Evangelion. On its release day.
Unless you're European. You got it earlier.
ITT: Discuss buying CD's on their release day and/or how awesome Evangelion is.

I don't think I've ever bought a cd on its release day, ever.
And I haven't listened or heard of Evangelion, what do they play?

Warrior of Metal Most people think that. And Digital, its Behemoth's newest album!!! Oh, well. I'm not big on Behemoth, so that might explain why. The only ablum I liked by them was Demigod. However, I read an interview with Nergal and from his explaination it sounded like it would be some big epic album. I think if I were to buy it without listening to it first I'd be very disappointed at the results.

Ya know, I did read the entire pamphlet, the lyrics including the explanations. Normally I stay away from this kind of stuff, but I actually liked it because it was so philosophical. The anti-Religion isn't the same as other bands, its based on a lot of existentialism and I found it all kind of interesting. I don't agree with any of it, and there is a lot of flawed logic behind what he says in my opinion, but it was just what he wanted it to be: Thought Provoking.

Volvy Lol... I had to Google it... I thought you were talking about the anime lol This. Which is ironic, since I just bought the NGE Platinum boxed set a little over a month ago.
I'm in Digi's camp here--Behemoth has never really appealed to me, but the philosophical angle of the album seems interesting, at least.

Hmm, man I don't know. I mean if it's not just a tirade of slander then I may just listen to it. I haven't bought any new albums in awhile though. I really want to but...no money and the stuff I want to get I refuse to get for free. So I guess I'll go without. But I will listen to this Behemoth album with open ears so to speak.

Okay, I just listened to about 4.5 songs off the album. It's not as bad as I originally thought it was gonna be. The lyrics are dare I say, intelligent. I guess the album art is really what made me RAGEQUIT listening to them. But lyrically, it's not super slanderous. I mean so far, they've thrown some stuff out, but I see some Egyptian mythology and stuff in there. So, this is a really tough call. I wouldn't buy it probably, but listening to it on youtube has given me more insight on this album.
