i found it suprising hard to choose between chicken, beef and pork. i think what swayed it for the chicken was the memories of that delicious smell wafting from the kitchen when i was small, and the cripsy skin of course. i've never had any of the more luxurious meats, i've had venison pate, and duck in Chinese food but not roasted. i don't think i'd want to eat swan! too gracious a creature to eat, but am i being hypocritical saying that when i've eaten dear? i suppose i am confused It's all down to what you're used to i suppose, most of us wouldn't want to eat a horse but the French are quite happy to, but we still use the phrase i could eat a horse...interesting.

Roast duck is very nice but if u roast a whole one there are alot of bones and not that much meat. I find the best way to eat duck is to get duck breasts and serve with a reduced raspberry sauce (dont use cranberry surprisingly it doesnt work well I didnt enjoy it anyway) or roasted with a honey glaze
But as far as im concerned u cant get better than a nice bit of scottish beef served a little pink yummmmmmyyyyy

well ill have to go for pork in afraid! the best cuts of beef are too expensive and i find supermarket chicken dull and tasteless. lamb is always a good stand by because its impossible to intensivly rare so the flavour is always there as you can tell im a bit of a foodie but i hope im not snobby with it?
oh and the best bit about sunday dinner? its got to be when you have homemade sausage meat stuffing!!

i had the nicest pork ever when we took my Nan out for lunch on her birthday in the summer, this was on Father's day when it was hotter than hell and there's us sitting down to an enormous pub lunch! it was worth it though, even though no-one wanted to move for about an hour afterwards lol

Kenkoff is everyone suffering with turkey for christmas this year? rebel against the giant dry tasteless bird!!!! get a good cut of beef or even better a free range goose!!!! i get a turkey from work every year, so that's what i've had for christmas lunch for the last 18 years! i'd really like something different this year though, i can fillet the turkey and stuck it in my freezer, i'd much rather have beef, just got to suggest it to my Mum now! i don't think she'll mind though, turkey is the most boring roast of them all afterall.
