Hey, everyone! Chibi here and welcome to the official guild suggestion thread! <3
As the title says, this thread is for you guys to post your suggestions for the guild. We really want to hear your ideas so if there's anything that you think we should add, please post it here. =3

Every guild needs a guild mule to be a cash stash for subforums and contest prizes, etc. Instead of donating directly to the guild, you donate to the mule. The mule's journal can also be made into a newsletter that people can subscribe to for guild news. Their house can be a guild hangout where people can chat in real time and where parties and events can be held. I suggest that the captain herself be in charge of it, to reduce the chance of hacking and stealing of guild funds.

 My heart is closed up and I feel it crumbling down...
I like the idea of having a guild mule to use the journal as a newsletter and the house as a hangout, but I don't really see the point of donating to the mule instead of the guild. ._.;; I mean, if we ever wanted to use the gold for the guild, Akila (Pharaoh Maliku) would have to go into the mule, donate the gold we need to the guild, and then log back into her account to use the gold. =/ Seems like a bit of a waste to me.
But I do love the other ideas. x3

Yea, I mean, I have a crapload of mules I could use, but I dun really see the entire point. xD; And this isn't my main account anyway. I'm not sure if Im going to turn it into my main or not, but, uh, I dunno, I kinda agree with Chibi on that one.
-shrug-
But I dunno. I'd like to hear other people's opinion too.

One problem we had with the International Music guild is that people kept donating directly to the guild instead of the guild mule. We have currently 60k-ish in the guild funds. Those can only be used for making subforums, which, since the previous owner already had it used anyways, with lots of subforums, we didn't need. We were trying to start a contest, but since everyone was donating gold to the guild instead of to the mule, we couldn't use it! stressed Fortunately, we've managed to stop that.

In that situation, I could understand having a mule then. o-o
Maybe we can make a mule and, during things like contests that we may start, we'll ask for everyone to donate to the mule, but all other donations should go to the guild? o-o

That does make sense. ^-^ Well, I can just use my mule, "Homosexual Chocolate Bear" for that, I think. If that's okay. Either that or I could use another one that is more empty. But jaa.
Of course I dun't think we need to worry about that just yet, but we could put something in the rules about not donating directly to the guild or something like that. -shrug-

So if this is a "yes" to the guild mule thing, I think we should put something about it up on the main page or maybe make an announcement about it or something. ^-^;
