So here's the dish:
17 year old Gregory Baines's father had been cheating on his mother for years with her hairdresser. When Caroline found out, she filed a divorce. Gregory stuck with his father Andrew because his father is rich.
16 year old Ivy has an 11 year old brother named Philip, and their father died when they were very young. Their mother Maggie has been seeing another man for several years, even when he was married.
Now they are married, and the two families are merging into one. This is the account of how the family settles.

 About Ivy Ivy is 5'2, with clear, pale skin. Her eyes are emerald green. Her hair is curly, and a golden blond. She doesn't dress in any particular way. However, she is told that a lot of people notice her. Ivy has a job at a small store in the mall called Tis' The Season. She used to drive a beat up Dodge truck. Andrew welcomed her to the family with a Dodge Viper.
Ivy is a quiet girl who has never been in the popular, or fast crowd. She has always had good grades, and been a good friend to her two best friends, Beth and Suzanne. She loves her little brother dearly, and has a good relationship with her mother. Ivy is a very musical girl, she plays piano, and composes her own songs.
Ivy isn't the kind of girl to get angry, or to call someone on something they do wrong. She is laid back, and likes to help out her friends. She hangs out with Beth who is really into writing, and is to busy in fantasy to have a real boyfriend. On the other end of the spectrum, Ivy has Suzanne, who is big into guys. She chases them for fun, and makes them ogle over her. She uses Ivy as bait.

 About GregoryGregory is tall, with dark hair and grey eyes. He's got a decent tan, but isn't too dark. He dresses nicely and drives a BMW. He is always surrounded by people, and he always gets what he wants.
He's in the popular crowd. His best friend Eric does drugs, and Gregory bails him out of trouble with his father's money. Then to pay him back, Eric does all of Gregory's dirty work. Gregory likes to prank other people, and he likes to see the reaction, he used Eric in a lot of his pranks.
Gregory is a party guy, his father owns a local college, and he constantly goes to the parties there. He plays the field, he never stays with a girl for very long. Yet almost every girl wants to be with him. Ivy hardly notices him though.

Ivy
Ivy rode in her mother's car up to Andrew's house on the ridge. It was a huge house, with wings, and dark shutters, and three stories. She sighed, she wasn't sure that this house would ever feel like home. Her mother was babbling on about how Andrew was very excited for them to all live together. Ivy just wished that she could stay in the two room apartment. She didn't want to mesh with Gregory, her new stepbrother. He had done a great job of ignoring her at school for the past month.
When they arrived her mother ran up and hugged Andrew. Philip snorted and refused to get out of the car. Ivy got out and smiled at Andrew, and then looked at Gregory. Their parents were in their own world, so Ivy decided to be the polite one. "Hey Gregory." she said.

Gregory looked at Ivy. He had sorta seen her at school, but never really noticed her much.
He looked at her and gave her an akward smile.
"Umm, Hi." he said in return then turning around to walk back inside the house. He wasn't thrilled to be sharing his house. He had the most un-noticed girl living with him now. His buddies teased him about it, but he threw it off his shoulder, it wasn't like he had a choice.

Ivy sighed and walked to the car to drag Philip out. He needed to get out and begin to adjust to the way things were now. She glanced over at her mother and Andrew, they were deeply involved in some discussion. Finally Ivy got impatient and walked over to the couple. "Um, can someone show us to our room? We'd like to unpack." she said.
Andrew eyed them for a minute and then turned towards the house. "GREGORY! GET BACK HERE!" he yelled.
Ivy felt her cheeks flush to a rosy color. She didn't want to bother Gregory, she knew he wasn't pleased, and she didn't want to cause him trouble.

Gregory quickly turned around as his dad called for him.
He walked over casually with his hands in his pockets.
He looked up at him with his stare that let his dad know he was annoyed, but would do it anyway.
"Yeah."

"Gregory, why don't you give Ivy and Philip a tour?" Andrew suggested.
Ivy frowned and shook her head, "I was uh.. hoping that you could Mr. Baines. I don't want to bother Gregory." she protested.
Andrew simply frowned and looked at Gregory, "Have you frightened her already?" he asked.

Andrew frowned at Gregory, and shook his head. Then mumbled something about bad etiquette. "Be nice, and show them around." he said.
Ivy looked at Gregory, "You really don't have to.. I can find my way myself." she said.
Philip smiled at Gregory, "I insist you show us around." he said, just to be difficult.

Gregory frowned insides.
"Alright guys come with me."
Gregory showed them everywhere from the kitchen to every little closet. He showed Ivy and her brother Philip their bedrooms last.
"Thats about it. So, um yeah. See you around." Gregory said ending the tour and walking away.

Ivy was glad when Gregory was done with the tour. She stepped into her room, and heard Philip tossing things around his room. She opened one door, thinking it was a closet. To her surprise it lead to another room, the attic she guessed. She shut the door, and walked over to the closet. She began to hang her clothes. She heard Andrew and her mother come in.
Then they were in her room. Andrew's face was filled with the brilliant smile that had made Ivy's mother, Maggie think an affair wasn't a bad thing. Silly Maggie.' she thought. She noted that Andrew was waiting for her to finish. So she set down her clothes and turned to him. "Gregory told me the room right?" she asked. The room was definitely a girls room, purple wasn't a boys choice of room decor.
"This is the right room. Did you go up those stairs yet?" Andrew asked, nodding to the attic door. Ivy shook her head, and Andrew walked over and went up. Ivy followed, and was speechless when she saw that it was a music room. It had the most expensive sound system, a stereo with multiple disk capabilities, a turn table for records, and a cassette player. The room had padded walls for sound proofing, and the thing that made Ivy gasp was the beautiful piano.
"This is for me?" she asked. Andrew just nodded.

Gregory walked into his room and turned on his PS3.
He heard the "clan" walked into the attic.
Ahh. Must be showing that music room he thought.
He plopped on his bed and began playing his new Call Of Duty game.
Thinking about going to a college party tonight.

Ivy thanked Andrew at least a billion times for the room. This would be perfect for her. She could practice in seclusion, and not worry about bothering the rest of the household. She walked down to her room, and sat on her bed, after everyone had left. She wasn't sure what to do with herself. The house didn't feel like it was hers, the only thing that did was this room, and the music room.
Andrew popped his head in to Gregory's room. He arched a brow, "I figured you'd be a pest to Ivy. She seems to be the kind of girl to drive you crazy." he said, wondering if something was wrong with Gregory.

Dad. You think I am going to tell you. I barely know the girl. Plus, you want me to hit on my step-sister? Isn't that illgal or something?" he asked pausing his game and sitting up on his bed.
