Name: Gustav Bainbridge
Name Origin: Scandanavian, staff of God
Species: Human
Age: 65
Likes: Dislikes: Overview: At 65 Gustav has the short, compact look of someone who used to be in excellent shape but has let himself go slightly soft around the edges. His black hair is now shot with grey but his blue eyes are still sharp and intelligent, alternately glinting hard as steel or twinkling with amusement.
He was married, once, though they never had any children. Gustav and his wife Lina were both history addicts, they spent the majority of their marriage traveling to the distant lands of dead civilizations. Life was an adventure, then.
Sadly, Lina died after ten years of marriage and Gustav hung up his explorer's hat, seemingly for good. He took a position as a museum curator and specializes in artifacts from dead cultures. Though he no longer seeks out artifacts on foot, he greatly enjoys finding them and purchasing them on behalf of the museum. It's just a different sort of treasure hunting, as he puts it.
One of the cultures he's been doing some research on is that of Rapture, a supposedly utopian underwater city, though nobody truly knows where it is or what became of it. He's found a few items of interest, but altogether it's a small project in the face of many bigger projects. He purchased Ariel without fully realizing what he was getting into. If he hopes she'll be able to shed some light on Rapture, he is sorely mistaken.
