CBS has picked up the NCIS spin-off NCIS:LA. NCIS:LA focuses on the OSP branch of NCIS. The pilot was actually in NCIS season 6, the episodes were 22 & 23, aka Legend Pt.1 & Pt.2 Link: NCIS: Los Angeles Opinions? Personally I dont like the Idea of turning NCIS into another CSI.

meh I'll probably watch it maybe 50% of the time bc that's when Warehouse 13 is on and personally I didn't like when they showed the spinoff except maybe for one character. Besides, Warehouse 13 has noticeable Star Trek references.

well when any one of the original agents from gibbs team could wipe the floor with the entier LA team then yes the spin off sucks

dancer-reader I'm watching it, but its nowhere near as good as the original. true. I watched it for 20 minutes and I'm thinking "There's no funny jokes, the m.e.'s not THAT attractive, the chick who looks like Edna Mode from the Incredibles (NO JOKE) is not really interesting and the only person I actually find interesting is the chick whose name I still don't know and she doesn't even have a major role. And the joke she just had to pull was "try have a gun in your thong." And THAT'S when I shut my tv off.

The only character I really like so far is the little old lady but I still don't even know what she DOES. It's kind of boring compared to the original. neutral

It does suck compared to the original, no question about that. But, on it's own, it's not that bad of a show, even with the lack of likable characters.
Whatever happened to that Macy chick? The one that had some kinda altercation with Gibbs during the 2 part pilot. I thought she was supposed to be heading the team. I guess that's the lil old lady's job, now, huh? Eh, whatev.

The last 2 weeks I had it on because it came on after NCIS but didn't really watch it, was doing other things. (for me Warehouse 13 came on after NCIS LA so no conflict.)
