It's "Sprechen sie Deutsch?" Sorry if my spelling is off. I thought German was easier to learn than Spanish. Keep a German dictionary on hand and never use an online translator for more than a word or 2 at a time. it doesn't make sense.

Yeah, now that i think about it that's what people say when i hear it. Thanks! Actually, 'sie' is 'you'. It's "Do you speak German?". If it was "Sie sprechen Deutsch?" then it would be "You speak German." and "Sprechen Deutsch" would be "Speak [the] German." Placement is very important. Questions are formed in German by inverting the subject and the verb.
For example: Sie geht nach Hause. Geht sie nach Hause?
(Yes, I know this is old. Just wanted to say it...)

I need a refresher course on German. I took two years in high school and two years of advanced German in college, but I don't remember as much as I'd like. sweatdrop

Hallo alle! Ich lerne seit etwa zwei Jahren Deutsch. Meine Schule hat einen Deutschunterricht, und ich bin Schülerin dabei. In diesem Sommer habe ich für zwei Wochen in Deutschland geblieben. Allerdings habe ich sehr wenig Deutsch gesprochen, weil mein Akzent so schwer zu verstehen ist. xd
Deutsch ist klasse, oder?
Translation: Hi everyone! I've been learning German for about two years. My school has a German class in which I'm a student. This summer, I stayed in Germany for two weeks. However, I spoke very little German because my accent is so hard to understand.
German is pretty cool, huh?
