So last night, I had some really bad hiccups, and nothing I was doing was helping. I tried drinking water many times, and nothing. I tried holding my breath, but couldn't get past 20 seconds without feeling like I was gonna pass out. So my mutti told me to go swallow a spoonful of sugar. And it worked. I was surprised. But she had also told me not to get a drink of water first, or else it wouldn't have worked. I was pretty surprised.

Funny that it worked, because "You drank water so many times"

My cousin used to do the thing with sugar. What i do is drink water while plugging my ears, i don't know why it works but it does.
