The mare was injured. Gliding back to the mountain on her three wings. She crashed into the snow like a fallen angel. Her one broken wing had soaked her side in blood. Her feathers were tattered and it seemed to be hanging off. Soon it began to drip onto the snow and puddle. It was a close escape from the demon.
She gritted her teeth after the rush of escape was over... the pain began to take over. Throbbing. It was the worst she had ever felt. Her head rested on the snow and her breathing began to rush. Her black orbs closed. Sleep... it was calling her and she felt herself drifting. The cold was making her wound sore. Soon she was numb...

There was in ominous silence in the snowy mountainside. The silence closed around the stallion and, for a moment, he didn't move. The air was cold, and unwelcoming. Jeremiel furrowed his brow, glancing over the empty scene before him. The once familiar snow and ice had seemed to shut him out. It seemed so foreign, now. Icy blue eyes ran over the pale snow for a comforting sight.
Such a thing could not be found.
The streaks and drops of crimson made his breath catch and his pulse quicken. His ears pinned and the stallion made his way, following the trail.
At the sight of the familiar wings tinged with the blue of the winter nights, the sparkling gold like the spring sun, Jeremiel's heart stopped. Countless emotions ran through his head. Images, memories, until there was nothing left, and he blindly ran towards her. "Terentia! Terentia! Wake up... Please, Teren. Wake up!"
Terentia was in dream land, having a nightmare about her attacker. His lantern's burning with the flames of hell itself and his black hair like the void and the abyss she tried to throw her down. In her mind she was still running until a voice, a light echoes through her world and made her slowly open her eyes. There was a blurred figure. Then it was as clear as day. Her knight..
"J-eremiel."
She whispered before she jolted her head into the air in a panic.
"Jeremiel run hes coming... hes coming..."
She spluttered, her voice was like a cry and she felt her throat swelling, she was scared. Shadows were making her jump. Even though there was nothing to fear anymore. Even though she was safe with her 'forbidden fruit.' Her mind was still on high alert.

Attacked? She was attacked? "Who? Who is coming?" Jeremiel's lip curled and he lowered his head so his face was close to hers. "Tell me, Teren. I will make them pay for this." He was silent for a few moments then, just watching her. His expression softened into a look of sorrow. "I will not leave you, Terentia. I will never leave you."
The stallion looked over her, examining. His eyes rested on her wing, broken and bleeding. His horn lowered to it. "Let me help you, Terentia. Please." Jeremiel was a knight. A savior. He had seen many in peril, many in danger, but never had his heart ached as it did now. To see her, Terentia, in so much pain, in so much fear... His body began to quiver ever so slightly. "Terentia..."
"No please. Do not. I was foolish I trusted him and feel into the trap. It was aweful Jeremiel please don't go there. It was dark and quiet and there were bodies. And a huge grave... he broke my wing so he could lay me to rest in it.. please don't go there. I am never going to the forest again!
She exclaimed with tears coming down her face. She did not want him to get hurt and even more so go through what she did. His wings where much more fragile. She was scared if he went he could never come back. She always hated that idea... she could not live without him.
Her eyes widened as she saw his head come to her, a small blush on her face as he started to begin the healing process. His skills had improved since foalhood... that was not so long ago.
"Promise me Jeremiel. Please stay with me tonight I dont want to be on my own."

Jeremiel's eyes fluttered shut as he healed her wing. His head turned so she wouldn't see the few stray tears falling to the snow. He wasn't as good a healer as a full-bred Uni would be, so it took some time for him to finish healing her wing. He frowned slightly, turning towards her once more as he finished.
"How could you fall for that!?" His voice raised slightly. "How could you let yourself get hurt! If something had happened to you I'd-" The stallion cut himself off and snapped his mouth shut, glancing away. "I'm sorry, Terentia. It's just..." His voice faded away as he fell silent again. "I couldn't live with myself if something had happened to you, Teren. I won't leave you side. I promise you. I will never leave you again, if that is what you wish... I-" He stopped himself again, gazing into her eyes, no longer speaking.
