i heard some one on yahoo say wipe your hard drive memory so i may try that

Try each of these in order, if it doesn't work after a step, head on to the next one.
Step 1: Run the "setup" file in your maple folder to make sure you have the correct display settings.
Step 2: Make sure you have enough memory to run maple. Close any unnecessary programs you're running in the background.
Step 3: Make sure you have Direct X installed. The Maplestory website recomended that I use Direct X 9, but I installed 8 instead and it worked fine.
Step 4: Update the drivers for your video card.

Yes ive tryed re instaling the game but what do u mean by run setup with male story file?

Hmm I just looked in my Nexon folder and it doesn't seem to be there anymore. There used to be a file called "setup" in your game folder that you could click on, and it automatically set your display settings to the correct ones to play maple.
Skip that step, I guess :l
