*bleated answer but...* Me!!!! I ignored it for months but then I was bored and clicked on it and am so hooked now!! (even stayed up to 4am reading it that first night). lol

It is addicting, but I can't really explain why. It's not as if the art is super fabulous or the storyline is so drama ladden that you can't tear your eyes away, but it's so cute and funny and it just grows on you.
That being said, the translations of the light novel are very nice as well. I especially love Prince's speech near the beginning that the manga seemed to have omitted ((the Bon Jovi moment)).
Btw, who is your favorite character??

I don't get why I like it so much either but it's really easy to live vicariously thru it. By that I mean I'm sure everyone has met someone like Lolidragon and Rose and there really doesn't seem to be a truly evil character in the manga either. It's hard to read 1/2 Prince and still be depressed afterwards too. I'll totally check out the translations soon too! mrgreen
As for favs - Kenshin is starting to grow on me but I don't really have a favorite (except I enjoy seeing the infighting-poor Gui! xp ). And don't ask whether I'm rooting for Gui or Wicked in the romance department. I'm totally torn there. An 8-year romance should have a happy ending but Gui seems so sincere too... ahhhhh!! dramallama dramallama lol

I know D: I was totally rooting for Gui, because I feel that he has truly come to love Prince unconditionally, and he takes Prince's beatings so easilly! But...after the latest chapter, I feel so bad for Wicked! Loving the same girl for 8 years, and then she misunderstood the whole thing too. crying

I'm still kinda rooting for Gui though...

heh I wouldn't mind either one but Gui seems more likely (first introduced male lead is usually the winner in love triangles). Are you enjoying the concert arc? I love the new clothes and the wedding was a hoot!

I've read it, until the updated manga and is currently reading the novel. It's interesting how Feng Lan is getting less girl-like each chapter, even in the novel...

Oh I know, but I think it's because she's been living so long as a guy through the game...when everyone treats you as a male, it's a little hard to remember you're supposed to be a girl. xD

Haha yea, it'll be funny when she returns to a girl. But when I first read about the NPC, kenshin...I was like "That's from rurouni kenshin!" even if he was missing a scar. Then when I read the part in the novel, the author actually did mention it was taken from the same anime/manga. Ha, but his personality here is so different~

Lol, it's because Prince is a total Rurouni Kenshin fan. If you recall in the manga, for a while one of Prince's ultimate attacks was a modification of Kenshin's final move, the 9 dragon something...
The fact that the NPC Kenshin has a similar hairstyle/color and is a swordsman probably reminded Prince of the anime. XD
As for personality...maybe it's closer towards after Battosai, pre-Kaoru, Kenshin? Cause they mention the loss of a lover, and he acts a little more cold, but not heartless.

Lol yea the novel did mention specifically "battosai" but this kenshin here in half prince is so funny. Rather than being heartless, it's more like he just doesn't know how to interact...just like a little child lol.
