How exactly would the coding for one work? When I've seen codes of the profile it's really awkward, how would I come about making one?

Well firstly you will need a copy of Flash and some prior knowledge of coding in flash and other basic flash operations.
If the profile is completely flashed based then you will not need to know much about Gaia coding CSS. Just a few simple codes to remove the outstanding content and to place and edit the multimedia section which will have your flash site within it.

I know the coding and stuff to flash, but I'm not quite sure where to upload a flash file or put it in the css coding.
