is used in his hands and feet as well.
Text Color: Dark Blue ((And though this doesn't matter much, I find little to no reason for there to be a reduction in size or a color coding of people. That's just an opinion that doesn't really matter. Just wanted to put it out there really. ^_~))

Just wanted to put it out there really. ^_~)) ((Yes, it is only a matter of preference, but I believe it allows for more posts per page, and quick identification of the user who posted. Also, smaller font tends to make people type more. But, it doesn't matter. You joined this RP, and as such will follow the rules, so the point is, well, pointless.))
