Very nice artwork he has drawn and colored.

Hmm. I can't draw males so I won't even go there.
The female her chin looks sharps when it would go round.

That is all I have. I like the shadow work he has done.

Wow. Nice work with the coloring and the shadows.
The body proportioning isn't bad either.
There is one thing that bothers me though. The guy's trench coat looks a bit stiff. It might help to add more wrinkles to it...and I don't mean just putting a bunch of shadows where the wrinkles should be. Your friend should consider actual lines to outline the shadows to put some depth into the cloth.

its fantastic! i envy your friend for knowing how to color so good! however the previous post was right, the clothes are a bit too stiff. I think more wrinkles and folds have to be added but other than that its great smile
