Which of the choices above is your favorite expansion block for Magic? And why is it your favorite? Note that I'm NOT asking you what you think the "best" block is... only which one is your personal favorite. I feel that asking for which one is "best" is pointless because "best" is subjective and each person's opinions as to what is "best" may vary. Also, I realize that the Kamigawa block has not yet been released in full, but I feel it's worth including anyway, with Betrayers right around the corner and all...

This one is hard for me to pick, because I loved so many of the blocks here.
However, pound for pound, I will say that the Invasion block was my favorite. Armadillo Cloak, Terminate, Vindicate, Absorb, Gatling creatures, etc. were all things that I loved to death. Also, who can forget the Flametongue Kavu? heart

Hachigoro in comparison to cards like masticore, tolarian academy, windfall, treetop village and rancor, I would forget about flametongue kavu. Urza block, all the way. As good as they are too, the Kavu is great because he has synergy with effects like Sneak Attack and black recursion.

I started in Mirriodon, so I have little experience outside of Onslaught, which I didn't really like. The only thing I really like about CHK is the very oriental feel, the art, and the drafting, everything else is crap, but BoK seems okay right now, could change, havn't seen to much.

I love Mirrodin and hate it at the same time. I love it because I loved artifacts in the past and still do. I hate it because it made completely artifact decks not so common anymore...
My second favorite would be Tempest, since my favorite deck is 90% Tempest cards, and it had some awesome aspects in it.
Urza Block comes in the not-so-distant third, since I happen to be a huge fan of quite a few of the cards and the story aspect as well.

Eh... I'm partial to Urza's block and the first block (Alpha/Beta, Arabian Nights, Legends)...
For long games and biggie titan critters... I'd have to go with the very first block of magic... for just plain taking advantage and spanking everyone, I'd have to go with Urza's.

so hard to decide, on one hand Ice Age is one of the best magic blocks ever, on the other hand, though, Onslaught is where i started, i love all the creatures.
must choose one...
