Welcome to the Cosmos Breeze Pokémon Tournament! This tournament will be the closing event of the Summer Clash. This tournament will go by a point system for the preliminaries and then move on to traditional Brackets. This is also an All-tier tournament; however, the basic clauses will not be forgotten. With that said, lets get on with the rules. Tournament Rules:Pokémon from all tiers are allowed. Meaning all legendaries are allowed with the exception of Arceus. The use of Arceus is banned from the tournament. Reasons being A) events have not been widely released in North America which means it is inaccessible to many trainers and B) it is the highest class of Pokémon even among legendaries. Hacked Pokémon are banned! The usage of hacked Pokémon will not be tolerated. If you are suspected of using hacked, unlegit Pokémon you will be removed from this tournament. No questions asked. Preliminary Rules:Each trainer starts off with 3 Battle Points and are allowed to challenge anyone at anytime as long as they follow the rules. Both trainers will agree upon a point wager for the match. The points wagered are limited by how much each trainer has. The winner of the match gains the amount wagered while the victim loses the amount wagered. Example: Trainer A has 4 BP and Trainer B has 3 BP. The wager for the match is 2 BP. Trainer B wins the match. Trainer B gains 2 points making his total 5 BP while Trainer A loses points making their total 2 BP. Once a trainer gains 8 BP they are able to move on to the next round. However, if a trainer’s points drop to 0 their name is added to the Lozer’s Box. To get back into the tournament a trainer must defeat someone who is also in the Lozer’s Box. The victor will be added back into the tournament with 2 BP while the loser gets knocked out of the tournament completely. Main Event Rules:The Main Event will be a traditional Bracket style tournament. Each match will be best two out-of three (2/3) and will have a time limit of 1 week. Those who fail to complete their match by the deadline will be disqualified. Ubers are not allowed! Once the preliminaries are over, the use of ubers will be outlawed for the remainder of the tournament. Sign-ups for the tournament will begin on August 23rd and last until the end of the Preliminaries around September 15th.

Clauses in Effect:
Self KO Clause: Your Pokémon cannot use moves like Explosion or Self-Destruct to win if it's the only Pokémon remaining on your team. The same applies for Perish Song and Destiny Bond.
Sleep Clause: The sleep clause means that you cannot put 2 enemy Pokémon to sleep at the same time. Please note, that Pokémon who have induced their own sleep, commonly through using Rest, then that does not count towards the clause.
Evasion Clause: This clause means you cannot use evasion increasing moves like Double Team and Minimize. However, Evasion boosting effects such as Sand Veil are allowed.
Species Clause: This clause means you can't have more than 1 of the same Pokémon or any of the same evolutionary chain on your team.
OHKO Clause: Moves like Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill and Sheer Cold are banned from use as the only surefire counter to OHKO moves is to have a focus sash/focus band, an ability that prevents them, or to not get hit by them.
Hax Item Clause: This clause prohibits the use of “Luck Items” such as Brightpower, King’s Rock, and Razor Claw.

Erm, I hacked to get my pokemon, because I didn't want a traded/bred Charmander and Aron, so does this count as hacked? (They both have legit stats)

(They both have legit stats) Using a hacking device to obtain a pokemon is concidering hacking. It has to be legitimently caught and raised in the game itself without the aid of an outside device.
