Who else has read any of these? I have read the first three and can't wait to read the rest. It is a great story!

I found them when I was in middle school. I loved them but haven't read them in years....I think I'm gonna go to the library and pick them up again, now that I think about it. You really need to finish them because they are really an excellent read.

I adored that series, but was disappointed by the "Acorna's Children" books that followed it. I do suppose that Anne McCaffrey is getting on in years, so that may have something to do with the decline in writing ability.
I am rather pleased with the work her son has added to the Pern series recently, so maybe he'll pick up on some of her other series.

Yeah, I love the Pern series as well and I definately will look into reading the rest! I just have been so busy with school!

I started have read up to the first "Acorna's Children" Novel and I agree, they are not as good as the main series!

I need to finish that series... but I've forgotten a lot about it so I might have to begin from the start since it's been so long from my last visit to Acorna's universe!
