I think too many people would try and go to a walmart and then there woud be a chance that someone is bitten and hasn't told anyone. there is risks where too many people congregate you need to either build your own shelter or thing of a similar place that not a lot of people will go to.

the chances of you getting their first is slim seeing how there will probably be people already there when an outbreak occurs. It would also be hard to fortify it by your self while people are trying to save them self's trying to get in.

You both have really good points. I don't think you would be the first ones there, and besides, even if you were, you wouldn't be able to reinforce or lock the doors in time for others to not get in.
I'm going to my neighborhood Staples, that is, after gathering supplies.
But yeah, I wouldn't go there especially because of the Carnage it would cause, having so many people cramped up into one store.

In my option go there first to raid for supplies then find a different place so you can utilize what you get from there for your starter then find other places to get stuff to. [/Nodnod] But everyone does make a good point. if you do get there first. my advice set up guards.

I plan to go to my Costco(Work there ftw) Its right next to academy smile So we got Wepons+Food+A automobile work place. Generators the works

I am still saying you want to stay clear of all super store walmarts costcos and other stores like that infection will be too fat in those places i wouldnt even stop there for supplies. i would go to smaller corner stores where you can see down all the isles and then bring it back to a remote location that you had already prepared. I would stay with a smaller group not more than three or four tops easier to run and hide that many.

See, MY plan for Walmart related things is that I'm going to go to Walmart BEFORE the zombies get here. Chances are, people won't believe the news, and generally disregard it. But I know the signs of outbreak and I kjnow that when it gets to my area, I'll already be stocked up and I'll have no need to go there. I avoid the problem completely. I'd definitely try to go to smaller corner stores. Definitely a better idea.

Well for me, I would be the first one there tilll about 3 hours after i open up. So if the news comes up about a zombie outbreak Get supplies i need, Since im next to academy head there for guns, Tents,Etc. Wont have long but hell, Ill be prepared

Mine is still in work but as soon as I see the first signs I am heading to Target and Shaws. Getting all my supplies there then head over to Lowes or Home Depot and buy stuff for barricades and head to my school since no one is going to want to go to my school. And have a place to stay and train It has showers so I thought ahead. Plus perks of being 18 I can buy all my weaponry now and have it all set up. I'll have to practice but I can. So I am still in the works of making it but I have an idea.

The point of surviving the ZA is SURVIVING. That means helping other people and cooperating with others to create a safety that you can live in. There's no WAY you will survive the ZA by yourself. You will eventually need to sleep and there will be nobody to watch your back, nobody to cover your back when you're running, and nobody to heal you in battle. UNITY IS POWER. If you are alone, there's not even a chance that you will survive. I see that you don't understand this. But you will. I'm here to EDUCATE everyone, to teach them NOT to do things like your plan would have. Killing innocent people just increases the chance of you getting killed by ONE OF THEM that you are fighting against. Chances are, while you're there killing those people, someone else will kill you to prevent the violence from spreading. There you go. YOU'RE DEAD. NO RESTART, NO EXTRA LIVES. This isn't a videogame, you can't do whatever you want.
