Is there anyone in here who has the will and ability to be an editor for my novel? I really need people with honest opinions and a good eye for error, meaning if you yell at a book because there is something odd about the plot, you want it to be corrected. That's what I need soon.
What you need to do as an editor is:
-Allow me to send you a paper copy draft of my chapter, which means you'll have to give up your address to me. It's like a pen pal kind of thing. Only that you're going to rip my paper to shreds with a red ink pen.
-Look for plot holes and grammar errors in my chapter. Tell me what makes sense and what needs to be cleared up for you to understand.
-Tell me what you like about the chapter, but would like to see more in it. If it needs more conflict, go ahead and tell me. I can take it.
-Send me back the chapter within a week. You have to have some time set aside for this, and I'll make a schedule for everyone participating so you do have time.
I only will have three people do this for me. If you have any questions, please ask away. I will not send e-mail, because I distrust some things about it, and in any case, receiving mail as a youth is a great experience than receiving mail as an adult.

I might be able to do this, but it wouldn't surprise me if a certain someone in my apartment would throw it out because...well hell, she just doesn't like giving me my mail at times. (like a letter from the damn US Navy. Kind of important to look at.)
So yeah, it's highly likely that I can do this.

YAY! Thanks, Soren! I knew I could count on you! I'll probably be done with my first chapter in about...a month or so, so expect it in September. Tell me your busy schedule this year so I know when I can send it to you in advance, ok? I plan to use just one or two copies and have everyone scribble crap all over them so I don't waste paper.
Near the end of the month, I'll ask for your address, ok?

Alright, that could work out. Hopefully, senior year won't be too hectic. (might be a bit though, seeing as I wasn't able to take my SAT in 11th.)
And just wondering: would you mind if I'd send you one of my works? The only people that ever gave me opinion on anything I wrote is my brothers (who hate it because it has 'too many god damn words' and is by me) and my friends at school (who never finish reading the damn things because they can't grasp the concept or any words that aren't a text message.)
I did have a few teachers read some of my stuff (mainly because they had to because they assigned it), but few of them never give me a opinion on them. (it might be because they're mortified by it.) They all seemed to like my Celebrity Jeopardy, seeing as the english teacher I handed it in to made copies of it and handed them out.
So, to shorten it I kind of need a different opinion on some of these.

Of course! We writers have to stick together, you know?
I have a club at my school that I joined in 10th grade and my writing hobby took off from there. I've been deciding not to go this year because everyone's going to object to the president and not come (apparently, they wanted me to be president). So I'm going from time to time.

Don't be afraid to say if it sucks or not. I tend to not see any mistakes until I already print out the whole thing and my brother keeps telling me how horrible my grammar is. So yeah, be honest.
