Tomomi Iwakuro: 1st Division Captain

~Information~
Name: Tomomi Iwakuro - Also known as Tomo and Kuro
Age: 921 - Looks about 12
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Personality: Very mature for how young he looks. He is calm and keeps to himself at most times. He does however, like to be around people a lot, and will start conversations. He doesn't like to fight and kill, but will do so anyways. He will die to save any of his allies.
Bio: As a child in the world of the living, he could see the spirits of those who had passed. He couldn't see hollows very well, but he could feel them. While playing with his friends one day, a Hollow happened to crash down on them, and attacked him and his friends. In a desperation to save his friends, he threw his own life to the Hollow. Once he was a spirit, he could finally see the hollows, and saw something different. This time, he saw someone in black robes come and attack one of them. The Shinigami, what he was told they were named, killed the foul demons to protect the souls of the living, and to cleans the Hollows of their sins they have to cut them across their mask.

Tomomi followed what this shinigami said, and he was sent to the Soul Society. Once there, he began to realize he felt different. Tattoo's upon his arm were believed to hold giant serpent inside of Tomomi. The serpent brought winter when it came by the sea or by the sky. Tomomi soon found out about the shinigami's and how to become one. Being one to not take a family and have no great family, he wasn't as smiled upon by the others. Tomomi, even with his height, could defend himself very skillfully in his combat classes. When he finally got his blades, he received two, and was told it was very rare to ever get these. Tomomi then was asked to join the 1st Court Guard Squad, the 'Elite' of the squads. Tomomi accepted, and trained himself until his power rose to a lieutenant level. Once he was able to know the name of his blade's spirit, he found out it was the spirit of the Twin-Horned Queen Serpent, the one believed to be locked inside of him. From there, he was asked to join Division 11, which he did so as well. Once more, training followed, he had not only received a Shikai, but he had got to a Captain's level and was able to release a minimal amount of his Bankai. Tomomi rose to the top from being at the bottom. He tells his story to other shinigami, to inspire them to do their best. Now, he has become the 1st Division Captain, and the Soutaichou.

Shikai Abilities:
Dokudokushii Aisu-Kiba (Venomous Ice-Fang) -
If the blades are to sink into the skin, or slash it, the victim will be infected by the Ouhi-Hebi's venom. The venom will slow the target down by at least 30-50%, depending on their size, and will last until Tomomi's Shikai is discharged. If Tomomi is killed while the venom is still in the victim, the venom will stick, and soon attack the nervous system, possibly killing or just permanently immobilizing his target..

Nyoronyoro (Slitheringly) -
This ability is quite the opposite of his first ability. This can only affect Tomomi himself, but it will increase is speed quite a bit, and his reaction time is quite faster than normal.

Bankai Appearance: Ouhi-Hebi
Extended Name: Tsuin-Keiteki Ouhi Aisu-Hebi, dageki..
Bankai Abilities:
When bankai is released, a rare site comes about; His zanpakuto's spirit can be seen coming down from the sky, twisting around itself above him.

Gouzen-Ikazuchi (Roaring-Thunder) -
Ouhi-Hebi draws water particles into her mouth, and also causes the air to heat up, from made friction. When Ouhi-Hebi finally fires her blast that ices over everything with a great roar, the friction makes the sound of thunder. This attack can freeze an opponent in an ice chamber, which Tomomi will usually shatter, or Ouhi-Hebi will bite through, but the target can possibly escape, but with a low chance.

Dokudokushii Touketsu-Tsume (Venomous Frozen-Claw) -
This attack deals with the blades. If the blades touch skin, it will form ice over where it has touched. As like venom, the ice will spread, and begin to immobilize it's target. Finally, once the venom has taken over the limbs, or immobilized the target's legs, Tomomi finishes of the victim.
Ice Coverage over limb: Average of 5-10 minutes.
Ice Coverage Over Two Limbs: Effect strengthens, only 15-17 minutes for ice to cover two limbs.
Ice Coverage of Full Body-No Head: Average of 20-23 minutes.

Hankai (Partial Destruction) - Max time released is 10 minutes. Further training, or fighting with Ouhi-Hebi, may lead to long time limit of release.
This is where Ouhi-Hebi is 'let off her leash'. Ouhi-Hebi will begin a furious assault against the enemy of her keeper. She will cause as much destruction as possible while killing her pray as well, but with this attack, Tomomi may only keep her in low restraint. Tomomi will only be able to stop her if he puts away his bankai, or Ouhi-Hebi's time limit has been reached. She may only be in Hankai for ten minutes, but in those ten minutes, anything in her path will be either partially to totally destroyed.

~Dashing~

A most basic technique that allows the user to throw him/herself to a certain direction using a certain angle of which way the the stance is directed and executed. Based on an individual's attributes, dashing can be quite a moderately fast move instead of running. Also depending on the distance, dashing can be quite useful if in closer range to the opponent. This technique is basically for all ranks.

~Shunpo (Flash-Step)~

A movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. This technique requires a very high level of training, thus a most difficult one to obtain. One, who is of a high lieutenant ranking, must be able to possess Shunpo. Furthermore, it is a most fearsome mid-range/long-range speed known to be the exceeding ability than dashing. All in all, this ability can only be used by lieutenants and captains. For lieutenants it is nearly mastered, yet not perfected. Therefore, it is only of mid-range level 1. For captains Shunpo is of a level 2 maximum ability in which it is fully perfected for both mid-range and long-range.

~Air Walk~

Another skill, though not necessarily related, is the Soul Reaper ability to walk on air using spiritual energy. By collecting and solidifying spiritual particles beneath their feet, Soul Reapers can gain traction on thin air to either freely move about or to stop themselves from falling. This particular ability can only be obtained from officer level. Furthermore, it cannot necessarily be used every so often, especially for officers. It is an ability that can only be temporarily used but cannot last for a very long period of time. However, for lieutenants, they can stay on air for quite a bit longer and for captains, it can be held for quite a long while considering the great amount of riatsu within a captain ranking individual.

~Senka (Flash Blossom)~

Although Shunpo is connected with this ability, this technique possess a unique name and style of its own. This technique is known as Senka (闪花, Flash Blossom), a flash step combined with a spin to quickly move behind the enemy, followed by a strike aimed to destroy the saketsu chain and the hakusui soul sleep with a combination of two quick thrusts. This technique is one of the two, that Youruichi developed mixing Shunpo to complete its ability. Furthermore, only certain individuals, of high ranking captain level can possess such an ability.

~Utsusemi~

This technique is one of the most difficult speed abilities of them all. Furthermore, this is also one of the two, that Youruichi developed as well. It is the 4 ways of the Shihou through Shunpo which is also known as "Utsusemi". It's ability is a speed known to be so fast that the user leaves an afterimage of him/herself. Its affect is most absolute, superb, and flawless if ever fully perfected. And to be more specific, Utsusemi's speed is so fast, that the enemy can practically feel and touch the physical body of the afterimage and not even know the very fact that it is nothing more but an afterimage. Its very image can easily deceive the eyes of the enemy. This technique is very rare, thus few captains are able to possess such a flawless ability. Furthermore, it is most lethal when combining Senka after Utsusemi is executed.

Personality
Ryosuke has a very serious nature. He puts his work before anything else and does not tolerate misconduct. He enjoys sparring with friends but does not enjoy killing. However he believes in order to maintain peace and prosperity evil must be fought.
Ryo values friendship however he values honesty above all and is not afraid to speak his mind. If he thinks someone is annoying he will say so. If he doesn’t like someone’s hairstyle he will tell them. Ryo very seldom loses his temper. He is very calm in most situations and is hard to break.

Zanpakuto Spirit: Ryosuke’s zanpakuto is called kage ookami ( Shadow Wolf). He is a black wolf with yellow eyes. Though larger than the average wolf, he is very loyal. Loyal enough to share his thoughts on battles. Though he can be quite sarcastic at times his intentions are always to help and never to hinder. Ryo does not need to unsheath his zanpakuto in shikai, the second zanpakuto will form after he has unsheathed it.

Reiatsu Control: Ryosuke’s reiatsu has the ability to manipulate shadows. Without unsheathing or releasing his zanpakuto Ryo already has the ability to manipulate shadows but not in an extensive way and only his own shadow.

Shikai:

Ryo’s zanpakuto creates a copy of itself during shikai, allowing him dual wield during shikai, by using its own shadow. It is as real and as solid as the original and while battling the original cannot be told the difference.

Ryo’s shadow manipulation can be used for a diverse range of attacks and recon. The fact Ryo wields two zanpakuto gives him the ability to manipulate more than one shadow. In order to manipulate a shadow Ryo does not need to touch it instead the shadow that occupies the gap in each zanpakuto will shoot from it and connect with the shadow Ryo wishes to manipulate, for example a trees shadow. The shadow is so thin and quick is generally not recognised by the opponent unless they had a very keen eye. Ryo does not need to point his zanpakuto in the shadows direction. Instead the shadow from his zanpakuto will disconnect from the shadow between the blade and occupy the for example trees shadow.

Shadow Manipulation: Ryo’s spiritual power will occupy the shadow in between his zanpakuto. Using his energy Ryo shoots the spiritual power filled shadow to occupy the one shadow wishing to be manipulated. These shadows can then be manipulated to attack or defend. This can also be done with his own shadow. This attack includes the manipulation of 5 different types of animal. Each animal is different specie, and named, each has a different element or speciality.

Shadow Needle Decoy: Ryo can fire the shadow in his blade at the Opponent. The shadow is small and needle like and can pierce the opponent. Though this may seem to do little damage successive amounts of these shadows cause increase pain. This attack is more of a diversion than an attack.

Shadow Needle Trap: While the opponent is busy dodging the Decoy Ryo will fire Shadow Needles towards the opponent’s shadow. If the shadow is pierced Ryo can now control that person’s shadow. He can cause it to stand upright and fight his opponent as a solid mass though it will only Sword fight not use the Opponents abilities. The shadow’s have the obvious weakness of light. However depending on the strength of the opponent, a simple light/fire/kidou beam may not be enough to defeat their own shadow. The stronger the opponent the harder their shadow is to defeat. However the concentration needed to maintain this type of shadow requires Ryo to not summon any more shadows. This will last a maximum of 5 posts in Shikai and 10 posts in Bankai.

Spears of Darkness: Ryo will stick both zanpakuto in the ground and place one palm on the floor. Ryo’s own shadow will split into 3 and attack the opponent. Ryo has to stay stationary for this move.

Close Bind: While fighting an opponent at close range Ryo can use his own shadow to bind the opponent’s limbs and drain the reiatsu from that limb. The effects will be that kidous (if an arm) and shunpo (If a leg) will be deeply weakened after two posts. The secret to defeating this move is one many would not expect. Opponents can increase their spiritual pressure which will be too much for the Shadow to contain weakening the shadow considerably causing Ryo to retreat as he is in danger and begin another strategy. Opponents can also struggle free if the shadow is weakened or Ryo gets distracted. This can also be severed by spiritual pressure but if cut, as the shadow is cut the opponent is likely to injure themselves.

Shadow defence: Ryo will manipulate his shadow to cover him. It will appear to the opponent that his skin has turned black. This sort of armour will protect him from blunt force trauma.

Bankai
Ryo’s dual zanpakuto reduces to one, but larger, black zanpakuto. The Zanpakuto is completely black and slightly transparent though when attacking it would feel like a solid mass. See picture below

Ryo also gains a more beast-like nature. His eyes will turn slit and yellow allowing him better sight in the dark and better observation in general.
His movements will be quicker more agile and his hearing and smell senses will increase.

All shikai abilities can be used to effect.

Ocean of Darkness: Ryo draws a circle in the ground around him and the surrounding turn to darkness. The opponent will feel a slight weightless feeling and they will get the sensation of being trapped in a bubble. Ryo can now manipulate shadows freely for attack.

Shadow wolves/dragon: Ryo prefers to uses this move in conjuction with Ocean of Darkness as the amount of wolves can be increased. During normal battle and in bankai release Ryo can use the shadow needle to manipulate shadows into wolves or dragons. A maximum of three wolves can be used at one time during normal battle. If Ocean of Darkness is in effect then 5 can be used. Only two dragons can be used during normal battle mode (they will be Chinese type dragons) and three during Ocean of Darkness. Wolves will slash and bite while dragons will bite and breathe black fire. This is not actual fire. It is merely an illustration. However, the fire will give the painful sensation of being stabbed by countless needles.

Animal Manipulation x 10: A stronger version of the standard shadow manipulation. Instead of 5 different specie Ryo can now summon 10 different types. People may see that Ryo has a prefered species he likes to summon both in shikai and bankai.


Shadow Shuriken: Ryo can fire black Shuriken towards the Opponent. The amount will be depending on the light. If its dark there can by hundreds if it’s light he will have to be in shadow and the amount can be only 50 in minimum shadow..

History
Born in the real world, Ryo held a similar personality as he does today. Smart, extremely honest, and loyal to his friend’s and family. The only difference was that he was hot headed. One of his values which haven’t changed today was that every person should have the right to stand up for themselves. Though back in the real world Ryo went about that in a bad tempered manner, easily losing his cool to anyone that did anything bad to him and his loved one.

When Ryo grew up he wanted to do something in the military. Either the Air force or Army. He didn’t care; he just wanted the freedom of travelling the world and serving his homeland. However this dream never became true. He passed all the tests in the air force making his family extremely proud. However the day before his pass out parade a police chase including a stolen 4x4 with drunken thieves crashed into one of soldier’s buses sending it weaving off course and down an embankment. The result was that 3 out of 15 soldiers including Ryo died and 7 hospitalised.

Ryo spent the next day watching the pass out parade sadly, wishing he was there, and receiving the beret he worked so hard for. The crowded court yard held a minutes silence for him and the two other soldiers that had died the day before. A moment later a shinigami appeared giving his condolences and then sent him to the soul society.

Ryo spent the next year in a moderate district in the soul society. Strangers became a close family and they lived quite happily. Despite his sadness, many told him he would learn to love his new life. Ryo doubted it, he felt all he had worked for had been lost. Everything he had learnt had been for nothing. Now there was no where to go, he would have to start all over again. All his emotions and sadness he could feel were tiring others out. As a result Ryo decided to block out all the emotions and not show them. This was the new starting point for Ryo’s current personality.

One day Ryo recognised the uniform of a shinigami. The shinigami did not stay long, and so Ryo did not have a chance to talk to him, so Ryo decided to ask his new family who they were. They told him that they protected the real world and the soul society, helping spirits pass on while fighting bad ones. Ryo felt that finally he could have another purpose. With a new found dream Ryo made bid to join the shinigami academy. To be Continued...

Zique: 3rd Division Captain

Name: Zique
Age: (appears to be) 19
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Personality: Zique is sarcastic, sadistic, slacker, carefree, and a professional procrastinator. He pretty much doesn't care about anything else in the world but himself. He can appear to be cruel at times, but this is just because of the fact that he doesn't care about anything else. His other characteristics are pretty random [especially when he's on automatic behavior mode]. He tends to sleep a lot, being narcoleptic and all, during something important like a meeting or a fight.
Bio: He used to live a happy life with his twin brother, Agi. But when they were five their village was destroyed by a bunch of hoodlums. He was able to escape but got separated from his brother. Since then, his heart was eaten by the flames of revenge. He wandered, in search of the ones responsible for the death of his parents. He managed to make his way to the nearby village and got caught up in a fight and died.

When he was roaming in the streets of Rukongai, he was found by a retired shinigami and thought that he had potential so he took him in and trained him. During this time, the one who took him in influenced him and his hatred for the ones who murdered his parents somehow disappeared, although not completely. When he grew up, he decided to become a shinigami himself in hopes of finding his brother and avenging the death of his parents.

Sealed Form Appearance: A bit shorter than the size of a regular katana with a black-colored hilt which seems to fade to white as it reaches the tip of the sheath. It also doesn't have a hand guard. It is lightweight and thus making Zique's attacks more swift.

Zanpakuto Spirit Appearance: Ikugami

Shikai Appearance: His zanpakuto changes into a shape-memory cloth. This can change configuration to a dueling sword or extend to grapple or embed itself into walls. These unique abilities can also be used in battle. Zique can also spin it in place from its hilt at high speed to act as an efficient shield against projectiles. His speed and reflexes also increase significantly after he releases.
Shikai Command: "Ikinaruhe, Ikugami"
Shikai Abilities:
#1: His sword/whip has the ability to turn into wind and can therefore hit the opponent no matter where it goes. Obviously, the opponent can't see, feel or even sense that it's coming their way. It's just like the natural wind. Ikugami gets his power from the wind itself so it can replenish its power as long as there is wind and Zique has enough energy to keep him in his released state. The cutting power of Ikugami is so great that it can cut through a Reiatsu shield and even an Arrancar's Hierro.

~Skills, Techniques, and Kido~

Specialty: Footwork and defense.

Narcolepsy: At times, Zique tends to fall asleep during a match. In such situations he performs automatic behavior, something 40% of people with narcolepsy experience. After which, he has no memory of whatever happened during his slumber. His body reacts automatically to the opponents attacks. And by sending lightning to a specific body part, he can make it move extremely fast, bypassing his nervous system. Note that his body does this by itself.

Master Swordsmanship Specialist: He holds his Zanpakuto in reverse, like holding a tonfa, which means he had training to use this style. His sword also doesn't have a hand guard, which is used for defense, making it more difficult to wield the sword in reverse but he is able to use it with ease. He is able to execute difficult techniques with his sword.

Flash-Step Master: One of his specialties being footwork, he is one of the most proficient when it comes to executing Flash-steps. He is also able to perform Utsusemi, which is something only a few people in the whole Soul Society can do.

Expert Hand-to-hand Combatant: He is known to be highly proficient when fighting unarmed. Before he became a shinigami, he didn't have any weapons to use so he was forced to train in hand-to-hand combat. He also trained with his brother, Agi, before when they were young.

He covers his face with a mask that resembles what the doctors used to wear back in the Plague. He never takes it off so no one has seen what his face really looks like... except Agi.

He wears a good luck charm in the form of a necklace around his wrist [no, that's not a typo] which was given by Dante after Tsugumi betrayed Soul Society. Only he, Dante, Naomi and Kai have this kind of necklace. It has a Kanji made out of stone which meant "Loyalty".

He has a pair of silver gauntlets made out of steel. These were also given to him by Dante. He takes it off when he's not in a fight but he still brings it with him everywhere he goes.

He carries a small white box with a pill inside which can greatly increase one's reiatsu for four hours. After that time, however, one will stay completely paralyzed for two straight days. It is only to be taken when his life is in great danger. The pill was given to him by Agi the day he joined the third division.

He has two bottles with pills in them given to him by the captain of the twelfth division, Hei, when he and his lieutenant crashed in the third division's training grounds. One contains awareness pills that were meant to increase his awareness and reactions while he is asleep. The other has pills that forcibly keeps the target awake. Both were labeled and had instructions on them.

(Written with the kanji for 'doctor', 'samurai', and 'snow' respectively)

Personality: Yuki has an elegant and somewhat angelic disposition about her. She is constantly cheerful and dislikes being mean; though she can be _serious when the need arises. This disposition can change when in battle, but sometimes it doesn't. She has a sweet-tooth and loves stuffed animals.
Bio: Yuki is the dizygotic twin sister to Hakase Hei, the current 12th Division Captain. She graduated the academy around the same time as him as well. _She has no idol but looks up to her brother despite the fact that she's older by a few minutes. The circumstances surrounding the death of her and her _brother are unknown, and unlike her brother, she desires to know them. She grew up with her brother in one of the higher areas of the Rukongai, _working for their food but it wasn't so bad that they had to be illegal about it. After admittance into the academy, she worked harder than most to _attain good marks and graduated with excellent scores in Kidō and healing.

Other Appearance: Sporting large breasts, she keeps them bound under bandages that wrap around her stomach as well, baring only her navel. The _same types of bandages are wrapped around her arms and legs as well. The bandages on her arms are wrapped over long, fingerless brown gloves _that go all the way up to just below her shoulders. In battle, she has a tendency to let the top of her Shihakushō hang down off her waist as it's _easier to move around in. She wears her long black hair up in a ponytail save the long bangs that she lets fall in her face.

Zanpakutō

Rei Nagare (零流れ, Zero Stream) A standard tanto with a black cord attached to the sheath that is used to tie the tanto to a belt, either leg, or to her clothes. It has no guard but the habaki is made of 24 karat gold. This is its release form as it is a constant release-type. In exchange for using her powers, Yuki grows younger by a set amount of time each and every time she uses the concentrated version. Age regression is equivalent to the amount of power used. Rei Nagare has no elemental affinity.

Shikai: It is triggered by the command "Nagarederu" (流れ出る, Pour Out) She found this out by having her brother seal it with his own abilities so she _could release it for the first time.

Personality:
Lee is pretty calm and serious most of the time. He is kind and understanding with everyone whether they are in his Squad or not. He is very protective over his Squad and Soul Society. He is peaceful by nature, but that doesn't mean he won't fight if he has to. When in battle he often times tries to avoid giving a death blow unless he feels he has to. He follows orders, but not blindly and will stand up for what he believes in. He believes heavily in honor and will not interfere in a battle most of the time.
Bio:
Lee was born in soul society in the seventieth district so right from the start he had to fight and steal just to survive. His father disappeared when his mother found out she was pregnant for whatever reason. He decided to go to the academy and become a shinigami to escape. His mother who was sick at the time was over joyed that her son would finally be able to get out of the district they lived. During his first day his mother died and he found out that his father was also deceased.

He has since used his mothers death as a reason to try and become the best in her memory. He graduated with somewhat high marks afterwards and became a shinigami of the Eighth Division. He started out low and slowly began working his way up the ranks doing the best he could to achieve Bankai. He just recently made it to the position of Lieutenant and achieved Bankai and thinks that as he is now his mother would be proud. He still has his eyes set on a higher position and is working towards fulfilling what he believes is his true potential.

Namihime (Wave Princess) is a reverse bladed katana when sealed reflecting his peaceful nature. It has a dark blue hilt with a small ribbon coming off the bottom. The guard is a full circle that has a flowing water design on it and is silver.

The blade straightens and lengthens becoming sharp on both sides. The hilt curves at the end and becomes wrapped in dark blue silk with a long dark blue tassel hanging of the end. The guard disappears completely.

Bankai Abilities:
Mizusa-ji (Water Surge) - He can still shoot out a wave of water though it causes more damage now or he can point his Zanpakuto at them and shoot out a stream of highly pressurized water capable of cutting even steel.
Sobieru (Rise) - The water now erupts in front of him and behind him in the form of a wall to block attacks. The water can still erupt underneath his opponent in the form of a pressurized stream except now the stream is more pressurized and a lot faster.
Sazanami (Ripple) - He can twirl in a circle with his zanpakuto out sending highly pressurized waves to shoot out around him almost like a stone being dropped in water.
Aranami (Raging Wave) - Gathers all the water around into one big wave of water that crashes down on his opponent and him. Because of how destructive it can be he only uses it as a last resort.
In his Bankai he is also able to rapidly cool the water to turn it into ice which he usually uses to slow his opponent down. He can also use it with his other attacks to shoot a wave of ice or create a wall of ice. He can also rapidly heat the water causing it to boil.

Bio:When he was born, Kato was born with the ability to alter and foresee time. Kato was a beggar on the street for most of his life. He doesn't remember how he got there, but he knows it had something to do with his mother. It was his lifelong wish to see his mother again. He finally saw his mom crossing the street one day, and he ran out to go see her. He was hit by a car and woke up somewhere in Rukongai. He probably would have been a beggar there too, but in a dream, an angel came and told him the only was he would see his mother was if he rid the land of injustice and despair. When he asked to join the academy, he was automatically accepted because his hereditary trait was deemed useful in the Gotei 13. He trained and was taken under the wing of the 2nd Squad Captain as his vice. After his Captain died, he left that squad, deeming himself unworthy to take that position. He was then transferred to Squad Seven where he became captain after many more years of hard work.

Shikai Abilities: Discord One: The edges of Discord glow blue, and if the opponent hits blade while his Zanpakuto is released, the opponent loses the ability to communicate with his Zankaputo for 2 posts.
Discord Two: The blade emits a screeching sound, similar to a bunch of wrong notes played on a piano, that immobilizes the opponent by bringing up memories of ,well, Discord. It doesn't matter how deep, or if the opponent forgot about the incident, as long as it happened, it will show. The less painful memories you have, the easier and the faster it will be to escape.

Bankai Appearance: Kanpata becomes an 'arrow' that floats in the air while Discord becomes the 'bow'
Extended Name: Discordic Light (Meh. Wtf. I know. I'll think of one..)
Bankai Abilities: A dome surrounds the entire area, originally dark, but can be changed to light when Kato wishes. When the dome is light, Kanpata 'possesses' Kato, and becomes the embodiment of light, very fast, pure, and hard to predict. When the dome is dark, Discord possesses Kato, and becomes exponentially stronger, as well as he loses the ability to think rationally.

Agility

~Dashing~

A most basic technique that allows the user to throw him/herself to a certain direction using a certain angle of which way the the stance is directed and executed. Based on an individual's attributes, dashing can be quite a moderately fast move instead of running. Also depending on the distance, dashing can be quite useful if in closer range to the opponent. This technique is basically for all ranks.

~Shunpo (Flash-Step)~

A movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. This technique requires a very high level of training, thus a most difficult one to obtain. One, who is of a high lieutenant ranking, must be able to possess Shunpo. Furthermore, it is a most fearsome mid-range/long-range speed known to be the exceeding ability than dashing. All in all, this ability can only be used by lieutenants and captains. For lieutenants it is nearly mastered, yet not perfected. Therefore, it is only of mid-range level 1. For captains Shunpo is of a level 2 maximum ability in which it is fully perfected for both mid-range and long-range.

~Air Walk~

Another skill, though not necessarily related, is the Soul Reaper ability to walk on air using spiritual energy. By collecting and solidifying spiritual particles beneath their feet, Soul Reapers can gain traction on thin air to either freely move about or to stop themselves from falling. This particular ability can only be obtained from officer level. Furthermore, it cannot necessarily be used every so often, especially for officers. It is an ability that can only be temporarily used but cannot last for a very long period of time. However, for lieutenants, they can stay on air for quite a bit longer and for captains, it can be held for quite a long while considering the great amount of reiatsu within a captain ranking individual.

~Triple Vision~

Kato gained the ability to create 'clones' of light when he became a captain. All the clones can act independently, and communicate as a team, although Kato tires quickly when there is more than three of them to control.

Personality: "You've got to put the past behind you before you can move on." is one of her favorite motto's.
Mochi is highly flirtatious. The lines of gender blur for her, she willingly flirts with any gender, and isnt afraid to do so. She's a self proclaimed "Curious Soul", which leaders her to flirting uncontrollably.

She has much respect for her higher ups, but usually doesnt show that. She doesnt use honorifics for her higher ups unless it's with the Captain Commander, and even then, she doesnt use them often. Instead, she gives them annoying pet names.

Her temper is extremely short, though when it is set off, most people cant tell because she becomes somewhat comical. She resorts to "thwacking" people with her staff instead of actually fighting them.

Fighting isnt really her thing because of her zanpakutou spirit. She's deathly afraid of him, refusing to even call him by his real name.

Overall, she is a very happy person. She prefers to look at the good in someone before seeing them for what they really are.

Bio:
Mochi's human life was short lived. She was raised by a carnival owner, a mean man who forced her to perform in the shows he did twice a week. She worked as an acrobat for much of her young life, and now incorporates that into her fighting style. She ran away from the circus/carnival thing after being touched by one of the Freak Show workers. He later found her and killed her.

After arriving at Rukongai, she joined a group of orphans that stole from shops to feed each other. She snuck into one of the royal families houses after about 100 years of doing the same thing. When she got in, she was arrested by a few shinigami that were helping out the family. They later told her she might be a good candidate for the ranks, which led her to joining the Soul Society.

Sealed Form Appearance:
In it's sealed state, Odokemonoshi is a long staff that is always strapped to Mochi's back. It is about as long as she is tall, and though it looks weak and wooden, it's made of a thick metal that wont break under pressure. It's a black color, with a stripe of white at the very top. The very bottom of the staff is spiked, though if it's purposely like that or not is unknown.

Odokemonoshi is a demented clown/jester. His colors are purple, cerulean, and black, the three colors that Mochi wears all the time. He wears a jester hat, but also carries a top hat with him at all times. He's always smiling, though his smile is never happy: it's always demented and sadistic looking. He's always looking forward to the death of his next victim.

Shikai Appearance:
By pulling out her staff and twirling it a few times, Odokemonoshi begins to blaze a bright demonic purple color before she stops its twirling. Instead of just being a staff, it now has a head on it, like so, only the red is replaced by cerulean, and the staff is now purple in color. Her appearance doesnt change at all.

Shikai Abilities:

Teguchi Kou: Trick Box
Mochi waves the staff in front of her and three 8'8 boxes appear in front of her. Each box spins around her twice before disappearing. Each one is a different color, and each one does a different thing. They reaper when an attack is near Mochi though.

*The cerulean one can absorb energy based attacks three times before it explodes.
*The black one also absorbs energy based attacks, but instead of holding them, it teleports to a random area around the opponent and shoots the attack back.
*The purple one blocks physical attacks by unfolding itself and moving to protect whatever area is being attacked. Mochi can direct this box to protect anything she wants. (captain level physical attacks can break through this box though)

Nouzui Arashi: Brain Storm
By spinning her staff around and catching the opponents eye , she can capture them in a trance and force them to see their worst fears/nightmares. The only drawback is that Mochi is forced see what the opponent is seeing. Also, both Mochi and the opponent are completely vulnerable when this attack is being used.

Karuto Tatsumaki: Card Tornado
It looks like a Getsuga Tenshou, but instead of being made solely of spiritual energy, it's made of razor sharp cards. She can control the cards perfectly up to a 20 yards radius, but after that the cards go with the current of the wind until they finally spin out of control. On the back of all the cards is her zanpakutou spirit, smiling dementedly.

Bankai Appearance:
Mochi's bankai has four different appearances. They're all the same size, and also inescapable by both Mochi and whoever (or whatever) is within a 120 yard radius of her (120 yards high as well). Nothing can come in, or out of the surrounding area once it is brought up. There are two ways to leave: if Mochi is knocked out, or killed.

Mochi's outfit also changes. She takes on this appearance, and now has two blades, both red in color. The blades only purpose is cutting and directing certain attacks, they have no special powers and are not zanpakutou. (The bow on her chest can double as a facial shield when Kira-Suna is activated.)

Circus Tent: Kyokuba Tento--
A large tent surrounds the area. Inside, clowns and acrobats swing from the top of the tent, jugglers move around juggling dangerous things. It's your normal circus, except the music is scary, and no one is laughing. Everything is dead.

Outside perimeter looks exactly like a circus tent.

Death Prison : Sendo Kangoku--
Exactly what it sounds like.
This surrounding is a large prison chamber. Clowns in striped convict outfits shlup around moaning and groaning about their lost lives.

Outside perimeter looks like cell bars spaced about an inch apart from each other. (nothing can get in or out though)

Black Forest: Kuroi Mori--
Looks almost like the Forest of Menos all in all. Large, leafless trees surround the area, and the dirt is hard and rocky, unkind to all. Dark beasts slumber in this area, and are liable to attack anything with a heartbeat. (Mochi included)

Outside perimeter looks like dead trees with branches splaying everywhere. There are gaps between the large trunks, but again, nothing can get in or out.

Killer Sands: Kira-Suna--
A vast desert surrounds Mochi and her opponent. It is hot, dry, and extremely sunny. A few random cacti pop up, but they look as dead as the sand.

Outside perimeter looks wavy, making it seem as if the desert goes on forever.

(she is still able to attack and defend, though she's not as fast or strong as she would normally be) (both her blades stay with her during this cool down period) (during this cool down period/post, the dice has to be rolled to see which surrounding comes up next)
      **This bankai is ENTIRELY random. What surrounding comes out during the course of the fight is based on rolling of a 4 sided dice.

Circus Tent: Kyokuba Tento--

      Rasen Kaji-- Spiral(ing) Fire
      Simple attack that varies in size depending on who's on fire. The acrobats and clowns that swing from the ceiling catch fire and fall; right onto the opponent. As they're falling, they spin to increase speed and impact strength. An enhanced form of this move involves the clowns and acrobats linking hands above the opponent, and when they get close enough, they pull themselves together, burning said opponent from all sides.

      Naifu Tounyuu-- Knife Throw(er)
      A small clown wearing all white runs out and hands Mochi a box of knives in which she proceeds to throw in multiple different ways. Some knives are burning hot, while others are extremely sharp. There are a total of 100 knives, and when they run out, they cant be replaced until the next time this surrounding is brought out.


Prison Death: Kangoku Sendo--

      Tetsu Otome-- Iron Maiden
      Iron maidens' appear all around the enemy, all of them open. Clowns clad in black outfits appear next to them and attack the enemy with Mochi's strength, speed, and skills, all trying to get the opponent to get closer to the open Maidens. Once inside, the opponent is trapped with no way out until Mochi opens one of the doors and releases them. There are spikes everywhere except in the head area, and none of them are located in vital places. This is meant to torture and subdue the opponent.

      Genbutsu--Stocks
      This isnt really an attack, it's more so a way to capture and make useless of the opponent. Only when provoked will Mochi attack someone or something in the stocks.

      Knife Throw(er) also exists in this surrounding.


Black Forest: Kuroi Mori--

      Kuroi Inu Soshaku-- Black Dog(s) Bite (Tatsujin Inu)
      By calling out Tatsujin Inu Mochi can call out a pack of demon wolves from the forest trees. Their bite is lethal and will poison anything bitten. The poison attacks the opponents senses, starting with hearing, then touch and feeling in the body, then smell, sight, and then finally the sense of where they are (e.g, going up or down, spinning or standing still etc). This attack is the only one that remains during and after the surrounding area has changed. The poison will leave the body through sweat glands and urine after 24 hours, and is not fatal in any way.

      **1-4 Posts--
      Hearing begins to go out on the second post; completely leaves the opponent during the fourth.
      **5-7 Posts--
      Touch goes out during the sixth post, feeling begins to go out during the seventh.
      **8-10 Posts--
      Feeling in the body (this includes feeling pain) is completely gone by the eighth post, and smell begins to fade out during the tenth post.
      **11-15 Posts--
      Sense of smell is completely gone, and sight begins to fade. First the opponent's vision just becomes rather blurred, but by the thirteenth post, it is completely gone. By the fifteenth post, the opponent will no long be able to stand without stumbling like a drunkard or worse.

      Karasu Hane-- Raven(s) Wing (Tatsujin Karasu)
      By calling out Tatsujin Karasu several large ravens appear and begin spinning around the opponent rapidly, creating large currents of razor sharp wind. The ravens can be guided by Mochi's blades.


Killer Sands: Kira-Suna--

      Kobura Dageki-- Cobra Strike
      A large cobra made of sand appears. It is hardened sand, so if the opponent is hit by any part of the cobra, they will be damaged. The cobra can be controlled by Mochi's blades.

      Kinjitou Kangoku-- Pyramid Death
      Large pyramids shoot up from the sand, each one with a base of 30 feet and pointed spears at the points of them. There can only a max of 20 pyramids that appear at a time. Their main purpose is to impale the target, but they can also be used to get rid of persisting attacks of the opponents.

      Suna Toburai-- Sand Burial
      Large holes of sand start appearing under and around the opponent, taking anything on top of its surface down with it. Each pit is about 20 yards deep, and once the opponent is inside, sand covers the top, burying them alive. After using this attack, Mochi usually seals the opponent in the pit but jumping into the air and letting out all of her reiatsu so that it compresses the sand.

~Skills, Techniques, and Kidō~

*Zanjutsu:
7/10 -Often uses his/her zanpakuto. Adept in Zanjutsu, has mastered all of his/her zanpakuto's basic abilities and is learning to use a combination of these attacks. Shi Kai and Ban Kai.

*Kido:
6/10 - Has above average knowledge of Kido. Can spam basic level Kido spells, can string together low-level Kido spells, can perform basic and low-level Kido spells without incantation. Bakudo and Hado spells numbers 1-80 and is able to use intermediate Chiyudo and Bougyoudo spells.

*Agility:
9/10 - Air Walking can be done even when upside-down, in relation to the ground. Dashing can be done at near Shunpo level speed. Shunpo is often times used in combination with Air Walking and Dashing. Senka is mastered, but the Zanjutsu requirement is still present, and the shinigami can perform the elusive Utsusemi, provided his/her Agility points are maxed out. Shunko can be done as well; if the shinigami has at least has 6-8 Kido points.

*Hakuda:
9/10 - The shinigami transcends human levels when it comes to speed and strength. Kicks and punches can become blurred and grapples can come out of nowhere.

*Reiatsu:
9/10 - Reiatsu is given off consciously, and can therefore be controlled. The full scope of the Reiatsu can be felt over large areas, sometimes across an area the size of Seiretei. Here the Reiatsu interferes with the physical functions of fairly low-level opponents.

*Physical Strength:
8/10 - Average Strength and Endurance. Can lift a large human, can still deliver attacks while sustaining near-fatal injuries.

Personality:
Serious, to the point of being comical. He views things relatively in black and white and is rarely seen showing any form of compassion. He does however show a bit of cowardice, and will not hesitate to run from a losing fight.
Bio:
Hibiki was a child born into a poor family. They were nomads relying upon the winds of fate to shelter them. One day they chanced upon an old abandoned building and took shelter, there they had a chance to live peacefully, but only for a week or so. A furious storm hit the area, lightning and winds tore apart the roof of their house and the rain brought about a tremendous flood. Their parents urged them to cross the raging waters, so they did. All of them went across, save for Hibiki, when he mustered the courage to brave the hellish winds, a strong gale, carrying a piece of metal ended his life as its force knocked him into the river unconscious.
He woke up in the district of Rukongai Number 80. He scrambled to find his parents, his siblings, but eventually gave up. He lived in this unforgiving district, running, surviving, existing. He forgot about the dreaded memories of his life, but carried with him a sense of fear for the winds as he struggled to find a better life. Years later he became a shinigami and he escaped the life of poverty... but he has yet to loosen fear's clutch on him.

Shikai Abilities:
1. Tsume: By riding the air trail left by an enemies movements Oni no Kaze can follow its target until it hits it, or until it is reflected or recalled.
2. Kuchibasi: Hibiki throws Kaze in a straight line towards the enemy. This is its most powerful attack, but its weakness is that it can not be redirected and very hard to recall.
3. Hane: A faster version of Kuchibasi, this allows Kaze to use a rudimentary form of Shunpo to come back to Hibiki in a flash.

Bankai Appearance:
Six large cyclones.
Extended Name:Ten no Oni no Kaze
Bankai Abilities:
1. Fujin- first of Kaze's two forms
- Here his form of attack are his cyclones, which are generated by six chakram blades. The chakram blades are either in the center of the cyclone or are revolving around a target, they are invisible.
- Generally he uses six cyclones but he can merge two, three or all of them to create a more powerful cyclone. Here the chakram blades merely create a singular cyclone together and have not actually merged.
- Fujin can be used simultaneously with Tengu.
2. Tengu- second of Kaze's two forms
- His attack style reverts back. Here he wields any or all of the six chakram blades. The blades are obviously more powerful than the single Shi Kai shuriken, also the blades are visible now.
- Additionally he can merge the chakram blades to strengthen their attack force, and he can also control them while they are in mid-flight, though their strength is not as strong as when they are thrown.
- Tengu can be used simultaneously as Fujin.

~Agility~
Shunpo - Hibiki has forced himself, out of necessity, to excel at this. At full speed he is able to match the speed of Ten no Oni no Kaze, which he uses to confuse and defeat his opponent.
Senka - He can perform the fatal Senka attack, but in a different manner by using his Shi Kai or Ban Kai.
Air Walk - Though this skill is basic Hibiki still utilizes this in his fights to pull off unorthodox maneuvers.
Dashing - Alone the strength of this skill is weak, but combined with Ten no Oni no Kaze's Tengu form, it can cause quite a bit of damage.

~Kido~
Hibiki is very much skilled in Kido, but his expertise lies more on Bakudo spells rather than Hado, Chiyudo or Bougyoudo.

Steel Plated Gauntlets - Although a bit eccentric, past experience has taught Hibiki that Kaze can and will cut even him, if used incorrectly. To prevent this he wears leather gloves, decked out with generous plates of steel. This allows him to recall Kaze without fear of having his wrist cut off, it also gives an added boost to his punches... not that he ever uses them.

Kai is a very milo person but only if you don't piss him off . At times he can be cocky , show arrogance or even his large ego that can sometimes blow up in his face . He also happens to be a very laid back guy and loves a party. Regarding the bad in his personalty,once he gets know a person he can open his heart and reveal his true feelings.

Bio:
Kai grew up in a harmonized Clan known as the Tetsu clan (meaning peace in Japanese.)During the time there he experienced love, joy and encouragement to grow stronger and be the best that anyone could ever be. Kai cherished every moment her spent there. Everyday he breathed and what not .However the last night there was the ugliest night there. As Kai’s mother tucked Kai into bed a roar of screams lingered in his ear. Soon as Kai step out of his room, blood was being splattered about the grounds hasty. Kai then witnessed the end of his clan . The man who caused this was known as Azien. His face was an ugly fragment of Kai’s ugly memories. Anyhow, after the massacre Kai became isolated in his clan holly temple as he stayed there as a sad and painful ghost. He stayed there reminiscing on his clan and every minute he stayed there ,every chain broke making one step closer in being and hallow. Finally the pain was removed from his heart when a Shinigami ended it for him. Despite he’s clan hate for the Shinigami , Kai wanted to become one to free his mind, save and protect others. An ultimately kill Azien Suske.

Yoshizawa Ryouji: 11th Division Captain

Name of Character: Hanabu, Yoshizawa Ryouji (Yosh - ee - z - oh - wa. Ree - o- jee)

Personality: Despite his appetence Yoshi is generally a very friendly person. It is very rare for him to raise his temper and as a results he is very calm person during fights. He is quick at act and always trusts his instinct. He is very out going in the fact that he will talk to anyone. He always looks on the bright side of things and if he knows he has lost a fight will just decide to fight harder. He tends to be very patronising to the lower ranks. Yoshi can be seen as very childish on times as every now and again he can be seen playing with children’s toys or eating a lolly. It is very easy to gain trust from yoshi and os he is a very good team player. When ever he sees someone hurt he will go out of his way to help them even at the expense of his own life.

Appearance: Yoshi has a very dark look towards him which conflicts with his personality. He has medium to long dark blue hair which goes down his forehead and his eyes are the same shade of blue. He has a small scarf that is always wrapped around his neck and reaches half way down his back. The colour of this scarf is also dark blue to match both his eyes and hair. He is 5 foot 9 and weighs only 70 Kilos. He is a small built man. Usually wears the expected Shinigami uniform apart from the scarf.

Zanpaku-to Appearance: (Sealed) His Zanpaku-to is a short Katana which is held one his back side ways which would be grabbed using his right hand. His sheath and hilt of his Katana has a dark blue ribbon which can be used with his attacks.

Zanpaku-to Appearance: (Shikai Obtained) The call for this is "Over Load Their Circuits. "The appearance changes greatly when he enters shikai because it is no longer a blade. It turns in knuckle blades and as a results of this losses it’s hilt and sheath. Although it never fully loses it's ribbon. A Reiatsu ribbon will appear on the end which will dangle backwards. This ribbon is made out of his own elemental Reiatsu which can some how also be used for attacked. The colour changes from dark blue to electrical light blue. This ribbon will be seen as a large spark but it stays there as other smaller electrical bolts will jump off of it but the ribbon only at a tenth of a meter long. Below is a picture of it but it is the closest resemblance. The actual blade curls much more and the tip is almost touching his wrist. He has one on each hand. When ever he throws an attack, small sparks will be seen jumping on the blade.

Zanpaku-to Ability: (Shikai Obtained)This shikai ability swaps the nerves in the body, for example if Yoshizawa cuts someone with the blade in the arm and then cut again some where else like in the leg then if someone tried to walk they would move their arm and vice versa. This ability affects the nervous system so if he cut the spinal column then it would completely randomises all their movements. If he mange’s to swap a nerve he can swap another nerve without affecting the current one. This affect will last for 6 posts if done correctly. If a successful first hit has happened and another cut does not happen then the arm will go numb and reactions will slow down as a results of this, this affect will last 3 posts only. To swap a nerve a cut does not need to happen, a simple swipe over the skin will made the affect take place. If and when needed he can focus his Reiatsu into his blade increasing both the length and the dangerousness. Doing this will allow the ability to travel through armour.

Zanpaku-to Appearance: (Obtained) The appearance of the bankai changes greatly as both blades now go all the way up the side of his arms and goes above his shoulder and he gains blades up the side of both his legs. The blades on the leg start at the ankle and end up to the thigh. Jinjaku also changes. Jinjaku now has both arms are fully exposed up to the shoulder. This scarf starts to move by itself and it turns into an electricity bolt but never fires off. The colour of the blades stay the same but at the edges of the blades small electrical surges can be seen from them. The ribbons that were on the Shikai are also on this but they have increased in length to a full meter. The name of this is judai na shudan kogeki zuno meaning Critical mass brain storm.

Zanpaku-to Ability: (Obtained) This Bankai ability allows Yoshizawa to completely randomise every nerve of the limb of part of the body that the blade makes contact with. For example if he cuts someones arm then every nerve in that arm will randomise, the finger could control the upper arm. If then he makes another further cut then it will add the body part in question to the equation. If the arm was cut ones then the other arm was cut then the little finger one the right hand can control the upper arm of the left arm. This will greatly make someone at a disadvantage. This affect will last 6 posts until turning into numbness lasting a further 3 posts then completely wearing off. At any time Yoshizawa wants he can send a small jolt of Reistsu and makes the blade of his choice flip out, even the blades at his feet. This extends his reach increabibly and he changes from being a close range fighter to a mid range. The small surges can be extended to further the length of the blade but this extra length will be electricity and so the affect will be able to go through armour. As tihs Bankai is so small and compact it increases his speed due to it being a contact ability.


Another part of his Bankai is that he can summon the claws of his spirit to engulf his hands. The blade are flicked out and kept out continuesly and Reiatsu flows through his blade and takes the shape of diamond claws. As these claws are huge he sacrifices speed for power which goes against his morals as he always perfers speed. When he lifts his hand and opens the claws he can fire a large beam of lighting towards the enemy. This power has nothing or little to do with the nerves of the body apart from the fact that it will make someone twitch if the attack maes contact. If someone is hit by the claws then they will get burns by the electricity. The claws are see through but details such as the diamonds can be seem on them. When ever needed Yoshi can harden the claws to make them solid, these claws are extremely dense and takes tremendos effort to scratch. The tips of the claws when hardened are very sharp and can easily cut through most materials.

He usually likes to start the fight of slow and gain speed through martial arts. He is extremely good at mixed martial arts and perfers to throw punches at the enemy. He knows Judo, Kick Boxing and his most favoured is Muay Thai. He has nothing special about him other than he is extremely fast and has mastered several Martial Arts techniques.


Special Atributes: Due to once being in the 12 division squad he has the remnence of an experiment once done on him. This was to have machanical eyes. This eye would allow me to see all of the lighst off the Electromagnetic Spectrum. These are Radiowaves, Microwaves, Infrared, Visible light, Ultraviolet, X-Ray and Gammaray. This would in turn improve my reactions as I could actually see the light rays them selves allowing him to predict my opponents moves a lot faster. This eye is purple.

History:
He was born into the human world in a normally family. There was nothing special. He enjoyed training. His family had always pushed him to box since he was 5. He was an average person but with a very happy go lucky personality. He had many friends. He was an average student at school. He didn't hate or love his life. He was also an exceptional instrumentalist. He enjoyed playing instruments like the violin, the drums, the flute but his favourite was the guitar. Once out of the blue when he was just 11 years old he was kidnapped by 7 people. He had no idea how he got there, why he was there or anything. He was tortured. Every night for the 6 months he was in there he was beaten, burnt, humiliated and fed just enough to keep him alive. He never had any fight in him after 4 months. He had accepted his fate. He was beaten everyday. Never given a break except for when they got bored for the day. So many things were used on him. He had given up. All up his arms are scars and burns from this day.
One day he was being beaten and the chains that were holding him tightly to the wall broke. He fell to the floor. He had no strength but something was driving him, telling him to get out of there. He was dragging him self out and he got to the door and it opened. He looked up and there standing was his father. His father was one of the people torturing him. Something inside him had snapped. He grabbed the chain that was around his wrist and threw it at his father. It wrapped around his neck. He pulled tighter and tighter until he heard the snap and the body crashed to the ground.
The head dangled down but this didn't stop him. Yoshistarted to hit the person relentlessly in the face. Not stopping. He had been driving to the brink. He had blacked out. He can't remember much from that day. He can't remember how he got out. He might have killed only the father, or he might have killed the other 6. He no longer had friends. He has always wanted to make friends as he had lost all his. When ever people would see him he would act happy. He would put up a wall to protect him self and other people from what he really feels. No one really knows what he thinks or how he really acts. He has lost all interest in his musical talents. He lived only to protect his friends.
When he got out he had lost everything. He had no idea where to go. He trained for the rest of his years. He kept boxing. He lived to box after that moment. It was all he had. When ever he gets in really bad fights he lets all his real anger out. Although he hides his feelings he still enjoys making friends and being with them, It's the only thing that gives his life meaning, This is why he will fight to the death to get better so he can protect his friends.
At the age of 17 he was in a fight. A boxing fight and he was winning. Then he heard a huge bang. He placed his gloves on his stomach and there was blood. He looked behind him and there was someone in the distance. He could feel no pain. All he could see was a person holding up his finger like a gun. Obviously there was a gun but he couldn't see it. With the state he was in he couldn't see much. He smiled as he fell back onto the floor.
Now he was just a wondering soul. Watching all his friends. Making sure they were safe. When ever someone were to hurt them he would rush in trying to save them only being beaten as he couldn't help them. In this state he couldn't help anyone. This gave his life no meaning. He just wanted to give up. He looked at the chain on his chest and saw that it was getting shorter. He couldn't wait to see it get down to the last bolt. He thought it would end his misery. One time a hallow tried to attack his friends. He rushed in to help them. Trying his best to defend them. He tried his best but he couldn't. He let out all his anger and threw one huge punch. Then the hallow split in to. He thought he had done it but a shinigami landed behind him and thanked Yoshi for helping. The shinigami left Yoshi with the thought that he killed the beast. The Shinigami then gave him a choice. Either stay and be turned into one of those beasts and eventually kill his own friends, or become a shinigami and help them out. He took the best option. He knew it would help him become stronger than he is now.

Information

Name: Hakase Hei 博士弊 (written with the kanji for 'doctor', 'samurai', and 'bad habit' respectively)
Age: Appears to be in his mid-20's
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Personality: Hei is quick witted and much smarter than most, a genius, if you will. A very good planner and also very eager to learn, going out of his _way to learn new things. He can be sadistic when it comes to fights, and he sometimes employs torture to get things he needs. He sees everyone _and everything not as a living being but as an object to be researched-including himself. He has little respect or regard for most others, never _hesitating to bring harm to those of a lower rank should the need arise or even on a whim. On the same note, he will also never hesitate to kidnap _any lower ranking member of the Seireitei or any resident of the Rukongai and use them for experiments.

History: Hei is the dizygotic twin brother to Hakase Yuki, the current 4th Division Captain. He graduated the academy around the same time as her as _well. His idol is Kurotsuchi Mayuri and he strived to be just like him while in the academy, even going so far as to wander off during class to find and _watch him. Once being admitted into the Gotei, however, his ambition peaked and he desired to be more than he ever was on the battle field, in the _laboratory and in the mind. The circumstances surrounding the death of him and his sister are unknown, and he expresses no desire to learn them. _This is quite odd given his insatiable desire to learn.

_123 years ago, during his 3rd year in the Gotei 13, Hei attained the rank of 3rd seat of the 12th Division. He himself was Lieutenant ranked, but _because the Captain's daughter was the current Lieutenant, he was unable to take the seat. Some months later, he was labeled as a dangerous _individual and taken to trial. It was believed that he had been kidnapping Rukongai and Seireitei residents and was using them in experimentation.
_However, it couldn't proved in trial and thus the Central 46 were unable to sentence him to death. Strings were pulled within and he was instead
_confined to his own private cell within the Maggot's Nest.

_He spent 27 and a half years in that cell and while in there, had sealed his powers away, thus allowing him to slowly and steadily cause his Reiryoku _to grow to twice that of a Captain's. 27 years into his stay, the Gotei 13 came to be in need of a Shinigami to replace the previous 12th Division _Captain who had died in a freak laboratory accident. Hei's name came up in passing and after noting Hei's prowess and ability in the field, he was _approached by the current Sōtaichō half a year later. The man offered him to set him free if he took the position. Hei took it immediately and began _his life in the Seireitei once more. He continued to kidnap Shinigami and Rukongians after becoming Captain, and the Sōtaichō seemed to look the _other way each and every time. On record he has kidnapped and returned over 3,500 Soul Society residents. All of whom will never be the same for _the rest of their lives. He mostly used them for things like the superhuman drug and its antidote but occasionally he uses them to combat _manufactured hollows and erases their memory afterward.

Usual Clothing: Aside from the Waraji, his outfit is the exact reverse coloring as a standard Captain's outfit. He wears a sleeveless, white kosode, a _sleeveless, black haori with green diamonds and lining, a black shitagi, a white hakama, a black hakama-himo, black tabi, and standard waraji. _Underneath his Shihakushō is a breastplate that is actually one of his creations; a mimetic poly alloy that takes that form until it needs to be used in _other ways. It's about as hard as a normal Hierro and can deflect minor attacks like a blade and punches and such.
Zanpakutō Position: His katana are usually carried by his attendant and 3rd Seat Tsukiko. If not, they are hooked onto his hakama-himo at his right _side.

Other description: Hei has unusually pale skin, the cause of this thought to be his lack of venturing outside for extended periods of time. He has an air _of insanity, much like his predecessor, Kurotsuchi Mayuri and this can be felt within seconds of his approach to any given person, if not immediately. His _nails are about an inch long and are colored purple to match his eyes. They are hard as steel and sharpened to a point as well. Hei has performed _various experiments on himself, some of which include upgrading certain body parts to function as weapons or giving him otherwise useful abilities. He _has a seal upon his chest that takes the same shape as the circle he often uses to augment his Alchemy. The seal suppresses his Reiatsu down to _30% at any given time, and even then it still feels like a Lieutenant's. He also wears 3 pairs of earrings.

Kagezume (影爪, Shadow Claw) A simple, jet-black katana with a small rectangular hilt. Its elemental affinity is Darkness. In conjunction with it's _elemental affinity, the reiatsu released whenever he is using it is black and gives the feel of being dark and heavy as if it's trying to stifle the target's _existence.
__Spirit Appearance Kagezume is about a foot shorter that Hei and he has white hair and green eyes with an eye-patch over the left eye. His body is __littered with jewelry. He wears no shirt and has black gloves that go up to just below his shoulder, as well as black jeans with a belt.
___Yokuatsu no Saishuu Fuuin: Munashii (抑圧 の 最終 封印: 空しい, Final Seal of Supression: Void): A technique not acessible to Hei. It's a seal that ___permanently seals the object in question, preventing it's powers from ever being used again. It does not work on a Zanpakutō.

Kokoro no Kagayaki (心の輝き, Radiance of the Heart) An ornate white katana with a round, golden hilt. It's a constant-release Light type. In _conjunction with its elemental affinity, the Teiatsu released whenever he is using it is pure white and is quite bright, giving the target the feel of bliss _and happiness.
__Spirit Appearance Kokoro is taller than Hei and has long golden hair and wears a white dress that stops around her knees. It supports her fair-sized __chest by wrapping around the back of her neck, leaving most of her back bare. She also wears a type of shoulder-length gloves but her hands don't __go inside at all. The fabric simply goes over the back of her hands and is held in place by a small golden ring that rests on her middle finger.

~Hei can remove the spirits from their Zanpakutō and allow them to fight instead of him. Their power doesn't increase or anything so it'd be the same _as fighting him. However, Hei is rendered nearly powerless while they are away.

Shikai 1: It is triggered by the command, "Plunge the World into Eternal Darkness" (世界を永遠の闇に沈める, sekai wo eien no yami ni shizumeru) _When released, a cloud of Kuromijin flows from the tip of the black katana and hangs in the air all around Hei. To release, Hei must run the tip of his _left ring finger across the blade's shinogi. Subsequently, he must run his right ring finger across the shinogi to seal it.
__Shikai Special Ability: The creation of a substance called the Kuromijin (黒微塵, Black Particles) The Kuromijin are the 120th base element. The __atoms are solid black and are often referred to as dark particles. (They are already a base element in itself [not like fire or water, an actual element __like Hydrogen] and therefore cannot be broken down.) Given their Ecophagic nature, they feed off the Reiryoku/Reishi of objects and abilities, which __gives them their ability to seal and/or suppress abilities, making it so that they themselves cannot be attacked or altered due to their unique __structure. These dark particles generated by the black katana are capable of sealing physical and non-physical objects away in a separate __dimension. Dark particles typically reside inside the black katana itself until needed and at that point will flow out and swirl around his body or hang __in the air like mist, which they have the same consistency as.
___Sesshōku ( 接触, Touch) The ability to touch non-physical objects by placing Kuromijin at the tips of his fingers or body part in question. This ability ____also allows him to tear apart illusions he is aware of by dispersing them into the air.
___Sei (制, Suppression) The ability to seal a Zanpakutō by making the Kuromijin pass over the Zanpakutō in question. The Zanpakutō can be ____released once more generally 3-5 seconds later. A sub-ability of this is that he can seal off his own abilities completely by molding the Kuromijin ____around his arm as a bracelet.
___Shōheki (牆壁, Barrier) Molds the Kuromijin into a wall that absorbs attacks by making them disappear altogether. The attacks are eaten by ____the Kuromijin and the broken down matter is flung into Kagezume's dimension where it can no longer be accessed.
___Kumo (雲, Cloud) Uses the cloud to absorb a target. The target is eaten by the Kuromijin and the broken down matter is flung into Kagezume's ____dimension where it can no longer be accessed.
___Kuroi Sesshōku (黒い接触, Wicked Touch) If and when he should ever touch a Spiritual Being with his left hand, their Reiryoku will immediately ____start to be disrupted, leaving them temporarily unable to use their powers. This can be overcome by dodging or wrenching themselves free if ____caught. The chances are high that there will be a follow-up attack behind the Touch.

_____The separate dimension is simply referred to as Kagezume's dimension and has been given no other name so far. The dimension shuts down _____powers and abilities as well as machines. If something were to be caught in the dimension, it is irretrievable, even if someone attempts to _____summon it. This is because summoning is another type of ability. Only Hei can will things in and out of the dimension at any given time. Attempts _____to enter it would simply be thwarted by the dimension itself.

There is one single thing the Kuromijin cannot seal away/stop, but I will not be giving that away here.

Shikai 2: It is triggered by the command, "Become the Form of Light" (光形に成る, hikari you ni naru) When released, the white katana glows _intensely and Hei's body shimmers briefly. (It DOES NOT sparkle.)
__Shikai Special Ability: Allows him to bend light as he sees fit and become light as well. His kicks and punches increase in speed exponentially.
___Raisoku Shundō (速度瞬動, Light-Speed Instant Movement [In this case, Raisoku is a made up word that is a Portmanteau of 'Raito (ライト, Light)' and ____'Sokudo (速度, Speed]'.]) By utilizing the white side of his Zanpakutō, he is able to turn his body into light particles and achieve the speed of light, ____299,792,458 m/s (about 186,282.397 miles per second), far surpassing a Shunpo, Sonido, Hirenkyaku, or Utsusemi. It's comparable to Utsusemi ____and Gemelos Sonido due to the fact that depending on how he moves, he can create afterimages of himself. He can make several dozen, should ____he choose to do so. Given the speed, even if someone can sense his approach, they won't be able to react in time.
_____Shundō (瞬動, Instant Movement) In this variant, only his feet become light thus making it faster, but slower than the Raisoku Shundō. It just ______barely breaks the sound barrier and is slightly faster than an Utsusemi. ___Kōsen (光線, Light Ray) The ability to fire a beam of light from any part of the body, generally the finger or bottom of the foot. These beams also ____travel at light speed because of their light nature.
___Yata no Kagami (八咫鏡, Eight-Span Mirror) Multi-purpose ability that is used to create mirrors out of light as well as create a thin but wide path ____of light for Hei to travel on at about half of the speed of light.
___Ama no Murakumo (天叢雲, Gathering Clouds of Heaven): Turns the white katana into light, giving it various abilities such as bending it at an ____angle and other things.
___Yasakata no Magatama (八尺瓊曲玉, Eight Shaku Curved Jewel): Hei shoots many light beams from both his hands or from his entire body. Unlike ____his Kōsen, the beams fired are more bullet-like than anything.

Bankai 1: Jigen wo Yugameru (次元を歪め, Warp Dimensions) A large orb that can vary in size that opens up in a space around the black katana as it _disappears and doesn't start to work until the black katana is completely gone.
__Bankai Special Ability: Anyone within its domain will find their powers obsolete. It is designed to automatically seal a Zanpakutō and suppress the __other abilities of Shinigami and Arrancar. The orb is far from being completely inescapable as it can be broken, but it would take a very powerful __force to break it. Anything short of a Cero Oscura fired from the outside with simply be absorbed into it.

All three techniques listed below are compressed forms of his Bankai and thus have no power over suppression.


___Tenmō Kagizaki (天網鉤裂き, Heaven's Vengeance Rip) Hei takes the sheer power of the bankai and compresses it into a new blade (daikatana) ____that unleashes a massive surge of energy that rivals a Cero Oscuras in power upon swinging it. If Muma is released while the nodachi is formed, ____the power is channeled into the Tenmō, increasing in power by 1.2.
___Muma Okori (夢魔起こり, Nightmare Genesis): Within a certain area, (roughly 1000 feet all around Hei) the darkness is sapped away and wraps ____itself around Hei, giving him semblance to a mass of dark energy in a humanoid shape. Hei then releases the darkness outwards in all directions, ____creating a dark shock wave that is capable of leveling a small town. This doesn't mean that the target is obliterated, they are just knocked away, ____similar throwing a motorcycle at a human. This technique is a precursor to Mōra Kuro Kijutsu.
____Mōra Kuro Kijutsu (網羅黒奇術, Encompassing Black Magic): By absorbing the darkness gathered by Muma into his own body, Hei's own physical _____prowess is enhanced by a few factors. While his hair turns pure white, Hei's skin turns from pale white to jet black as he assimilates with the _____darkness. White runes draw themselves onto his skin and they show up through his clothes.

_____Suijaku (衰弱, Breakdown) the command used to cause the physical collapse of his bankai. Due to its unique power, it literally needs a command _____to seal it. Without it, the Bankai would stay active until Hei runs out of Reiryoku or he enters a near-death state.

Other Powers and Abilities

Air Walk: Hei is able to last for long periods of time given him being a captain, and because he can control Reiryoku so well, he is able to walk upside _down as well as stick to walls.
Hakuda: Well adept in many forms of Chinese martial arts, but he is considered nothing special in this area.
Intelligence: Given his status in the Gotei, he is noted as a genius. Hei is more than capable of being able to quickly break down a situation and _understand it. He is most level headed when he is trying to determine a way to defeat something or even when working.
Master Scientist/Inventor: As the head of the Shinigami Research Institute, Hei is a talented inventor and scientist, having created a number of _devices or techniques to aid him in battle or otherwise. His high intellect is evident in this field having created the most amazing things in Soul Society _history. His knowledge has led him to a innate understanding of the abilities of others as well as what happens when independent variables are _entered into an equation.
Master Strategist & Tactician: Hei has repeatedly shown himself to be a very insightful and cunning man with a talent for thinking things well in _advance as well and able to perceive any situation at hand. He has also shown to be a very perceptive and analytical man from how quickly he can _analyze an opponent's power and attack patterns to ultimately make them useless against him. His quick thinking allows him to properly plan out a _fight over 200 steps in advance even while under pressure.
Master Swordsmanship Specialist: He is a master of Nitōryū, Ittōryū, Nitōryū Iai and Ittōryū Iai. He is noted for precise movements and handling, _though he doesn't often use his blades. Iai is the art of quickly drawing and sheathing the blade in one lighting fast movement to create blades of air _that can cut through solid rock and some metals.
Reiryoku control/Kidō: Fine Reiryoku control is a forte of his, but surprisingly, he still sucks at Kidō and prefers not to use it unless necessary. This _isn't to say he can't perform Kidō, he's just not very good at it and they generally have less bite than they should. Rikujōkōrō is the only Kido he can _wield well.
Scientific Knowledge: His knowledge in the Sciences is unparalleled. He can use knowledge of the elements and such to turn the tide of battle. He _can even render certain things useless by using only Science, making him a truly difficult opponent.
Shunpo Expert: He is as fast as a standard Captain and does not excel in the ways of Shunpo.
Vast Spiritual Energy: His Reiryoku is very large as he has tampered with his levels before. Through sealing his powers, he is able to increase it over _time. He generally keeps it under the seal on his chest, and whatever leaks out is trapped by his earrings and converted into Reishi to supplement _the environment, this process going largely unnoticed. He never completely removes it and has only removes certain parts of it when he needs to _instill fear into an opponent. The seal doesn't function like the Gotei's limiter does in that he can still use all of his Reiryoku. The seal merely acts as a _pseudo-barrier around his body to prevent his Reiatsu from destroying his surroundings. This barrier does not, in any way, prevent him from being hit.

Body Modifications

Electrical Rod: Left index finger has a metal rod that pops out and produces electrical currents hot enough to turn sand into glass.
Poison Blood: Several different poisons and chemicals course through his veins.
Extension Arm: His left arm can extend out like a grappling hook. When the arm is attacked it explodes on impact, but with his regenerative serum, _this is not a problem.
Hidden Kusarigama: He is able to pull part of his ear out to form a scythe attached to a rope-like ligament for use as a kusarigama. It is easily as _sharp as a standard Zanpakutō, and he is quite skilled in its use.
Mechanical Eyes: His eyes have been long since replaced by mechanical ones and attached to his brain. These new eyes function exactly like normal _ones except for the fact that they can "telescope," allowing him to see far away.

Personality:: Since Tao lost his parents thanks to the war years ago he grew up without parents, however he acts 'motherly' to his comrades. He tends to step in to protect other people, even if it would bring himself harm. He tries to keep everyone thinking positive, and tends to point out the good in any situation. Even though he comes off as a cheerful kid, he has a side of him that is scared to death of almost everything. After losing his parents he developed a fear of losing his friends and comrades.
Bio: Tao lost both of his parents in a Hollow attack when he was younger, and since then has been raising himself with the help of his teachers and Soul Society. Tao prefers to use his hands and feet more than his Zanpakuto, and can almost always be found barefoot for fighting purposes.

Usual Clothing: While in Soul Society Tao wears the normal Shinigami garb, just with some 'minor' changes. He put some red accents on and around the clothes. While in the real world he wears a red and white striped hoodie, with a blue collared tan shirt and khaki shorts. He prefers to run around bare foot, so he almost never wears shoes.

Shikai Appearance: After being released Ryu becomes a twin bladed katana that can be detached from each other, which is how Tao tends to fight with them. He has never fought someone with the twin bladed katana, only the twin blades.

Shikai Abilities: Tao uses the separated blades to use 'dances' which is a fighting style different from most others. His attacks rely mainly on speed and is more dancing that fighting.

Bankai Appearance: The twin bladed katana's blades bend backwards, forming the frame for a bow.

Bankai Abilities: Using Reiryoku Tao can form the string between the blade tips and fire arrows of Reiryoku, or he can use the Kidou spells and make them into arrows to bend their abilities and strengthen them. [By 'bend' i mean make them do something different, ie; six rods of prison would be an arrow that pierces their body and completely stuns them. / Shot of red fire: it would fire a red arrow that would explode on contact.] Also, the dances from Shikai can still be used.

~Shikai Techniques~

Phantom Dance: By using his Reiryoku and Zanpukto skills together Tao unleashes this dance. He uses Shunpo to move about and slows down for a split second to unleash Reiryoku that makes it look like he is standing there. Using this allows him to create "Phantoms" of himself that makes it easier for him to confuse and attack his enemy.

Dragon Dance: Tao uses his Reiryoku to increase his damage dealt with his Zanpukto.

Dance of the Parasite: Ryu begins to absorb spiritual energy from the air around it, and as it absorbs the energy it will slowly begin to glow pink. This energy can be used in multiple ways including; unlocking more powerful dances, to cast Kidou, and it can also be saved to be used to fire a powerful arrow during Bankai.


~Bankai Techniques~

Shikyo Hitoame: Tao uses his Reiryoku, and spirit particles, to fire multiple arrows at his opponent.

Hisame Arashi: Tao fires a hail storm of small pink arrows, anything it touches will be momentarily stunned. The length of the stun depends on how much Reiryoku he puts into it, and the level of the spirit he is attacking.
