Holy water is blessed by a Catholic priest. You can get some at most Catholic churches.

different Faiths and religions also have Holy Water. it was origionlly Pagan i think, or maybe even Shamanic... the Catholics do take alot of things from Paganism... tis part of why they branched off from the Orthodox Church. that and the Pope thing of course. (Orthodox Christians don't acknowledge the Pope.)

considering that according to a church heiarchy, only ordained bishops or such have the divine "authority" to bless holy water? yeah, it pretty much is a bunch of BS... >.> anyone who has real Faith can bless water.

I'd say only Allah can bless water :> Well, you see exactly. Everyone thinks their own God can bless water. So, you can't really blame them for believing such...

Oh no, of course not, and I wouldn't ^-^ I was just saying that I personally think it would be a deity, rather than a person, who does the blessing But of course there are other views =)

i for one do think that a human (or even an animal) can do all the magical or divine things that any god can.

And what then, is the distinction between animals and humans and a god, in that case? well, some of it is nothing more than understanding a basic level of willpower. all energy i smanipulated by everyone and everything, be it consiously or subconsiously. there are som ethings though that require a level of understanding that admittedly even i don't have yet. basically, enlghtenment beyond one's own mortality. a friend and i are researching ascention to godhood. we have found an awefull lot of evidence that many pagan gods were once human (or Sidhe, or others), and also the Wiccan Goddess.

I see, that is a fascinating thought =) Though do you think you could clarify the kind of energy you speak of? I have to admit I have very very little knowledge of pagan religions and Wicca, but would it then be possible for a human (or an animal?) with enough willpower and understanding, to create a universe? Actually, do you believe the universe was created? I hope you don't mind the question bombardment ^^;;

Actually, do you believe the universe was created? I hope you don't mind the question bombardment ^^;; one theory is that ALL gods were once mortal, though i personally feel iffy about that... i can't wrap my head around the seeming paradox that is Jehova... Allah to you muslims. and the arrogant (in my opinion) "God" to christians. what a name, just "God". rolleyes anywho, my point being he had to exist primordally to create the cosmos. though at the same time that makes him infinite, which is a concept that just goes right over my head. xp i believe he exists, but i just can't comprehend it. ya know? as for the universe (actually multiverse) being created, i don't believe in Creationism, but i do believe that something created the God Particle, which is a theoretical superatom. as for energy, all things are energy. simply put. it's just energy. what changes what kind it is is Will. i would suggest you watch a movie called the Secret, and two others. What the Bleep Do We Know, and What The Bleep: Down The Rabbit Hole.
