My grandfather just passed away and with his death, my grandmother has been more forward with information.
Her mother's maiden name was Losey (Still unsure about the spelling) but grandmother has made a remark of how either her mother or grandmother is German. Her grandmother's maiden name slips her mind (or so she says).
Losey can be a variation of Lose, which is indeed a German name.
You guys, I'm still convinced that somehow I am 100% halachally Jewish. This isn't just me dreaming, my own grandmother looked slightly uncomfortable when my cousin sat at the dinner table the other day and declared that he hates all Jews.
You see, my grandfather used to have a picture of Hitler and Mussolini up when we were little and he would point at them and say "Good men", there are reasons why my Jewishness is a huge issue in this family.
I'm going to prod today and try and findout what my great-great grandmother's name is but if any of you know where the find geneology, I'd greatly appreciate the help.
I trust you guys, grandmother's maiden name is LaLonde, which is unquestionably French and originated in Normandy.
Maybe I'm crazy, I've gotta be crazy.

1665
Arrival of Jean de Lalonde in New France. This is the same year that the Carignan-Salières regiment arrived. Did he belong to this regiment? There are no records that mention his name. However all the witnesses at his marriage to Marie Babin at Sorel belonged to this famous regiment, even the notary! Can we conclude that he belonged to the Carignan-Salieres regiment? Probably.
1666
In the census taken this year we find Jean in the parish of Sillery, near Quebec City. He is entered on the list of the college of the Jesuit Fathers. Our ancestor's occupation is shown as a domestic.
I'm going to stop here for a moment.
Now... in the mid 1600s, the french were near exclusively catholic. Remember this was still during the time of the Monarchy and the King of France was near and dear to The Pope.
The fact that this ancestor went to a Jesuit college indicates he was, like most french at this time, a Catholic.
Now there are near 40,000 Lalonde members in Canada now. But I do not see any indication that there is a Jew in the Family Tree.

Neuf, there's a ridiculously large Jewish community in Quebec. Anyways, that's not the name I'm concerned about, it's my possible German roots. Grandmother's father may have been a Frenchie, but it's her mother that has my attention.
