My heart is closed up and I feel it crumbling down...
I like manga a little more than anime so I thought I'd make this first. X3
My favorite manga are Yuu Yuu Hakusho, Yuugiou, Fruits Basket, Rurouni Kenshin, Eerie Queerie, Yami no Matsuei, Gravitation, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, Uzumaki, Doubt, Goth, and Vampire Knight. =3

Yea, manga tends to get more deep with characters.
I guess my favorites would have to be Ouran, Saiyuki, Chobits, Full Moon and a couple of Yaoi one shots that I read.
I read about 1-5 of the YYH manga and it was super good! But I never finished. O_O; Same goes for Tsubasa and Death Note.
I actually found the death note anime better than the manga, b/c the manga is a bit TOO wordy during the second half (where Near comes in.) But maybe I'm bias against Near. >n>;
I haven't read teh FMA manga yet either but I really want to cause I heard it goes in a completely different direction than the anime, which sounds pretty interesting.
<_< ; I stopped reading VK when I got to the 'plot twist' of doom. Kinda grossed me out man. O_o;

@Akila: Yeah, that's what I like about it. ^-^ Also, I have more time to read manga than watch anime. XDD
No wai! =o I've read most of Yuu Yuu Hakusho, but lately I've been reading the original Japanese version so soon I'll be through with the whole thing. =3 I've read all of Death Note as well. I loved it. xD The wordiness didn't really bother me. =3 I highly suggest reading the rest of YYH, it's so awesome. XD One of my favorite manga series evar~!
Yeah, I've only read up to volume 5 or 6 with FMA, but I really like it so far. =3 I didn't get to see all of the anime though so I don't know what the differences are. ^-^;;
Oh, really? ._.;; I think I know what you're talking about, but at first, I was like, "... ._.;; Okay then." but I got over it 'cause I want to know what happens. D;
@Yuugi Muffin: Oh! I like Hellsing also, but I've only read up to volume 3. ^-^

After much debate - like 7 seconds - I guess I'm going to have to say my favorite manga(s) is Loveless and/or Chrono Crusade...for now. However I haven't read too many completed series (I think Chrono, Fruits Basket, Fake and Death Note are the only series I've read that are completed - and that I've read to completion).
I like FMA but I'm hesitant on where the manga is going (hopefully someplace better than the anime, I didn't hate that but idk). I was liking Host Club but again I don't know, we'll see (although conversely that's probably one of my favorite animes, went off in a diff direction obviously but for once I liked it). Gravitation confused me at first, annoyed me, slightly bored me, but then I got into it (after watching the anime which did all the same things at first - minus the confusion aspect). I now kind of like it, not love it, but it's silly and amusing. However I haven't finished THAT either, I'm about halfway through the last volume, not finishing it. I never do that, so it's kind of weird but oh well.
Vampire Knight has slightly annoyed me, Yuugioh was rather dry (the anime has way more personality) - though I'd still finish it if I ever found the rest online, and remember where exactly I stopped.
I guess this is long enough, I can't remember what else I've read, nothing that made a huge impression I guess, haha. As far as yaoi goes I pretty much love anything Dany&Dany - especially The Lily and the Rose *huggles*...my only annoyance is not everything they have is in English - or takes forever to be available in English. I suppose I'll just have to learn German and Italian. I wouldn't mind doing that anyhow, had I the time (and didn't have Latin and perfecting my Attic Greek and French higher up on the list of languages).
Hmm...I'm going to start getting onto tangents so I'll shut it for now.
*disappears*!!!

AUGH! Again, the curse of the spiral appears!!! I didn't know Harry Potter had been turned into a manga... confused
My favorites are the following:
1) Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles 2) Parasyte 3) xxxHolic 4) ZombiePowder 5) Claymore
I'll read almost anything that's on the shelves of libraries. I'm too poor to actually buy manga, you see. sweatdrop College, you know.

@JK: Muuuuh . I suppose I really should pick those up then! XO I really wanna read Chrono sumtime. Since I did, y'know, give it to you and all. Ehehhee. >3;
@ Hanna: Dooood. I didn't know HP was a manga either. O_o *has a shock* Scans plz? :3
@Irako: A CLAMP fan I see!! >3< Suhwet. I love their art, seriously. ;3; I read the start of Tsubasa but it was so long and I got too busy for it. I really wanna pick it back u though.
Annnd Claymore sounded really interesting, read a preview for it in Shonen Jump. BUUUT I have the same problem as you, being a poor college student.
Though I recently discovered reading manga online isn't that bad of all alternative. -nodnod-

I wish it was, tho'.. o_o That would be so cool. xD

Aw man Monkey person, I was so confused, HP manga?! That might be interesting or awful. Or both!
And Pick up what Akila-chan? Also considering how long you take to return things I'm not very inclined to lend you things anymore. You STILL haven't returned Joy Luck Club and you haven't even started Maus (and it bugs me that for awhile you forgot I'm the one who loaned that to you and thought it was Nicole's, uhhhhhhh I want my stuff back and do not want it given to Nicole or anybody else - this is why I am a**l and write down lists of what I lend out to who). Also I'm recalling everything I've lent out (and/or will lend out) when I leave the country. However I do think the scans are online so you could always find it there, having finally discovered the joy of scanalation. Speaking of which I need to reread it again, I've been meaning too but it makes me sad. I'm gunna watch the anime first then reread it again. However that won't be until October, I'm predicting a crazy Sept.

Hmm...I still haven't watched Chrono since I last posted here *fails*...I freaking bought the entire series half a year ago too!!
Also, I have finished Gravitation (the manga and the anime...just need to watch that OVA). I honestly can't remember what I thought. Which means that I probably didn't love it, but at least I didn't hate it. I always remember extremes.
@Yuma - so the top 5 has Gin Tama twice because it is really amazing or because that's two separate references? Also, never heard of that series, what's it about?
Also, FMA, have you seen Brotherhood, the new anime series? I saw the original 51 episodes and film, but haven't gotten around to seeing where this new adaption is going. I heard it was supposed to be following the manga better, but I'm not sure.
