Kaedrelath threw his head back and howled. Absolutely shrieked! The blue's eyes whirled rapidly, a frenzied mix of yellow and orange. << You're hurt! You're hurt! >> the blue yelled quite loudly to his rider, accompanying his words with another worried howl, no less loud. "Yes, I cut myself! Shards, Kae, I'm not going to die! Calm down!" M'zaji demanded of his dragon, holding a rag to the decently-sized gash along his forearm. "So much for those new straps you need," the bluerider grumbled and earned himself a trumpet of anger from Kaedrelath.
<< Who cares about the sharding straps?! You hurt yourself! You need a healer! >> the dragon insisted, trying vainly to squeeze himself into his rider's side of the weyr. His broad shoulders wouldn't fit through the opening; though, his head was far enough through that he could nose and nudge M'zaji. "I'm going! I'm going, shards, Kae- relax!" The bluerider hissed at his dragon. As if he didn't know it hurt! Cursing under his breath, the dragonrider made his way towards the stairs that would bring him to the bowl.. and was met with a wildly frantic trumpet from Kaedrelath. << NO! NO! The stairs aren't fast enough! You're losing blood! M'zaji, come with me! Not the stairs, anything but the staaaairs! >> Kaedrelath wailed, thrashing about the remove himself from the pass between weyr and weyr, leaving enough room for M'zaji to move through. "Alright, alright, I'll let you take me down- just, please, calm down. I don't want to fall off mid-glide," he muttered but mounted his dragon all the same.
After a rather worrisome glide from weyr ledge to bowl floor, the bluerider found himself entering the Infirmary. He had imagined it to be... well, busier. It didn't seem like there was really anyone about. M'zaji cleared his throat. << Well? Who's in there? Have you found a healer yet? Find someone! You're huuurt! >> Despite being told several times, Kaedrelath was not calming down. M'zaji cursed several times, muttering angrily. He was grateful that this part of the infirmary wasn't big enough for the blue. He had to wait outside.
"Uhh.. Hello? Anyone around?"

The shriek of another dragon woke Isonth, who was dozing as near the entrance to the Lower Caverns as she could, and she lifted her head, yellow eyes flashing with concern. As the other dragon, she was fairly certain he was not a higher colour or his feelings would have been greater, came closer, she was able to get a visual on him. His name escaped her, but not for lack of trying, and she gave a noisy bugle in an attempt to drown out his own sound, rising to her feet and approaching him. Ahoy! she called out, sending a wash of soothing feelings. What happened? she asked immediately. You are all right, you will be all right. Lanamine, there is a troubled dragon. Do you have His?
La, who had been reading in the doorway to the herb storage room, looked up at the sound of another's voice, and she stood immediately, setting the skin she was studying aside and glancing about instinctively for Cordel. He...wasn't there. She had forgotten. "Ho there," she answered quietly, striding up to the rider and giving him a quick once-over. "What've you managed here?" she asked. There was blood, that much was clear, and shardit, what had he done to his arm?
"How did you manage this?" she kept up a mild low grade scolding in her tone even as she held a hand out impatiently. "Let's see this."
Bleeding...numbweed immediately, then witch-hazel and yarrow...she'd need to clean it....
"Redwort. I need redwort and numbweed," she barked to the Candidate who had been rolling bandages, sending her scurrying to a cabinet. That taken care of, her gaze returned to M'zaji.
"Were you throwing knives?" She raised an eyebrow and gave the bluerider a significant look Cordel would have been proud of.
