Nataku slipped over the large rock with ease considering his large size and weight, the ground shuddering beneath him as he landed with a heavy thud. The rex growled the noise transitioning into a large toothy yawn. He felt sun burnt, if a reptile could get such things as sun burns, his scales overly warm from having fallen asleep while laying on the rocks all day. He was lazy, he'd admit it, lazy enough to lie there and ignore the burning rocks and itchy ground until it had gotten far to hot even for him.
Small golden eyes scanning the horizon, grinning sharply as he spotted a large pond. The lazy giant took off in a slow trot, slipping into the pond with a large splash, only breaking his stride when he found a part of the water deep enough to come up near his neck. He was glad the thing was shallow, as he wasn't much of a swimmer.

 Fae lay dozing just a bit from the waters edge if you didn't stare long enough she might have been mistaken for a part of the lake, or even a rock near it, she was curled up in a ball. However her head whipped up as a thundering sound reached her ears then a sudden wall of water engulfed her sending her spinning through the once dry shore that was now a mud pit. Digging her claws of her feet in she balanced enough to get her footing growling she turned back to the water and the male that rested in it.

Nataku caught the angry golden glare aimed in his direction and laughed, nearly choking on some of the pond as he climbed up to an even more shallow area, giving the blue and white female a cheeky grin. "Sorry! Hahaha..you blended in so well, I didnt quite see you there. Maybe I wouldn't have jumped if I'd known...Then again it is only a little water! No reason to look so mad at me" the male huffed, large tail coming up in an arc and splashing back down making another little wave.
The blue and white female did look hilarious though, dripping in bits of mud and water, he couldnt help himself from laughing, it was his fault true, but it was funny enough that it was worth it to see her like that.

"I'm used to the water." Shaking off a bit like a dog she stood up, "its not the water that bugs me its the fact that it was unexpected." She snorted then looked him over more now that more of him was out of the water. Shaking the mud off she took a few steps in his direction.
"I wasn't sun bathing so I'll let you off easy with this one. However..." with out warning she jumped landing full force in the water causing a massive tidal wave that engulfed the male. "I don't see it fair to not do that!" grinning a bit she stood in the shallows her tail swinging behind her.

"Ah well I'm glad I didnt interupt anything at least" he shrugged with his stubby arms and massive shoulders. Nataku gaped when the female moved to jump, eyes wide a moment before squeezing shut tightly. Engulfed in the giant wave as it rode over him, nataku coughed and spluttered, shaking his head furiously to try and clear the water from it.
"Oh, oh so that's how you want to play!" it was only fair of course, haha he deserved to be splashed after how wet he'd gotten her...still. Growling playfully as he watched her head surface from the water, splasing gently back at the big blue female. He hardly knew her name, but he found her quite fun..

Snorting she tried to move out of the way of the little wave but managed nothing other then tripping over something at the bottom and submerging again. Surfacing a bit farther away she snorted water out her nostrils and blinked a few times.
"Ive enough of this water." She didn't mind the water but she was a rex not a fish. Wading to the edge she trotted out looking back at the male.
"My name is Fae what is yours?" Shaking the droplets of water off that littered her hide she looked back, at least there were no more mud spots.

Nataku snorted, eying the female as she slipped from the pond, she certainly wasn't ugly, maybe a bit more then pretty even.."Nataku's my name, its nice ta meet'cha fae. Heh I honestly didn't expect to stumble upon anyone today. I was coming out here to get out of the heat for a bit, nearly fried myself out on the rocks" nataku smirked, climbing up the bank and shaking the water off his scaly hide, the shivers following his whole body down to the tip of his tail, flicking the droplets in all directions.
"I didn't know there were any pretty rexes about, or I may have come by sooner" it was a gentle tease, he was in a good mood today, it might prove fun to get to know the female a bit. Some took to flattery, others outright rejected it.

She couldn't help but blush a bit at his pretty rex statement tho she didnt think she was better then most. However she returned his grin "well I didn't expect a dashing male to splash his way near my resting spot tho." She looked him up and down.
"It was a nice way to be woken up with a bath." She stretched out a bit then walked closer to his direction.

"Oh, sweet and coy aren't we? I have to say I don't usually get too many compliments!" holding his head high and grinning, natsu puffed his chest out a bit as if trying to appear larger. His ego gratefully stroked by the cute blue female. "I'm glad I woke you up then, haha maybe I should go running into ponds more often, though I doubt I'd find a catch like you" the male giggled, shaking his head at the sillyness of his own comment..gah..that was lame even for him, water puns.
"Ah..but anyways, I did interrupt your nap in a way. Maybe I could make it up to you hmm? Do you feel like goat" his tail swishing languidly, tilting his head to the side in curiosity. Hunting was always fun after all..

She snickered at least the male was trying, reaching his side she nodded. "making it up you say, how good are you with hunting." Suddenly she wondered given his current standard she wasn't to sure if the male was any good at hunting. But he was rather striking, even if he did look silly all puffed up as he was.
Walking forward she caused her tail to lightly hit him as she went by, "come mighty hunter im hungry."

"Oh I'm alright if I do say so myself!" he wasnt sure really, he'd never considered how good or bad he was at hunting..he managed to catch enough for himself..and five times out of ten he managed to catch something good!..oh dear...Natsu shivered sharply as her tail brushed his side, chuckling and following her lead with a dopey grin plastered across his face.
"Of course my lady! This strong brave hunter is at your service" grinning and bowing his head slightly, nearly tripping over his own feet as he did..gaah..must focus..must multi task..

Snickering again she watched him out of the corner of her eye. "well that is good mighty hunter." She was starting to enjoy him, maybe a bit to much for her own good.
It was only a bit that there started to be a smell in the air, guessing from the musk it was deer, larger and faster however they were tasty. Already her mouth watered some, looking back she grinned. "well now is your chance."

Natsu smirked, pridefully stepping forwards "Mighty hunter shall fetch you something juicy! Haha, just you wait and see fae my dear, you'll be dining on meat in mere minutes" alright so he was boasting..bragging a bit, but what good male didnt when his pride and a pretty lady were on the line! Surely he could manage to catch some mangy deer...at least...he hoped. Usually the slower animals were easier...
Crouching down though he knew he looked rather silly, trying to take smaller less large and loud steps as he stalked closer to the creature..deers were skittish..deers were hard to catch..Oh he hoped he would catch it. Managing to spot the creature fae had smelled out, only seeing the deer so well because of his height, had he been lower to the ground he wouldn't have been able to discern the brown fur from the green brush or the dark tall trees... he stepped closer, inch by inch, head low and mouth slightly hanging open.
The crackle of twigs and leaves snapping and being crushed beneath his large feet startled the creature and sent it bolting, natsu lumbering after the deer a heart beat later. Determined, that even if he wouldnt catch the damn thing, he would at least enjoy chasing after it!

Fae started laughing she couldnt help it, watching this male was proving to be much more fun then she had imagined. He was a spirited beast that was for sure. Trotting after she angled a bit hoping to spoke the animal maybe back towards him rather then away.
How ever the chase was proving more fun then even the meal was. However it also gave her time to watch him freely and was more focused on him then the meal.

Natsu's grin turned a tad evil as he watched the deer, the poor frightened creature seemingly spooked from a new angle. Grinning and letting out a loud long roar, the nearly playful sound ending in a low growl. Watching with amusement as the deer frantically stumbled and darted off to the far right, he smiled and twisted with it, swiftly sidestepping a tree that had nearly caught him in the face, he had to remind himself to keep his head low here. Out of reach of those evil low hanging branches..nasty things..honestly who wanted pine needles and leaves stuffed up their nose!
So focused on his meal, catching the deer to impress his lovely fae that he failed to notice her following off on her own path. So excited and entranced with the feeling of the hunt, rexes did contrary to popular believe enjoy running. Big and slow as they may be they werent exactly snails when it came to a chase..
