~ATTENTION ARMY MEMBERS~
Are you a member of the Barton Army? Are you in desperate need off money? Do you have nothing better to do except to serve your guild and advertise its kickass-ocity to the other Bartonians of Gaia?
Then look no further! Thanks to the wisdom of the Higher Echelons, fictional Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Chairman of the Board for Barton Army Military Services Incorporated, Michelle the hot barista at the coffee shop across the street, and a few other non-sequitir and fictional nouns and pronouns, I am happy to announce that the Barton Army will be conducting a recruitment initiative for its members. It plays out like this:
An Army member creates a thread, PMs someone they know, attatches recruitment information to their sigs, or some other type of recruitment mechanism. Then, someone enters a join request. Simple, right?
WRONG!!!
As you may or may not know, we have quite a bit of difficulty finding literate, active members. However, now that we have readopted our more exclusive policies, at least the guild roster isn't as cluttered and guild activity has relatively increased, and the members that are allowed in fit in well with the other members.
For a recruit to be deemed acceptable, that means that they must be literate and you don't think they'll be a major pain in my a**. Just like everyone else, they'll submit an enlistment application, and I'll judge how good of a prospective member they are from there.
Why should you even go to this trouble, you may ask? Simple. Given how task-consuming this is and how selective the BA is, you will be well compensated for every successful recruit. For every recruit that you bring in, the Army will award you 20,000g.
That's right. One recruit. 20 grand. If it turns out that the recruit has to be cut from the program due to some unforseen circumstance such as inactivity or assholery, you will still keep that 20k. Non-taxable. No strings attatched. As an added incentive, the top recruiter for the month will receive a 5k bonus on their paycheck.
So what have you get to lose? Get going, soldiers! Recruit! Brainwash! Propagandize! For Barton!
