((sorry for the title, I was at a loss on what to put XD wink )
The air was crisp and clear as the sun beamed down merrily into the city streets. People walked idly about, their chatter harmonizing with the racket the cars made on the streets. It was a whole symphony of street sounds as a little kitty lounged on top of a crate. The create and tan colored feline was happily stretched out, golden hues looking skywards watching the puffs of clouds go by. He seemed very content at the moment, not a care in the world. The small male was just happy to be outdoors, though on a crate in a dark alley was less welcoming then some would like but he didn’t mind it.
”I wonder when Theissen will be back….” Eryn murmured softly to himself, looking back around at the empty alleyway. The older feline said he had a connection in to getting them some fish; but the younger wasn’t holding his breath for that one. It wasn’t often he was left alone; the other was like a protective older brother. So it was strange to be lounging here all alone.

All these cars, people, clamoring noises were getting on the little ragamuffins nerves. Honking horns and people chattering were probably at the bottom of Belle's list of relaxing sounds, and all this pretty little thing wanted to do was lounge comfortably by her lonesome. Trotting her way quickly along the fronts of shops and hugging tight to the wall ensured she didn't get stepped on by all the quick feet kicking around. People making their ways to where ever it was they needed to be.
Seeing a dark opening of what she knew as a filthy place, Belle ducked into the alleyway, where at least there the noises died down a little bit and the concern of being stepped on was gone. "Thank goodness. Perhaps I'll let the crowd die down before finding my way back home." She told herself before looking about, scouting for a place to rest. Something seemed to catch the princess' attention, however. A cat who was laid on top of a crate. She slowly approached, not knowing this feline's personality and taking the worst into consideration. "Evening," she spoke simply to the stranger.

The small Singapura was about to fall asleep when he heard something make its way down the alleyway. Lying still for a moment, Eryn wondered if he should camper just in case. But the soft greetings made his head jerk up quickly. Gold hues meekly took in the female feline, looking a little meek for a moment. “U-uh… hello….” He spoke up gently, his tail flicking about nervously. She didn’t seem too horrible, it wasn’t like she was hissing or snarling at him to get him t o give up his nice little spot. Eryn really didn’t know any other felines beside Theissen, so perhaps meeting another wouldn’t hurt.
Peeking his head move over the crate’s lip, he peeked at her to see if she’d come any closer. Nothing about him was intimidating; he was in fact very timid and shy as there wasn’t an imposing bone in his wee body.
“Come to get away from the noise?”

Belle studied the Singapura with growing interest as he peeked from out of the safety of the crate's cover. "Actually, that's exactly what I came here for. Some peace and quiet." She sat right in front of the stand that Eryn was up upon, neck craned back to stare with her bright blue eyes. "What are you doing in a place like this? If you don't mind me asking that is." She would remain upon the grimy flooring of the alley like a proper cat until she was invited up off the damp ground. Hopefully, he was a gentleman and saw her discomfort.

Demi had been padding around town all day, window-shopping for some new clothes mainly. The heavy throngs of people didn't much bother her, but constantly dodging their careless feet was becoming a chore. Pausing in front of a shop that sold dolls and clothes for them, the Bobtail peered in with interest at all the different types of outfits; what kind of style would suit her best...?
Just then, a subtle yet familiar scent hit her nose and she blinked and looked around her. "Princess? She mewed aloud in question, failing to locate the fluffy cat, "What's she doing wandering around a place like this?" Lifting her nose to the air, Demi sniffed again and followed the scent to a dark, dank alley-way. Well, that couldn't be right.... Belle wouldn't come here on her own, would she? With a sudden, alarming thought that the Ragamuffin had found trouble for herself, the tail-less cat peered around the corner with wide, alert eyes. "Princess?!" She called into the alley, soon picking out her friend's long, creamy fur amidst the darkness. As her eyes adjusted, Demi could make out another cat sitting on a crate in front of her. She silently released the breath she was holding and straightened her stance as she walked into the alley. "What are you doing around here on your own?" She glanced up at the other cat as she spoke and added with a curious tone, "And who's this?"

Click. Click. Click. Went her sturdy wooden sandals, though they looked like blocks of just plain wood to most, but they were comfortable and that's all the bombay cared about. Her arms were folded within the sleeves of her kimono and hair done up just so, perhaps she was meeting someone? Doubt it... Turning another corner and into the apparently 'crowded' alley way. Deep green eyes regarded the other cats and for what they were before she picked a somewhat clean path around the trash and junk.
"What a meeting place for the riff raff." The bombay sulked as her ears flattened back into her matching black hair.
Her tail twitched behind her as she moved to walk away from them, she was higher classed, or thought she was anyways and didn't think they were good enough, ok maybe that wasn't too true. But she did seem to have better things on her mind then muck around in some alley. Stopping a moment she regarded the male atop the crate before turning her head away. Hmph...
[[ Sorry, xD She ain't exactly the nicest of cats. ]]

Eryn looked down at the Ragamuffin then looked around for a moment then breathed out slowly. He was a little nervous never the less; Theissen wasn’t here to back him up if anything went sideways. “O-Oh… I’m here waiting for someone…” He said softly, belly crawling to peek more over the edge at her, feeling a little braver. He could see her discomfort and figured it wouldn’t hurt for her to come up on the care right?
”Would you like to come u---“ He was startled from his sentence when another feline showed up and called down towards t hem. He backed up a little again on his crate, looking more nervous now. This was a little bit of an overload for the little singapura.
“I-I-I’m Eryn…” he said to the older feline, his voice very small and shaky. His ears flattened a little, his tail drooped a little as he made himself as small as he could for a split second. Then at the clicking sound near the mouth of the alleyway, he spotted another cat, who seemed more of a threat then the others.

He seemed so skittish. Was Belle really all that intimidating? She couldn't help but laugh at the thought of anybody being weary of her. "Waiting for somebody?" She wondered curiously as the Singapura spoke. He seemed pretty young so maybe it was a guardian or an older figure for the adorable fellow to look up to. Was he inviting her up all the sudden? Of course, she would be much more comfortable up there, without having to tilt her head back at this uncomfortable angle, but it seems like she wont get that chance because the boy was interrupted by a sudden call that even startled Belle.
Spinning around quickly, she caught sight of a painfully charming young bobtail. "Oh! Demi, dear! I was just trying to find a place to rest while the noise out there died down." This cat was always looking out for her it seemed, and Belle was incredibly flattered but she still had that small tingle of pride that wanted to tell the spunky little girl that she was just fine. She glanced up quickly at the kitten who curled back out of site on the crate. "Oh, apparently that's Eryn." She smiled at Demi before leaping up on the edge of the crate and glancing at the pretty kitty. "Don't be shy. She's nice. I'm Belle." She gave a polite bow. Something she was accustom to doing for the first greeting.
From out of the corner of Belle's bright blue eyes she could spot an interesting character come clip clopping down the alley way. Her apparel very distinct and the posture of her was something to take notice of. She wondered who the lady might be but she wasn't about to approach her on account of her bitter behavior. This little Ragamuffin wasn't all to pleased with moody rude kitties.

Being very quiet for a moment, he watched the two ladies to see if this was a good meeting or not. Eryn was thinking about maybe bolting to hide and scurry to the next alley or something but then Theissen wouldn’t be able to find him. Startling back when the ragamuffin jumped up onto the crate near him. He peeked up at her with his golden hues then perked up a little when she reassured him. “N-nice to meet you Belle… “ Eryn said softly, lifting his head a little was hadn’t relaxed yet. However his eyes flicked over towards the fence behind them. Soon a familiar figure hopped over the fence, landing on his feet easily. His body language relaxed instantly as the older feline came over then paused. “Theissen!!” Eryn cried out excitedly. *** Theissen didn’t like to leave his little buddy alone for much too long; he always seemed to find some kind of trouble. Like last time he found the poor little guy trying to hide from a stray dog. So now he only left him alone to find something to eat since the little guy was horrible at it.
So he climbed the crates and trash bins to get over the last fence. But on his way up he heard more voices then he had expected; they had guests? Hopping over easily, he blinked his lime green hues and looked about. Wow, lady guests… Theissen would have never guessed that. He spotted then fluffy ragamuffin up on the crate with Eryn then near the mouth of the alley it was a Bobtail then another that was too far for him to see.

Belle was sure to let her eyes wander over the little Singapura, taking in all the details she could to remember him by. "You're an adorable little thing," she spoke softly so not to startle him. Whenever the little fancy cat gave compliments she was sure to make them sincere. "Why, you mustn't be afraid. I'm being honest. I'm not going to harm you, Eryn." She crouched down a little bit trying to make herself seem smaller and more defenseless, wondering if maybe or not that might work with this timid little kitty. Then, out of nowhere it seemed, he looked behind him, Belle's eyes not following his stare because she thought it was nothing. "Ery-" before she could finish his name he shouted excitedly and Belle just had to look now.
There, just beyond the fence. An older, must more skilled cat was making his way up over the fence, over to where Eryn and Belle were seated just on top of the crate. She widened her eyes and didn't like the looks of the guy, because well. He was a guy and he was older, and Belle didn't want to take any chances if he thought that she was messing with his friend. She leaped back down from the wooden crate and rushed over behind the bobtail, feeling like having a closer friend beside her meant she was safer for some reason.

When Belle bolted away when Theissen came, he wondered why she’d done so, eh wasn’t scary! Though he guessed it was a lot like what his own problem was, it was someone she didn’t know. “Don’t run away! Theissen is nice!” Eryn called to the ragamuffin, standing up now to see everyone better. Looking to see his friend approaching the crate and sitting himself down quietly. Looking pleased when the older cat patted his head fondly, knowing the other was just checking on him.
”Please come back Belle!” he called softly.
Theissen wasn’t surprised when the fluffy cat bolted upon his arrival; it wasn’t anything new to him. He frightened smaller felines, mostly because he was very tall and silent. However underneath it all he was quite the softie, the short hair didn’t like confrontation; he was a lover not a fighter.
He sighed softly, one ear drooping to the side a little as he gave a soft glance to his little buddy. Eryn was such a little doll, once over his fears of a person he was quite the friendly little guy.

Demi watched the small male on the crate carefully as he was timidly introduced. "Eryn, huh." She mewed softly, tasting the name. She decided that he wasn't at all a threat, and shifted her attention towards the sound of clopping approaching them. It sounded nearly like Belle's shoes, but, heavier somehow. The woman that strode past them held the Bobtail's attention a little longer as she took in her clothes. The colors were a little too dark and morbid for her liking, but the style intrigued her. Any fascination was swiftly cast aside, however, when the older female opened her mouth. She had the same prissy attitude as Princess, it seemed, but something about her was slightly more irritating. "Riff Raff, eh? Speak for yourself," She sneered at the other female, eying the mass of curls that was her tail, "Do you even groom yourself in the morning? Your tail looks like a sheep's a**." Demi had really only seen a sheep once, and this cat's tail really didn't resemble the wool at all, but it sounded good. She was tempted to wander off after the haughty cat, feeling her fur fluff up a little at the prospect of upsetting her, but the sudden presence of Belle scurrying behind her halted her in her tracks.
She blinked at the Ragamuffin in question before tossing a glance back at Eryn; had he done something to her? What met her eyes was another, older tom standing beside the younger. "Where did you..." She began, then shut her mouth again and sighed, "Whatever, are you this guy's companion?" The little bobtail nearly wanted to giggle at the comical way he let his ear flop over. "Don't worry Princess, if this guy's intentions are anything but nice, I'll protect you." Demi tossed over her shoulder at the fluffy cat as she placed a hand at her hip. She was becoming aware of the Ragamuffin's ability to care for herself, but she still liked the idea of playing the hero.

Belle only ducked lower as Eryn called out to her from on top of the wooden splintering crate. Her ears flattening back to possibly block out the sounds of him calling her back over but it's not like she could really do that. She glanced up to Demi with desperate eyes, wondering if she would assist the poor fluffy kitten with her issues with socializing with that older, stronger-than-her, man. With the promise of protection, Belle let her ears perk up a little at a time and a smile crossed her lips. "Thank you, Demi. Thank you." She repeated her words to show how sincere she was. Poking her head back around the bobtail she stared at Eryn. "If I call for you... please come." She gave the kind short haired girl a quick loving nuzzle before walking back towards the crate, hesitating a little more with each step, but eventually she made it to her destination. "Hmm, sorry Eryn. I... I got a little spooked is all." She glanced at the older man with weary eyes but decided not looking him in the eyes was the best plan. "W-who's your.... friend?"

Theissen looked at the two females then back over at little Eryn, who looked a little put out that the little ragamuffin was scared. Letting his ear swivel back up to attention when he was called upon, he simply nodded when asked if he was the kitten’s companion of sorts. He wasn’t one for many words one could say, but it seemed this situation he should probably speak as to not seem so frightening.
”I take care of Eryn yes….” Theissen replied, his voice very calm and smooth. “I mean no harm, I merely returned to see how he was doing… however if my presence is troubling them I can leave and return once you’re gone”
Eryn brightened up again as the older cat explained himself then looked to Belle. “He’s like my older brother! His names Theissen! He may look real scary but he’s a big softie!” he piped up brightly in his friends defense. “So please don’t be scared!” Eryn said gently. The singapura seemed to have relaxed quite a bit as if knowing his older friend was near by to keep tabs on him.

Giggling as the Ragamuffin's fluffy fur tickled her neck, Demi waved her off. "Oi, it's not that big a deal!" As Belle pattered back over to the crate and little Eryn, the small Bobtail's attention once again shifted to the older tom. Despite her recent run-in with older, larger males, she wasn't at all intimidated by this one. His outward appearance was completely laid back, and he didn't even seem to be that interested in either Belle or herself. On the other hand, his bright clothing seemed to make an odd contrast to his personality, and this is what held Demi's attention.
She grinned at the young Singapura's pleading words, taking note of his boost in confidence as well. "Relax, you don't have to leave right away!" The dusty-colored kit mewed with a shake of her head as she joined Belle by the crate, placing a hand on her head and ruffling her hair a bit, "Princess, here, is still getting used to the world outside of her humans' home. She'll get over her fear soon, for sure." A brass bell tied into Demi's hair gave a light jingle as she grinned up at the pair.
