You Are My Gift
Such contentment comes over me
When I think of his sweet smile,
Eyes like the rain looking upon me with love,
Arms wrapped tight holding me close...
I am completely lost in those memories of him
Being so tender and gentle,
Making me feel entirely at ease,
Falling asleep with a sense of peace...
I am so thankful to have him
Keeping me sane when I feel all is lost,
Loving me despite my crazy self,
Wanting with all he has to make me his forever.
