when: after the cyoa challenge
where: in an unspecified place in camp
who: ozzie and chris
*sigh.* while ozzie was glad that his new friend belbel was now found, he still was heartachingly lonely. especially after this last challenge, what he needed now most of all was steggy, his stuffed stegosaurus and his dearest friend. and after almost two weeks on the island with plenty of alone time to think, he came up with a plan.
first he stopped by the tent where the crossword challenge was held. as luck would have it, there were many sheets of paper left scattered around, as well as some spare crayons. he knew that back home, often times people would put up flyers for missing pets. he figured that might help him on his search and would let the other campers know to keep on the lookout for him. so ozzie sat down and doodled up as many flyers as he found papers.
next came the part he wasn't looking forward to. while he had come to gain a certain amount of disgust for the host, he knew that he had to get permission to post them up, or risk punishment (or at the very least, so they wouldn't all get torn down). he sighed another big sigh, tucked the flyers in his pack, then headed off to look for chris.

after a bit of searching, ozzie happened upon chris. he gulped, then approached him.
"uh, ch-chris? um....i du-dunno if you remember from way back at the beginning when we were all up on the cliff, but i accidentally lost my best friend in the whole world over the cliff 'n i really really really miss him lots 'n i wanted to go look for him 'n i figured the best way to get others to help me was to post up flyers 'n i just wanted to see if that would be alright with you?" he nervously reached up into his pack and pulled out one of the flyers to show to chris.

 Out of his cop uniform (thankfully), Chris had made sure his own bestest best friend in the entire world was safely hidden away before going on rounds throughout the camp.
Good thing too, because he didn't get very far before being found by a camper. Ugh, WHAT NOW. You'd think after that challenge of -doom- they'd just leave him alone...
"What dude?"
Chris had interrupted merely at the 'uh ch-chris?', but did let the camper get out the rest of his question. An irritated look slowly (SLOOOWLY) melted into a more....god was that -concern-? Nahh...couldn't be....
The host snatched the paper, looking it over in silence. Whether he was thinking or just remaining silent to freak out Ozzie was anyone's guess. Buuut eventually he -did- speak up again.
"Reward? Hrmph, what kind of reward could a camper have..."
That look was still there, but Chris shoved it (and the paper) aside to get some degree of his typical smirk back on his face.
"Sure, why not. Though I hope you find him before any interns do dude..hehehehe!"

ozzie watched chris as he read the flyer, nervously waiting for his reaction. he flinched at the mention of the reward. "we-well, i don't have anything like money. but, i was thinkin'...maybe some spare pair of clean socks 'n one of my pokeballs? i-it's just a toy but it's the best thing i have here. i...i wanted to put that 'cuz i know that it works a lot better for missing signs if you offer a reward cuz otherwise people may not wanna look for whoever's lost."
his spirits raised greatly when chris gave him the go ahead. he could finally start the search for his best friend! he gave an excited little yelp, and before he could think to stop himself he was hugging chris right around his midsection. "th-thank you so much!" he started to tear up, but for the first time since he woke up on the island, they were tears of happiness.

Chris had opened his mouth to comment on the puny reward, but all that came out was a startled yelp as Ozzie latched on in a hug. The host went stiff, fur bristling just slightly.
...Now don't get him wrong. He could be downright cuddly when he wanted to be. But that was with a certain other Audio. That -wasn't- Ozzie. This was just WRONG dude!
"...Look, I know I'm so awesome -no one- can keep their paws off me..."
Chris started, a bit of a growl edging it's way into his voice.
"but dude....are you quite finished?"

 ozzie let go and sat back, blushing a very deep red. "o-oh, 'm so sorry, i was just so excited cuz i really really really really miss him 'n this'll help me to find him a lot faster, i think!" he turned tail and headed for camp as quickly as his teal paws would take him.

....He would -never- understand these camper dudes man. Never. ever. EVEEEEER understand them.
"Whaaaaatever."
Chris dismissed him with a paw...not that he wasn't already -gone- but still, it made him feel important! Hrmph! Camper taken care of, the host turned and made his own way back to camp.((GO OZZIE. FIND YOUR FRIEND! =D ))
