I did this painting last night, my first time really using Acrilic paint on canvas ^_^ I'd like to know what you think of it. I'm a 4 year art student and in college. I mainly do cartoons but i can do most everything pretty well. I know i need work, i'm not in the mindset that i'm Da Vinci, at all lol

Please let me know what you have to think it will mean alot.

Did you use a point of reference? Because it seems to me that the shoulders are too wide for her body. Even if you're using the proportions of the cartoon itself, they aren't that wide. Try to keep them even with her hips/butt.

Now, I'm new to this guild, but I found a picture exactly like yours but in a different medium from a photobucket. Is yours really an original work? I found it by searching Harley Quinn in a Google Image search.

i did use that picture as a reference, but yes it's my painting i didn't just go on photobucket and steal someone elses, thats low.

Eh, while I think your brush strokes are pretty good, I have to say, that's almost a downright copy of the aforementioned image. Look over this article on referencing vs. copying.

I did not see you there.
