Over the past year.. I have had something that has seriously been messing with me. Mostly this went on during the time I was staying at my mom's house. My first thought was that my mom's place is just really, really haunted considering all that's happened there. But, I believe there could be more than just those spirits. One thing that got to me was the ihuman screams I would hear... and would be like right next to me but at the same time sound somewhat distant. Another weird thing... would be one time where I was standing in my bathroom. I stood there and my shower was infront of me... and my head hurt. I closed my eyes for a few seconds, to help it a little... and the instant I did close my eyes I saw a smokey gray thing coming straight at me in pure blackness, the same time I heard the a scream that I described before. This is odd; I have to really be thinking about something before I can make images appear when I have my eyes closed.. and it is never instant.
Another thing that makes me wonder... is the dreams I've had recently. I'm going to try not to make the description long.. I know everyone dosen't want to read something that's too long..xD
The first dream, though. occured while I was staying with my grandparents at their house a month ago. The main part of it is.. there was a demon that appeared in the form of a eyeless girl outside at the closet building to my grandparents' house. The demon was waiting on me or something. I woke up at exactly 3am right after having this dream.
The second.. wasen't long ago. I'm living in a new house now... and like a week ago I had a dream.. that this trailer I'm living in sat right in the middle of a graveyard.
The third dream wasen't short like the first two, nor was it nearly as detailed... which any dreams I have aren't.. just the two I mentioned before, which makes things even weirder. The third dream took place at a place that is suposively really haunted that I lived at when I was like 4-7 years old. I dreamed I was being posessed by a demon, and noone could help me, nor did they try. There was a point where I looked down at my arm ... and the flesh was rotting off it. >.>;
The last two dreams I had in my new house I'm living in. I find this place really odd for that reason... this house is like a dream magnet, only for bad dreams though. There isn't a person who has stayed here that hasen't had their share of nightmares. My mom herself kept repeatedly having nightmares about my dad who just died... she even took a pillow that they use to "fight" over and gave it to my dad's friend.. because she thought it was the pillow doing it. Nevertheless.. her nigthmares continued until she moved.
The dreams I'm having about demons.... I find odd. Usually in some places with negative energy around.. my mom is the one who will usually have the dreams about demons being there. She swears up and down that my grandparents' house is evil in some way. She had a nightmare there,too, where she was possesed.. and trying to get down stairs to get out of the house... only she was stuck to the ceiling.
I hardly know anything about demons... I just know I want absolutly nothing to do with them. Spirits I can handle.. demons I cannot. Something's falling me around... I just wonder what it is. x.x;

So actually been around when it manifested.. idea Say, did you happen to catch any weird smells when the thing manifested? Read somewhere that demonic haunts usually be accompanied by sulfiric or rotting smell. sweatdrop

Now what I'm about to say don't take the wrong way please, but it might help to have you Mum see a Psychologist. I don't think she's crazy but she could drawing things to her with her belief that there are demons around her.
They could be laching onto her negative feeling. Which would then mean it's not the houses that are haunted but her. This could then also be effecting you in turn.
I would also say that you should try cleaning your house of the bad energy that could be causing the bad dreams. Try burning sage in all the rooms, maybe get a dream catcher as well.
Demons are really very rare, unless people are getting hurt or throw, things getting thrown around, horrible smells it's unlikely to be one. Probably just a nasty spirit.

What does it smell like when you feel the negative essence? If it's unbearably sweet, or horribly rotten, it's a demon. What state do your grandparents live in? Is it a haunted state?

@Wallop098: ..now that I think about it, the house I'm in has a funny smell to it for the start. x.x; Then again we did have mice, I my mom caught one and forgot to check for it..that was the case at first. After we got rid of everything there was still like a rotting smell for awhile, along with flies coming from nowhere. There was also one at my grandmother's house that she's been trying to get rid of for awhile.. she just figured something got up under the house and died.
@Dazzler: No, I think my mom is crazy actually. Considering all she's done to me lately.. treats me horrible for a month and then claims that it was all fine, that she was just in a bad mood. I think she's bipolar- she's my friend sometimes, other days she's too good to talk to me. She pretends she cares some days, some days she dosen't bother.
They could, though, that's her theory for my grandmother considering all the things my grandmother has done.
I will try to... I remember my mom doing all that and it still not helping anything though. She eventually tried buring sage in all the rooms at our trailer... she got to her closet and it instantly went out. I'll go farther than that.. try a few things my mom did at our last house. Is it really good to use candles? I realize nothing really happens with them burning.. but I think one of my worst experiences came after I blew one out. x.x;
@Wallop098: It could be a poltergeist.. I want to doubt it, though..
@iiPunkCookeh: I've not really felt anything in awhile... but in my sleep and after waking up. Even then.. my nose has been stopped up.x.x My grandparents/ I live in the state of Kentucky. It's haunted, although my belief on places being haunted... I believe there isn't a state that does not have a haunted place in it. Some states just have more activity..
It may be possible I'm somewhat protected from spirits or other things that would try to bother me... I believe my dad may be protecting me. The last time I really felt negative energy, though, was at this same house I'm in a month ago. That same night everyone in the house that slept had nigthmares, or didn't sleep at all.. I was uneasy, my brother even for some reason slept with his lights on which he never does. I don't know if it's true or not.. but my mom's new boyfriend claimed that someone had been trying to contact him through the nightmares. He pretty much told me that after a few he realized it was my dad, and my dad was telling him that he would keep on with the nigthmares and stuff of that sort until my mom's boyfriend told us that he loved us. I also think that part of the reason my mom moved out.. is because she kept on having nightmares about my dad. The first night we stayed here... she scared my brother and I to death. She ended up getting drunk and cried almost all night, then finally went back to the other bathroom and started screaming. I asked her what that was about later and she claimed it was over my dad.
It's possible it's my dad.. or something pretending to be my dad? Or that and more? x.x I don't know, the whole situtation has me confused.

Hmm, wouldn't a poltergiest be smite more easy to deal with? Unless be attracted or 'caused' by you or your mom. Sometimes manifests a latent psyhic abilites, right? sweatdrop

I very much doubt it's your Dad causing all of the trouble. It is unlike for someone who had just died (or died in the pass couple of years) to have enough power to effect everyone in your house at once. It's more likly someone pretending to be your Dad to make you all listen to it. I mean if someone appeared in your dream and told you something you wouldn't take is serious, but if it's your Dad you're seeing you may believe in in a little more.
You could try looking up online for a local spirital church and see if they would be willing to help, or look up some cleaning spells for you to use yourself. And remember, spells work best when you believe they will work. Get everyone who has been effected to try and help with it and that should give it some extra power.

@Wallop098: Yeah, It would.. I've heard of something like that is possible. I do think my hate for being in certain places, like where I'm living now and my mom's trailer, are because of what has happened to me in those places. Both places have an effect on my health.. where my mom is living through did that from the start. My mom and I have both been through a lot these past few years.. I don't believe it can just be that, though. I don't know.. x.x;
@Dazzler: Yeah, I had my thoughts about that, too.. if he would even be capable of doing much yet. It's possible though, if he wanted, he would be able to get someone else to do it for him... but then again I kind of doubt that.. even if it makes sense that he would be mad. Most likely if he could've been him, he would have been mad at my mom's boyfriend for what he has done to us. I don't think I mentioned, though.. I had nightmares that same night, and for once they wern't clear at all to me. I mainly remember it was what I thought a little girl pulling at my hair all night though... Even then it couldn't be my dad doing all of it, he was trying to help me before he died.
Eh, wouldn't be a good idea trying to get help from the churches around here to help.. the area I live around is corrupt pretty much. To them anything they don't like/ anyone they don't like is evil. They wouldn't like the fact I even believe in the things I do... They'll just ignore me and probably talk bad about me for a few weeks. >.>; I won't even go to the churches here because of what the people do. They pretend to be nice and like each other when they're there.. they leave and they gossip about everyone. They think they can't do anything wrong because they go to church, they use that as their excuse.

A spirital church is much more likely to hear you out that a normal church. If you can't find one in your area getting in touch with a paranormal group and asking for their advise would also help.
Since you sufffer a lot from bad dreams try keeping a record of them and then try and find out the meanings of the things you see. For example (this is the only one I can think of at the moment) dreaming of teeth is meant to mean money.

I am going to state the obvious, because this is happening in different locations and the same person then the spirits are most likely haunting you in particular. It's probably because the spirits think that you are sensitive to spirits so if they interact with you they will make their prescence known.

Is there any sort of scent when it manifests itself? Because if so then you may have whats called an Elemental on your hands, a kind of demon that most demons are, they can hurt you. I saw on a episode of Ghost Hunters at Leap Castle in Ireland one of their investigators named Dustin got thrown to the other side of the room when they were in the room because he called it a "Sissy" kind of stupid but still.... Information =)
