Looking at Zebaki, you might have a hard time realizing he was a rather young cheetah. It wasn't that he looked old, it was that he looked too serious more often than not. He wasn't smiling, but he wasn't frowning. He wasn't really doing anything that afternoon, wandering around the lands he now called home. He was quite content with his chosen path, he was learning fast and he was growing more and more attached as time went on. His only problem so far was.. well, being social. It was something he acknowledged he needed to work on but otherwise he wasn't too worried about it just yet. He wasn't a stranger wandering through, he was a cheetah in cheetah lands..
Everything was just fine.

It seemed as time passed, Chura became increasingly concerned about his position and the young, cheerful female became more excited. "Even though Chura is heir, can I help him out? I have lots of good ideas, mom!" Safiya whined before Aailyah dismissed her from the den, telling her to try her questions on Kolo.
Lowering her ears for only a moment, Safiya twisted up her face to rethink her plan. Perhaps she should find Kolo! He was there from the day the coalition began and always knew so much! Bounding forward excitedly, the small cheetah juvenile bumped clumsily into an adult male's leg. Looking up with an expression of guilt, Safiya stumbled to her feet. "Sorry! Mom always says I need to be careful!"

He just couldn't decide what he should do next, he was thinking about what business needed to be taken care of when he was very suddenly struck by a swift, pale blur. Zebaki was stunned and stumbled forward, and his expression reflected the surprise-- but it didn't turn to a reassuring smile, an amused laugh or any expression of anger. He frowned, but it wasn't malicious. He recognized her, though vaguely. Perhaps he'd seen her before, it was very likely in group lands. Her eyes also gave her away.
"Pardon me," he said, stepping back a bit and out of the way, not really saying much else. He didn't want to be impolite, and she seemed sincere in her apology, "No harm done."

Safiya was glad to hear that she hadn't upset him, but something about the way he sidled off and avoided conversation peeked her curiosity. Safiya had bumped into various members of the coalition and believed she had a positive relationship with most. As new cheetahs were welcomed into the lands, she found more she didn't recognize, but she always made an effort to introduce herself and lend a helping paw if they needed it. She was young, somewhat frustrating sometimes, but generally a compassionate cub.
Looking off towards the direction of Kolo and the potential answers to her questions, Safiya hesitated for only a moment. They can be answered later! She thought to herself. Turning and following after Zebaki, Safiya beamed. "I'm glad you're not upset. I really should try and be more careful," she started, making it to his side and looking up at him curiously. She tried to look him over for some sign of...anything. Even the closest of her friends would have been annoyed or amused by that scenario. "Sooo, what are you doing today?"
