Welcome one and all to Ride Upon A Shooting Star!
This role play was inspired mainly by thatguywithglasses's review on Disney baddies. Of course there was also the urge to do a relationship role play and that's where the arranged marriages come in. But before you click the back button, this isn't like all of the others because no one knows who is arranged to who! Not even me...yet.
So with that all out of the way I hope you enjoy your stay here and I shall be looking forward to your application! ^^

  December 5th has always been a magical day though many do not know that truth or why that truth is a truth. The truth of the matter is that this is the day that Walt Disney was born. This is the day when a magical man entered the world and brought stories of old into the dreams and wishes of many little girls across the world. Walt Disney taught girls that they all have a Prince Charming, that Wishing Upon A Star could grant the heart's deepest desires, and that your dreams are those exact desires. Well, this is the story of how sometimes stories don't always end as planned and sometimes those dreams turn into warped nightmares.
Summer is the time of love, birds, bees, and heat! What better to do than spend time with your friends and maybe even make a few new ones? But as friends gather and make plans some parents are making plans of their own. Sure, arranged marriages have always been a bit old style but sometimes things can't be avoided. Some were promised at birth, others were promised later, and a few even proposed when they were five! Okay, maybe a five year old isn't really all that intelligent and usually doesn't know what they are saying but when that child has an insane parent, everything is taken seriously.
But that isn't all! The best part is that no one has any idea about these little planned marriages between the insane adults and the children are going about with their normal lives. They plan to date certain people, stay away from others, and completely mock the rest! In their minds they have control over their fate and nothing could ruin their summer! Just wait until they hear the news...but for now everything is going fine.
{This will probably be edited and improved later on. For now, it's just the main point.
For those of you who will ask, you do not get to choose your partner! It shall be randomly done later on but for now just forget that it is even a part of this role play.}

To start off with, you all should know to follow Gaia's rules, so you need to keep everything PG-13 on the romance level. Cursing is fine but this does not mean you can go over board with it all. Keep everything proper for our younger members.

Romance is fine because who doesn't like conflict? There can be small fights, bashing [Between characters, not those who play them], and the like. But do not kill another person's character without prior arrangement.
Also, in lue of romance... Please keep this mostly heterosexual. I am sick of all of the Homosexual RPs floating around and I'm not a fan of the 'yaoi' fan girls. Sorry ladies, most guys in the world are straight. I am not against homosexuality or bisexuality, but if every boy is bisexual or homosexual, I am going to go insane, m'kay?

All characters are to be PM'd to me! When they are accepted I'll post them in the Character Thread.
There shall be no overly anything original characters. Original characters are all normal people. Just normal people. No animal ears, anthros, robots, nothing of that sort. They are all normal human beings and Real Life images.
You may have ONE character at this time.
All characters have some relation to their Disney counterpart and please stick to it. However, if you have an idea that would work better, PM me and we shall talk about it.

Your background check is your application so make sure to turn it in or you will be ignored.
All positions may be battled for! Up to three people may try out for any one position and I will choose which I like out of the three profiles.

This is a Literate role play! Meaning that you must have at least five paragraphs per post and in each paragraph at least six sentences!
Please do not make us read novels though, thank you. I love long posts but sometimes they are just boring and pointless.
Your posts should be designed! A picture and name are required but otherwise you may have your fun. Text shall be in black or a gray, speech shall be in Posting color one, thoughts in posting color two. Thoughts shall also be italicized and, if you wish, you may bold speech.

Since I am sure I have missed a few things here, I will be updating these rules when I think of something. New sections will be in navy for one week and then go to black like everything else. Also, highlight this entire post!
