On the first of the month, a user in the guild will be declared "Member of the Month." This title is to show our appreciation and give recognition to outstanding members of our little community. When a member is declared MotM, they will receive 25,000g and recognition on the front page of the guild.
Please note:
- All members, excluding moderators, are elligible to win (including regulars who are not actual members of the guild)
- The MotM will be picked by the moderators
- To be fair, a person cannot be picked as MotM twice in three months
A person who is picked as the Member of the Month is an exceptional member in the guild. He or she is someone who is helpful, friendly, and active and has the guild's best interests in mind.
Things we are looking out for when selecting the Member of the Month
Activity in the guild
Interesting or insightful posts and threads
Friendliness to new people
Bringing people to the guild (quality NOT quantity)
Offering help or "stepping up to the plate"
Demonstrating knowledge of the game
Participation in events/games

Member of the Month - August Tasuki_ForeverTasuki_Forever has been chosen as Member of the Month for August, 2009. She was chosen for her interesting and insightful posts around the guild, but also for donating her time to create z!CB badges. Dozens of people have them in their signatures and profiles, each one personalizied.

Member of the Month - September tkdauronXIIItkdauronXIII was picked as Member of the Month for September 2009 for several reasons. He has been a part of the zOMG! Chatterbox Guild since about the time it was born, and always seems to be around. Not only has he participated in many events, but he recently threw an absolutely AWESOME event where we hung around in Barton Town, dressed up as Barton Regulars. Thank you, TK!

Member of the Month - October Iwa_Clay_BirdsOctober's Member of the Month is Iwa_Clay_Birds! Iwa is an incredibly active (non)member of the guild. She's always posting all over the place and she's incredibly helpful. Whenever people need a crew, she often pops up to help them out. She's also volunteered her amazing art skills to the guild for contests and events. Thank you for being the best anthropomorphic skunk ever, Iwa!

Member of the Month - November ValheitaThis month's MotM is Valheita! Valheita is an awesome member and an awesome zOMGer. He has written multiple in-depth discussion threads and guides about zOMG, both in the zOMG forum and in this guild. He has contributed in countless ways - being active, being friendly, and providing great content to talk about and reply to. He was also the one who whipped up our current Rules/Introduction thread and new z!CB directory. Many thanks to our wizard of words and numbers!

Member of the Month - December Alternate Blaze!For putting together a guild-wide event that most of us had fun with (and others had fun watching), Alternate Blaze and her friends, Alternate Overseer and Alternate Sentinel get to be the MotM this time around! (And boy do I hope they're all one person as I type this).

Member of the Month - February Sikh-91It isn't always about the events, friends. Sometimes we just want to recognize someone who's been a good member. We had quite a few different people we wanted to recognize this month, but in the end we decided to give it to Sikh for just being a consistently active member of the community. 'grats Sikh!

(Belated) Member of the Month - March Jer0nim0We totally didn't drop the ball on this one and put it out a week late, no-sir, not at all. ninja Ahem - this month we decided to be late pick a member who was generally a good part of the community, and who had made us all laugh with crazy crack-paired artwork in the past. Member of the Month - April Mickey2146I'll be upfront here - there was a bit of a debate about who should be the MotM this month. Actually, it took us over a week to figure it out, but in the end we decided to go with Mickey! Mickey's a generally nice person who we've seen helping out with events, and helping out people in zOMG all the time, and that's worth recognizing. That being said - one moment here to also thank Tasn and Kam. We've seen you being generous, and it's also great things. It was really quite hard to decide this month, y'know? sweatdrop

Member of the Month - May Lady -Wizzard- KarrisWe had a hard time deciding this month once again. A lot of stuff was going on, ABs were coming out of the woodwork, people are posting lots and there were multiple events going back and forth. So we had to go with who wowed us the most - and that was the Mysterious AB, who turned out to be our very own Karris! The prom was just so much fun that this month had to go to her. Sorry everyone else, it was close, damn close! Karris, you're our MotM for the month of May.

Member of the Month - July RaxaWho's that dashing stranger in the night, that man in black who swoops in to stomp on n00bs and spammers? It's our favorite moddy man - RAXA! While he's not the most active fellow, whenever he does pop up you know it's going to be with something interesting(most recently with attempts to woo Kat (EDIT: TO NO AVAIL! scream ) and his dungeon contest). Keep up the interest, mr. man of mystery~

Member of the Month - August Carmella SweetAnnnnnnnnnnd the member of the month goes to Carmella (insert rest of name here)! What a great mystery it was on who had killed her, so great in fact, it shook the guild to the extent the VC had to be restrained! The plot was so thick you couldn't cut it with a spork!!1!!!SPORKKKKK!!1! We are awarding Carmella (insert rest of name here) the Motm due to her extremely well developed event! This was removed for a while by her request, but she recently said we could put it back.
