Okay this is a follow up on hughs post. As most of you all know the measure of light years is how fast light goes through our universe therefore making 1 light equal to that of 10 earth years. The theory pretty much is that as the universe expands slower and slower it gets bigger. A great example is a balloon. When you keep blowing into the balloon it expands and expands but eventually that balloon will pop therefore theorizing that eventually the universe will just end in an instant so quick you can't even tell. This is why we humans are trying to master time travel and it is possible by the way. But once we figure it out it'll be something like the butterfly effect. It is believed that once enough energy is harnessed into one area it can make a rip in the time space continuum therefore time travel which is what scientist are doing in some part of the country. There is apparently another part of an atom called a tetron i think and once they collide they believe it can make a rip in the time space continuum. The problem with this is that obviously an atom is the smallest thing ever therefore when they try to fire the tetrons at each other theres a very small chance they will meet (thats what the machine does). Right at this moment its firing away hoping that those tetrons will eventually meet creating a rip in the time space continuum therefore enabling time travel.

I thought the universe was expanding like an explosion an it would eventually start moving back in?
Either way, those dudes are nuts, NEVER MESS WITH TIME TRAVEL!

i know thats the same thing my cousin was saying but the universe won't have a reverse effect of the big bang everything will just turn white in an instant eliminating everything we so love and know. Also i forgot to tell you the thing with the tetrons they also believe they could harness that energy to fly to other planets in other galaxies when of course something happens to our planet such as asteroid hitting us etc. but theres another problem with that because we still haven't found any planets in the millions of galaxies to sustain human life. i believe though that they're just trying to move us to cover up for global warming and destroying our planet.

Brooklyn Ninja we do but the only reason why we are the dominant species is because of technology and tools. If the animals had technology then the dinosaurs would be around and we would probably be in a chaotic world where bunnies kill lions with guns. biggrin There are no stupid questions...  Lawl, bunnies rofl just stupid people...
