I want to try them, heard they're the best picks you can use, but I don't want to pay $5 for a single pick that will probably get lost in my laundry.

Overhyped clear pieces of plastic s**t
anyone who seriously thinks that paying 5+ bucks a pick is going to help there "Sustain" or make them play better is an idiot.
I've always used Dulop Tortex "Greens" and have never had a problem.

I have no experience to back up my thoughts, but I can't imagine any pick is going to affect your playing enough to justify spending that much on one - not when you can buy perfectly decent ones for 50p. What makes them so special?

You know one could just get super cheap and use a quarter or penny instead.

i'm a fan of the Jazz III's... these V-picks seem intentionally overpriced as to make your brain think they are better than they really are...

skumskull i'm a fan of the Jazz III's... these V-picks seem intentionally overpriced as to make your brain think they are better than they really are... Then again, that sort of s**t works on some people. I know some stupid psychological stuff that makes me play better - who's to say some idiot who thinks an expensive pick will make a difference doesn't play better simply because they believe that it will make them do so?

Some people do that, for mind games, i think. Maybe it will put you in accidental overdrive. then it F'in sucks for you (I think)
