How do you beat the Ice guy in Metroid Prime 3? surprised I hit him and hit him and like... his life doesn't go down! I've been stuck on this... loser... for ever! I took like... honestly, a long time to figure out how to get to the Federation ship, I mean hours! I went into this pit and oh my god I couldn't get out without the grapple hang power and jesus I turned the game off and I'm like... that's not fair! So I thought about it and thought about it and... like... I'm like this game is way too high end to leave you stuck in a pit. THE POWER HAS TO BE IN THAT PIT! MEHEHE! So I go down into the pit again, and go down a little passage thing, and lone behole there was this weird rock, so I made Samus go into a morph ball and I was like... how do I blow up this rock? Well, it turned out to be I had to spark bomb the thing and then go down the morph ball tunnel and there was this enemy there and it sucked me up into it's mouth and I was like oh my god that's scary as hell he's eating meeee... so I spark bombed his face and then I got out of the morph ball tunnel and there was this door, and it wouldn't open so I was like, how in the hell? So I scanned it and it said a strong missle could blast the lock on the door... so I'm like... what if I charge up my beam missle and fire that? So I did, and it didn't work, so then I'm like... why don't I use that rocket launcher thing? So I did and it opened! So I got this grappling hook thing so I can swing from grapple points! It was sweet. And that's how hard it was to get on the federation ship to get the the ice guy. And now I'm stuck and I can't beat him.

I haven't really beaten a lot of videogames.
Played them, but never to completion.

I suggest looking at a guide online? Sometimes there are tips for just regular gameplay, and strategy for beating bosses. Sometimes game forums are helpful, too. 'Cause you're probably not the only person who found it difficult.
