The day had begun not to long ago with Amandus being released from his den after eating and getting a lesson in manners from one of the other members of his pride. Who cares if he was a bit of a bully and liked to rough house to hard? He didn't need friends! He was good by himself, or that's what he though. Thinking back on it, the orange leopard did realize that he was a bit lonely from always picking on the others and no one wanting to play with him.
He almost snorted at the idea of having a friend, but he did kind of want one. I guess. So, since no one in his pride would play for him, maybe if he went to the borders.... someone would be there. He could try to be nice for a change in an attempt to get a friend. His tail flicked a bit at that idea but padded along anyway.
Passing the border marker, he stepped out into familiar looking surroundings. Just because it was his first time he took a step out of the pride doesn't mean he hadn't been looking at the surroundings. Still, unease filled him. The guards were off doing their rounds, which meant if he was in trouble, he would be vulnerable unless he ran like hell. Like anything could happen to me. I'm so much stronger than anyone! He tried to assure himself.
Stealing his nerves, the male padded further, sniffing at the ground in an attempt to try to pick up a recent sent.

Isoke grinned triumphantly to herself as she peered down at the world from a great huge mountain that she'd climbed all by herself! Alright. It wasn't a mountain, but only a large boulder, she admited to herself. That didn't change the fact that she'd climbed on top of it all by herself. She stood proudly on the rock, peering about at the jungle below. She pawed at the stone and crouched down against it, almost blending in with the similar colored thing. No one could see her up here. She was on top of the world!
Wait! What was that? Who dared to come into her lands? Did they know that all she could see from her rock was her's and off-limit to anyone else? Didn't they?! No. It didn't look as if they did. She scowled down at the yellow and blue form she'd spotted. "Hey you! You're trespassing!" Isoke yelled, settling into a ready-to-pounce position. "You'd better go away!"

Violet eyes jerked upwards as he heard a voice from somewhere high; ears flicking. It was a girl, obviously, and she sounded so cocky to boot! A grin spread on his light orange muzzle and he looked around before finally spotting a dot on the boulder that wasn't all that big. He was trespassing on her lands? It was laughable! Which is exactly what the leopard was doing.
He let out a hearty laugh at her words and shook his head. "Hey, girlie! You're near my pride, which means that this is my hunting lands!" He called back, going to the foot of the boulder and started to climb up it. He wouldn't let a female get the better of him.
Scrambling, claws sounding harsh on rock, it took him a few minutes to actually get up there to see that she was actually a very cute little cheetah female. Her markings weren't as awesome or noticeable as his own, but she had her own cuteness about her. "Well, look at you," he said through a little bit of a pant, trying to appear macho. "I'll wrestle you off this boulder."

He dared to laugh at her? Isoke's eyes narrowed and she let out a small growl as she glared at the leopard cub. "You better not laugh at me! I'm queen here and I'll beat you up!" She threatened, her tail lashing about as she prepared to pounce the cub. She'd just wait from him to get up on top of the boulder.
"Well I think your pride is stupid! After all, if a whelp like you is the best they can do, then they must be!" She added, sticking out her tongue as the boy made it to the top of the rock. The cheeton was actually surprised that he was a bit attractive. He'd sounded ugly when he was climbing up here. "I'd like to see you try. This is my rock and you're not going to steal it." She exclaimed before she pounced at him with a smirk.

The leopard couldn't help but laugh again at her and he shook his head. Her? A queen? Completely laughable.
When pounced, Amandus flipped over on his stomach and kicked his feet up at her, hoping to flop her off the rock and back onto the ground. If he didn't, though, he'd end up nearly falling off the rock with all the moving he was doing and he'd scramble back, claws making that horrible noise all over again.

The young cub couldn't help a squeak as she was knocked backwards. She slid over the edge of the boulder, but managed to grab at it with her front paws. Her back paws kicked against the rock as she struggled to pull herself up. "Cheater! That was cheating! You're a cheater!" She bellowed at the other youngster. "When I get back up, you'll pay for attacking the queen! You will!" How dare he? Still, with all her anger and her determination to pull herself up and teach the boy a lesson, she found she wasn't getting anywhere.

Her anger did nothing for the leopard male. Instead, he peeked over the bolder and watched as she struggled to get back up and didn't seem to be getting anywhere. Chuckling to himself, he circled the top of the bolder and then back to her. Well, what else was there to do but talk?
"Queen? Yeah, right. Maybe queen of I talk to much and have an obnoxious voice." That's right, he wasn't very nice, but he never said he was, did he? Amandus believed himself to be something of a bully. Though the guilt would start eating at him sooner or later.

Isoke glared. "Well you're so stupid that they won't even make you King of the Stupids because you're too stupid." She snarled as she struggled up the rock. It took her awhile, but she finally managed to get back to the top of it and pull herself up, still glaring at the male. "I bet you still run back to your mommy when you get scared. And I bet you can't even go out when it's nighttime cause you're too scared of the dark!" She spat, her eyes narrowed. He'd laughed at her and pushed her off of her mini cliff. He must be the biggest stupid head ever!

Him, run back to his mother? No. Just... no. He'd never run to either of his parents when he was scared. He huddled up with the rest of his siblings so they wouldn't get a lashing with their mother's tongue. Amandus wanted to say something about that, but she didn't need to know of his issues. "Whatever." He smirked when she got up and laughed at her once again. Girls were so dumb and easily hurt. He was glad he wasn't a girl. That would be dumb.
He was getting really tired of this game really easily. It took a lot to hold Amandus' attention for long, and she wasn't doing a very good job of it. So, he bonked her on the head with his tail and lept down, rolling when he hit the ground and getting on his feet. "You're boring! I'm going somewhere else."
Without much else, he turned back toward his pride and entered the borders, knowing she couldn't follow.
