Frozen Heart LakeHere is the largest lake of the land, and is located in the middle of the forest which is located in the middle of the land. This lake every one calls the Frozen heart lake since it is always Frozen and shaped like a heart. It is frozen Solid and can gold the weight of a full grown bear or moose. Around the lake edge is snow, but as you get further away form the lake the snow vanishes. It is wired to all the animals of the forest wander why it is always Frozen. The humans with those metal things have tried to destroy the lake but can never get thought the ice with all the things they have. The humans dressed in brown with long hair always protect the lake along with the wolves and the other animals of the forest. This is one think the wolves all have in common, they for some reason feel the need to protect the lake over killing the other packs for land.
Sometimes in the middle of winter or the middle of summer if you stand on the lake directly in the middle you can hear, and feel the lake beat like a heart. Some times during the seasons after a century or two the water will turn red for a few months, yet the ice will stay the same clear color as ever. No one ever knows why and the humans do not know about this either.
Note: This is what the lake looks like with the forest around it. Except its Frozen. The Lake

Ayasha slowly looked out over the water. As she sat there under her favorite tree, she pondered. Why was the lake always frozen...? Especially here, of course there was the shade of the trees, and yet some sunlight came through. She picked up a stone and skipped it over the ice.
She chuckled a bit, how nice it must be to not see a ripple. She sighed a bit right now it was quiet. There was no one to talk to today. Her sister and brother were with their children, and she was on her own. She wasn't use to being on her own yet, but she knew she had to move out of her sister's house. She started to get up slowly, brushing her dark hair back.

Wandering though the clearing towards where the lake was the small young kit staggered onward. The small kit had not had anything to eat for a few days since she was unable to fend for herself yet being to young. She made it to the lake and walked onto it and began to lick the ice of the lake vigorously. She was really thirsty and had no idea where anymore water was around here. She also was to week to care if it was ice or water at the moment. Whining some she began to scratch at the lake and try to get some more water. But having no claws it did little effect and the little black fox kit would lay on the ice to week to even move anymore.
But that all changed when she heard the noise. Her ears pricked up wandering if it was the wolf that had been fallowing her. Since it had killed everyone but her it wanted her. The kit would try to stand on the ice when she heard another crack coming form the same area and a large Bear appeared. It was bigger then the wolf and seemed really mad as it growled and roared at the young fox as she attempted to stand and run across the lake and ended up sliding right into the feet of a young Two legged. She didn't care if it had two legs or four, as long as it kept her safe form the big bad bear. The young kit was noting but skin and bones and it was amazing she was even alive with how thin she was form having to fend for herself.

Ayasha stopped when she heard the crack of a stick behind her, she froze, she knew bears were around her constantly. She knew she should not fear the creatures for they were one of her ancestors spirits. Though bears were a lot bigger then she was, especially the bears around here.
She went to move, only to see the fox kit at her feet. She blinked a few times, watching the baby creature shiver, she frowned...slowly she bent down. "Its alright little one, I won't hurt you.' She could see the poor things bones pokeing through her skin, it hurt her to think what the baby had been through. She held out her hand slowly, watching for the bear as well as watching the kit.

Inali would shrived by the feet of the two legged and sit there so scared to move. She was unable to really move anymore for she had used the last of her energy to run form the bear. She watched the bear and could care less about the two legged picking her up. She was so week anything warm was a comfort to her. She was cold and hungry and scared at the same time. Those things togeather for a poor fox kit were bad.
When the bear left annoyed the young kit lifted her big golden eyes to look at the thing that was warm. She didn't understand what was going on but she felt warm and safe so she just feel asleep there. She was hoping she would wake up again but right now she could care less and just wanted something and somewhere safe to sit and sleep. She was so tired anything was good to her right now

Ayashi picked up the kit, cradling the frail body close to her's. "Its going to be okay little one.' She smiled at the baby. "I am going to take care of you." She slowly began the trip open, she had some water and not much food in her pack.
She knew though that the little kit would not be able to eat the food. She would have to get some goat milk, or some type of milk once she reached home. She would take care of the baby animal, maybe this was her spirit.

She looked up at the human one last time before her big eyes closed for the last time and she feel into a deep sleep. Chest raising and falling slowly the young kit feel asleep again. She had been startled when she had been picked up but once the ride smoothed out she feel back asleep again and probably would not awake until they got to where ever the human was taking her.
