This morning, while searching for new Sum 41 updates.. I found a sad piece of news:
Cone has confirmed there will not be a new album coming up in 2006, or a tour. The question came about on the Goon Platoon's Q&A Page. This was Cone's answer.
All I can really say is that we most likely won't have a new album in 2006 which means we really won't be touring next year either. Its break time for us. But when we do have our new album out then we will be touring like crazy again and make up for our long break.

It'll be a slow year for all of us, with no waiting for tours or a new album.
But we will have a live CD and DVD coming to North America to help us make it through.

It'll be alright... eventually.
I just hope when they tour again they'll come to Newfie AT LEAST once.

Aww noo, thats a bit sad. But hey, think of it like this. When they come back they are gonna rocker harder than ever, with a new album and everything. So it's something to look forward to!

I heard that some where too....but I don't no where...Oh wait you told me McC on Msn haha!!
Aww but this sucks cuz back in July my dad said next time they go to Vancouver or Kelowna he'd take me to one of their concerts and now Im gunna have to wait forever...This is going to be a long year in 2006...

It will be a tough year, I know that for a fact.
But, it gives me a small break from listening to Sum, and I can let my music tastes grow wider.
And when they come back, I'll be ready to obsess again.
