I decided I'm going to quest for every donation item possible, starting with the Nitemare Scarf and making my way down (skipping all of 2005, some of 2004, and probably many of the items in between the scarf and them). Also gonna get the Kong Sang Scarf first, before anything else.

I have no idea how to make gold though. The poll thing looks like it fell through (no more 10g apiece?) aaand whatever the hell my other character is has all my extra valuable sellable items.

So how do people quest nowadays?

Just found Booty Grab 'bout an hour ago, got about 1k total from two games now. Pretty much just go back and forth. >.>

Evolving items... confuse me. A lot. I did just buy two of them though (the two that are 50 cents each in the stores, the mouse and the shirt). Please try to explain them to me better than Google did.

Evolving items 'evolve' or change into a new set of items every two to three weeks (on Fridays). Once an item evolves, the next 'generation' comes out in the cash shop - exactly the same but one evolution behind the previous one. Once an evolving item reaches its final stage, all the previous items are unlocked.

Aside from their cash price, the artist behind an EI is often a determining factor in their success, due to high expectations, etc. For example, pepper-tea (picolitrosso's urn, biancamella, reve rouille) and ethe (gogh reed) are very popular. First generation items will almost always be more expensive than later generations, but of course they hold the most risk because you don't know if it will turn into anything good.
