I understand that everyone has a life outside of Gaia. I myself actually have a life, hard to believe as that is.
I'm not always on, but I check up on this guild at least four times a week, if not every single day. Since very little posting is done, it's very easy to check up on.
I need to know who is going to continue to be active in this guild and who intends to be active in the future. I don't expect every person to post every single day. I should at least expect one post every day at a minimum. Not from everyone. Just from anyone. One person out of all of the members should post at least once for the day so the guild isn't completely dead. By post, I mean respond in one of the role play threads.
Honestly, I don't think something like that is too much to ask, nor is it too much to do. I would like for everyone who actively participates to post at least every two to three days at the least. If they cannot post because they're waiting for the person they're roleplaying with to post, I completely understand. If someone is waiting on them though, I would like for them to respond as soon as they can.
Like I said, I know life gets in the way. I also know that just because you joined you are not obligated to post every day. However, this is a roleplaying guild. You joined because you wanted to join this roleplay. So maybe one of the responsibilities for joining is that you do indeed have to post and interact with people in the roleplay.
I know that this is a really long thing to read, by the way. As proof that you have read at least this far, please put the word "pizza" somewhere in your response.
I believe I've been very lenient about this. I've been getting PMs from other members of the guild about the lack of posting though, so I'm trying to do something about this. Every member should have received one of two PMs. One PM for the "Active Guild Members" (those of you who have posted either in the RP threads or the OOC threads) and one PM for the "Non-Active Guild Members" (those who have not posted and have not PM'd me about posting).
It took me an hour to send all of those out because so many members are not on my friend's list. I think I'm working relatively hard on trying to communicate with my members and get things going.
If you intend to work with me on making this guild run smoother, then please post here, telling me that you read all of this and that you read the PM I sent. Posting here means that you intend to start being an active member of the guild.
Now that you've read all that, please add the word "party" to your post, along with the other word I've asked.
I can't believe I had to resort to secret words in order to know that someone read all the way through my rant....

I've read your PM and I've read this as well. And... "pizza party"? That's a likely word combo from you, I suppose.
I apologise once more for my absence after turning in my profile. I know that the only reason I joined up on this site was to keep in contact with you and a few others, but I've gotten distracted by other fun features here.
I'll do my best to start role playing in the near future and I hope others will as well.

I got your pm and I feel really guilty. I wish I had an excuse like "my dog got put down and is currently joining the pizza party in the sky," but I don't. I've just been really lazy and the pm helped by giving me a swift kick in the tuckus. I fully intend on posting more and even getting my profile to you a.s.a.p.

Hey, Cap'n. I'm waiting on posts in Sundosia. I went out yesterday to eat pizza and in fact last night I was drafting people for my bowling team with people I remember are bowlers since I was a kid, and it was somewhat of a party.
I'm debating making a second character to 'put' somewhere to increase the roleplay seen in the unused sections. Do you think that's a good idea?

I have yet to post but I am well on my way to getting there! I just have to finish up my profile and whatnot.
Oh, and I just received a very nice gift called a "virus" and therefore I won't be on the computer as often until I get better. :/ I wish I could have some pizza but I know soup would be better for me at this point. I know I'm gonna have one hell of a party trying to get better.
Excuses aside, I will definitely be more active in the future. ^^

Phoenix - Yeah, I know. You people should expect these things from me if you talk to me enough. Thanks though, man.
Yuki - Don't feel guilty! You weren't the only one. Sorry to hear about your dog though. I know she was old and suffering, but at least she's having her fill of pizza.
Neo - Thanks a lot dude, you've actually been a really big help (along with a few others). That'd be cool, it's always good to have an extra character in case you get stuck waiting on someone.
sardonic - Damn! Sorry to hear about that virus. I've dealt with the evil monsters before and well... that usually doesn't turn out too well. I hope your computer gets better soon!
Gemini - It's chill dude, I know that you read everything. Also, I didn't tell people to reply here because when I sent the PM's out "here" didn't exist. This was done as an extra "just in case" sort of thing.
Okay everyone, I am so glad I chose those specific words! I know they're easy to work with, but all of the responses I'm getting back from you guys are pretty damn entertaining! I can't wait to see future responses.

You're code words made me curious if this was actually just a code invitation to a pizza party... If this was and I totally missed it because I didn't read it in time... I'll march up to your house with pizza and we'll have our own pizza party damn it!!!

The problem is, I think I may be to busy at a party to actually be wholly active here. I'd love to stay and do as much as I can, but sometimes I really do get too caught up in things. >.< If I get the time though, I hope you'll allow me to come and rp here with you all. heart

I'm still around. Read all the PMs and posts and all that. Like Neo, I've been waiting for people to post to the thread that I'm in. I've already got a second character approved that I can bring in to move the story if I need to.

I could play along with this. I'm only indulging you, of course, when I say that maybe I was at a party the other night. Maybe at that party I had a slice or two of pizza and I later left. It was only a coincident that one or two people who had been there that night have gone missing ever since.
This is all hypothetical, of course. I don't go to pizza parties. ninja
Regardless, I've read everything and I'll see if I can come up with anything.

I find this very reasonable.
Though I have not received a PM, I do intend to becoming active in the future. Just trying to get settled in with the background and everything. But once I have all of that down I do plan on jumping in.
Then we can get this party started! I'll bring the pizza! ^^
