Construction and Summoning Updates

First off, all combat familiars will now follow you into a fight much more promptly. We’ve also updated the Summoning status globe (the button near the minimap) so that you can configure what happens when you left-click on it. One of the many options will allow you to send your familiar into action against an NPC (or another player on a PvP World) with just one quick click.

If you want a place to keep your pets, you can now do this with a new room for Construction - the menagerie. It’s a pet-owned house to complement your player-owned one, if you will, in which you can store a number of fully grown pets of any kind. You could create a haven for all three god birds, for instance, or build your very own little dragons’ den.

While we’re on the subject of houses, your butler has learned when it’s time to talk and when it’s time to get on with it. So, when you are training and need the same materials you just used, you won’t need to explain what you’re after. If they come back from the bank with logs, you can send them straight to the sawmill. And if the butler’s payment is due and you don’t have any money on you, they can fetch it from your bank the next time you send them there. They also follow you around unless told otherwise. Other features include a ‘Make-x’ option for flatpack furniture and teleport tablets, and some options for the Teleport to House spell. You can set the spell to deposit you outside your house’s portal or into your house (with building mode switched on or off). More details for these updates can be found on the Knowledge Base.

First... I must say - YES! GOD HELL YES! MAKE X Teleport tabs!! Hahahaha! -points and laughs at the people that said it wouldn't happen- 14,000 wet clay - the price shall EXPLODE! Too bad that I have no interest in selling... yet.

Second off, now that I've calmed down a little from that shriek-fest that inspired. They've also added it for the flat-pack make, which is REALLY good for those that don't have 99 construction (Sorry Kail!). And I can't wait to add a pet menagerie to my house - I already have another Saradomin egg, so I'm going to hatch that when I get a chance. ^_^

Though, just imagine all the squawking that would go on in that area of the house...

For those that are more combat oriented, the fact that the familiars will actually... yanno, fight when they're supposed to is a plus. And when I make all those oak planks, I won't have to worry about carrying money with me to pay my butler. ^_^ That's definitely good. All in all, I'm pleased with this update.

^^ And I didn't even notice that there was a mobilizing army update as well - I'm not too into the minigame, so I'm not sure how well it will work. Hopefully, everyone that's playing that minigame is going to be pleased.

I plan to go capture all the pets I can, banking them so I can raise them gradually. The only ones I've raised and let go were ones I could always get again - the platypus, dog, and cat.

In the menagerie, there's one pet feeder, one mini-obelisk, two "habitat" pet areas, and one "pet house." No idea the limits on the pets available to put in each. I'll wait for someone to make a guide to it - I don't want to have to make and destroy all the habitats to figure out what I need, and besides, I didn't have time this morning to fool with it much. I'm assuming the higher pet feeder you have, the more pets you can feed. However, the feeder could be like the toy box - something necessary that holds everything, it doesn't matter the level.

One menagerie area I plan for is all the godbirds. Or, if I can't have that, I'll have one in each pet-house. My menageries are going to end up being bird sanctuaries - I need to put my raven in there, I plan to get a penguin, and of course all three god-birds. I'm not sure if I want an ex-ex-parrot in there yet or not. O_o; Does that thing even EAT?

It would be nice to keep a cat or two in your house without it counting against you as followers, since you can have a cat bed in your kitchen (the cat gets the entire house, the rest of the pets can have their menageries!).

Our poor butler/maid/demons though. XD Imagine the cleanup.

I'm surprised you never said that about when Fremmy boots 3 came out. >.<

I know I went "WTF!" when they announced being able to sell flatpacks to Grimm... because you had JUST got 99 construction a week prior.
