That happened to me indirectly this summer. A bunch of things that happened that had nothing to do with me, but somehow I got pulled into it. It was crazy. But I know what you mean. neutral

Choosing not to do anything in particular is still a choice. There are too many things beyond our control that inevitably change, for better or worse. Small consolation, I know.

It wasn't so much a "choosing not to do anything" issue as an "unexpected calls from an ex" type of thing.
