Hi-ya everybody! Le Sodashi and I have been blessed with some very lovely babies, and seeing as we are both loony in the head (and possibly cannot count) we are giving away two of them. Both of these lovely, colourful does need a loving home and some new friends.
How would someone go about attaining such lovely ladies? Simply enter a naming dream. You can enter for either doe. Only one entry per person. If you wish to write for both does, you can, but you will have to pick your favorite for if you win. This will make giving the babies away much simpler. So basically the Numero-Uno super-winner will get their first choice, and if the second person picked the same one, then they will take the Kimeti that hasn't been written for. If you have any questions ask in this thread, or PM me. Whichever you prefer.
**Also we would appreciate a little coding to simplify things, if you have entered before a I added this you are in the clear, or you can edit it, whatever. Entry for Doe Number: Two or Three Name of Doe: Naming Dream: Rules: Follow Gaia ToS Make your entry comply with the guidelines for Matope's naming dreams Only one entry per person You may not edit your post after you submit it, so think very carefully about you entry! Win or lose gracefully
Things you should know: This contest will be one week long. This means it will close Monday the 24th at midnight Pacific time. (I am in Vancouver, I hope this helps people if they need to check time zones.) I will get to judging as soon as possible. I will be as speedy as I can, but judging length will be determined by the number of entries, please be patient with me. Also, this contest is open to everyone. Newbies are more than welcome to post, as well as veterans, I am equally judgmental mrgreen Both Le Sodashi and I are judging Congratulations Amizade for winning doe #2 and Darkmoon Dancer for winning #3

Entry for Doe Number: Two Name of Doe: Firefly's Eternity Naming Dream: A darkened black sky The blue fades away slowly Giving in to night.
I stare at the stars Each looks like a small firefly Twinkling in the twilight
They fall down to me Circling and casting their glow I am one of them
Suspended in time I'll float away forever Firefly's Eternity

Entry for Doe Number: Three Name of Doe: Sneeze Naming Dream: In, out. In, out. Rise, fall. Rise, fall. My nose is clear, the air is sweet.
In, out. In, out. Rise, fall. Rise, fall. I breathe in the darkness for an eternity.
In, out. In- A tickle. A stirring. It irritates my nose from within. I thrash and shake, I inhale sharply and exhale in a panic,
IN out IN out IN- Then my body responds. A forceful exhale that clears my nose, rattles my vocal chords and leaves my ears ringing. The noise of it echoes out, and I shake my head to clear it of the sound, a sneeze.
[[Oh crud, did not notice form. Hope editing the form in is okay]]

Entry for Doe Number: Three Name of Doe: Sunlight Lullaby Naming Dream:
She looked past her self. It was, she thought, her self, for she had no other word for it and it fit. She was looking past her self, and she saw brightness.
It was a strange thing to see. It made tears come to her eyes, and she nearly had to squint because it was too much brightness. She didn't know where it came from, but wherever it was, it brought warmth and light with it.
It seemed kind, gentle too, as she lay down with it. She closed her eyes . . . they were getting rather heavy and cumbersome anyway.
She was glad the brightness was still there. She could see the bright behind her eyes, like a guardian.
As she drifted into sleep, she heard it. It was the song to end all songs; the most beautiful song in the world. And she knew it was her song.
Something was changing though . . . the brightness was leaving her behind, a cool touch was taking it's place. As she opened her eyes, she watched the brightness leave. Except, it wasn't really leaving her. She knew that. The song was just letting it rest.
Her song, The Lullaby.

Entry for Doe Number: Two Name of Doe: Golden Twilight Naming Dream: "I walk alone. The sun is overhead, and it feels odd. Wrong. Like I don't quite belong here. It's not hot, just wrong. The walk seems to last forever, and the sun never sets. Finally, I stop, I must rest. It can't continue, I am too lonely, and in the wrong time. I hear a voice. 'In the shade, you will be free.' I look around, and see no one. Who spoke? I do not know. But I do know I see something dark ahead. I am able to convince myself to rise, and continue. I move towards the darkness. Again, it seems to take far to long, but as I approach, the sun seems to fall behind me. I am less alone feeling, and less wrong feeling. Finally I arrive, and it seems I walked until the edge of night, for here it is dark for no reason. But I am not quite satisfied. I follow the edge. Finally, I feel it. The rightness. I am in a place were the darkness is golden, dimlit, and golden. I do not know how. I just know it is right, and I am here, in the Golden Twilight. It is my home, myself, my heart.

Entry for Doe Number: Three Name of Doe: Webweave Naming Dream:
Struggle! The one word that echoes loudest in my mind. There are others like: kick, scream, flail. But only one even comes close and it sounds as a low bass, reverberating inside of my skull. It pounds to the point of hurting. Escape... it whispers to me, deep and haunting. I wiggle, and try to pull my limbs free, but all I end up doing is beckoning her. There she is now, creeping closer and closer. Her hairy legs send a shiver up my spine, similar to the one I must have sent up the line. Her hungry jaws snap together, menacing. And her many eyes stare down at me, laughing. She's almost upon me! Quick! Struggle! Escape... But there is nothing to be done, she's standing over me now, prodding at me with her sticky feet. I will not stop fighting, even though it is futile. I shouldn't have flown straight into her trap, her Webweave.

Entry for Doe Number: Two Name of Doe: Morningtide Naming Dream:
((I hope it's Naming Dream material! I've never written one before so I'm not sure if it's right. D; I hope you enjoy reading it anyway. : DD )))
She felt. It was cold. It was dark. The air was still. It was as if the earth was holding its breath, Waiting anxiously for a new day to dawn, Not even daring to think until daybreak. Nothing stirred; even the wind forgot to move. Then suddenly, a single ray of golden light shone through the cloud-spat sky.
She watched. Lingering lazily in the last moments of twilight, Fireflies danced over the murky water, Knowing that their time of reign would soon be over. A lone dragonfly paused momentarily, Suspended in the quiet Matope air Before zipping off again in the blink of an eye.
She knew. This was her time. It had always been her time, it still was, and always would be. In the early hours of dawn, of the First Light, When the world was caught between night and day, She had always felt more awake, more alive And now, this would be where she would lie.
She slept. There was no disquiet, no fear. A restful peace came upon her and settled deep within her heart, It flowed through her veins and she smiled slowly. One last movement before she reached freedom, One last course before the swamp awoke and the silence broke, One last journey before the chaos and din of Morningtide.

Entry for Doe Number: Two Name of Doe: Nightshade Naming Dream:
Pretty poison in my cup Dip my head I drink it up Pain so sweet, a lullaby Crimson red before my eye Like lightning in my veins
Pretty flower, soft and sweet How you look so good to eat Yet underneath that fake façade Stands death wielding weal and rod A symphony of chains
Pretty dream you rant and rave And sing to me beyond the grave My body burns, unending flame From the dark I hear my name Nightshade it contains

Entry for Doe Number: Two Name of Doe: Starsong Naming Dream: Forever. All around. On either side, around and below... I can feel the stars moving, watching; hear them whispering their soft, sweet nothings. I cannot understand what they say. But at the same time, in the same space, the same side, time, view, I can see nothing: blackness peeking out through the blotches of muted lights.
It speaks to me too; low, soothing, but sure. I hear what the inky absence is telling me. "Step this way," it rasps, and its words echo all around. I cannot discern where it's coming from, I cannot tell which way is that or this; left, right, wrong.
It all blends together into blackness. I cannot see. I could never see. And suddenly I am floating, spinning, unaware. Was I always being carried about by this unseen force? Had I just realized it now?
I can feel something changing. Nothing shrieks. Or perhaps it simply ceases its gentle cooing, and I am able to hear what was there all along.
Something shifts inside of me, and the helpless floating feeling is gone. I can feel pressure all around, soft, delicate filaments wrapping all around me, squeezing me gently and telling me I will be okay.
Change is coming fast.
A new something blooms within me, an uneasiness; an unfamiliar wariness for the future. "Stay strong," I hear; the sweetest breath upon my face.
There is no echo, no floating, and the darkness and stars have ceased their whispers. It is all unfamiliar, and the word springs to my lips suddenly: "Fear," I croak. "I am afraid. Who are you?" I ask.
But the soft trade winds kiss my face, brush their lips over my being. "I am everything and nothing. Something. The muted colors of the stars, the light of Matope's nightpelt. I am the shining that guides, and the illumination that reveals. I am nothing. I am everything." It pauses, as if to let me soak in its answers.
And I wait. I can feel the familiar, faint buzzing once again, darkness and light contrasting so strongly in my ears. But this time it is different. This time the beacons around me, the glowing orbs, are brighter, stronger. Their voices caress my 'fear' and I can no longer hear the nothingness vibrating in my being. "But above all," the stars intone - and suddenly I know the word for those lights: stars - "I am you."
The pressure returns, and the stars' gentle voices begin to fade out. I hear nothing. The only thing I am aware of is feeling, a web around me that stretches when I try to shift. Will it break? I push harder, motivated by sheer will and my craving for knowledge of who I am.
"Who are you?" I call again, sounding calmer than I am. I push on the walls surrounding me one last time in a final act of desperation.
"You," the voice sings, "are Starsong."
I feel the walls release me, and weight pushes on my side hard. I have landed. I know the words for things around me: trees, flowers, bushes. It it night time. Night. Darkness. Nothing.
Instinctively, I tip my head up to see in my blindness. Sky.
The gentle humming of the sprinkles of stars follow me into life, growing fainter until I stand on my newfangled legs and face the starsong.

Entry for Doe Number: Two Name of Doe: Flight of the Kingfisher Naming Dream: With wings beating furiously, every part of her body works to keep her head absolutely still. Perfectly still to keep her focus on the water below. Focus on the flickering shadows of fish below.
Stay hovering. Stay still. Wings beating. There! Fish!
The dive is controlled until she passes the point of no return. Wings fold in, and the bird turns into arrow. Splish! The fish doesn't know what hit it, but the last thing it knows is the sensation of flight. The flight of the Kingfisher.
Inspired by this.

Entry for Doe Number: Two Name of Doe: Shimmer-Bug Naming Dream:
She stands in the dark, her dark hide concealing her, watching pinpoints of light flashing around the swamp. Carefully, quietly, she steps forward, walking towards these flashes. At first, she has no idea what they are, but after watching them zip and zag across her vision, she realizes they are fireflies. With silent steps, she follows them, going in circles as she tries to to keep up with just one. Each time it's path intersects the path of another, she loses the first. So, she gives up, content to just follow any she can.
Pulling her thoughts back to the hear and now, she sees that she has wandered into a huge swarm of them. Where before there were just a dozen or so, now there are hundreds. A smile pulls at her lips as she simply enjoys this light show, watching the bugs shimmer and sparkle, wondering what it would be like to zip to and fro with them.
Suddenly, contact, as one lands on her nose. She closes her eyes against the bright flash of the insect's body. In that moment, she feels a flutter in her belly, her eyes spring open. At first, she wonders how the tiny firefly got so large. Then she realizes that in fact she, and not the insect, changed size. Slowly, she floats down, unsure at first how to work her wings. Lucky for her, instinct kicks in, and her wings start to flutter, then buzz. With a flash of her light, she speeds off into the group, overjoyed at the feeling of flight. Feeling giddy, she twists and turns around the others, flashing her own light in response as she moves.
