Toward the center of the Village Hidden in the Mist is a large building, but not to large, where the Mizukage works.
The building looks like a modern day Chinese dojo. It has a very square frame.
Rumors are that the mist is a corrupt nation.

A rather gaunt old woman with thin glasses stood up from a seat against the wall of the waiting room, a scowl pushing her thin lips into an ugly expression,
"You the genin we called for? You're late! We expect promptness! How can we rely on someone who doesn't even bother to show up until the last minuet! I can't believe the Mi-" She started to rant standing up and chastising the genin in an aggressive manor before one of the attendants interrupted her,
"Pardon me Majo-sama but this is not the genin we assigned to your mission. I just got back from visiting the one who was. He found himself a way to get injured... poor kid. Looked like he was jumped and beaten senseless." Spoke a quiet mousy attendant with a brown ponytail and blue jounin vest.
The scowling old lady stopped berating Watatsumi long enough for her to speak but then set in upon her,
"Then I DEMAND you give us a replacement RIGHT NOW. The Youji-Domo MUST be in Catfish Village in two days!!!!"

Both women were glaring at each other intently, you could almost taste the tension in the air it was so thick.
In unison they both turned and placed their faces dramatically closed to his,
"He's to young." The old woman said.
"He's perfect! One of our best genin I assure you." The attendant countered.
They pulled their faces back at the same time and returned to glaring at each other,
"He'll do fine I promise." The Kage' attendant said,
"We want a REAL ninja. Not some kid." The old hag said a vein popping out on her head.
"He IS a real ninja."
"I want half price."
"You'll pay full."
"3/4th"
"Deal!"
"Fine"
They shook each others hand extremely hard while mockigly giving each other smiles.
Finally the attendant gave Watasumi a pleasant smile.
"You should be fine with the standard tools. All you have to do is deliver this fine lady and her young ward to Catfish Village. It's just about a day's walk from the village's northern gate if you take the road. The boy's parents are wealthy so they wanted a guard. I don't expect much trouble, but I would be watchful."

"That's the hope. This will be a D-Ranked escort mission and it shouldn't trouble to much I hope. I appreciate you taking this mission on such short notice." She appoligised bowing slightly in reverence.
She placed a small folder on the table. It contained the file with relevant data and a small map that would guide him to the village. The path looked clear, it was a major road and merchants traveled it all the time.
A small child peaked his head from behind the old woman's skirt who was still mulling over her bad fortune.
"We are ready to leave now! I don't want to wait any further or I will go find the lowest bidder and go home without the protection offered by the Hidden Mist Village!" She yelled.

The old woman scoffed, "Took you long enough. Now lets go. If we get so much as a scratch! I will REFUSE to pay!" She demanded with thunderous disdain creeping into her voice.
Promptly she turned on her heels and left rather quickly with her nose held high regarding the genin as little more than a guard dog.

"Uh...Mizu...kage?"
HE stares at the two old woman.
"Uhhh what? someone please explain what the hells going on, wheres the Mizukage?"

"The Mizukage is not feeling well right now. I am his go between for the moment. Is there something I can help you with Jamal?"

HE said trying not to stare.
"Theres many things you could help ME with hehe."
HE says qiuetly.
"Um...anyway! so uh, i havent heard from my team for awhile, im bored with nothing to do and no friends to train with....."
HE thought for a moment.
"Perhaps you help me."
HE said smiling

"We'd almost written you off as dead... the old lady refused to pay." The same attendant from before said, "Complained 'bout a whole lot of things. Finally the Kage just decided to give her the mission for free... turns out she didn't have any money anyway. She was just acting like it." She said tossing a folder labeled, Watatsumi's Complains. It was about as thick as a grade school text book and listed every frivolous complaint from
"Talking to loud" to things like "inappropriate personal hygiene".
"But... there is one serious concern we have Watatsumi-kun... she made the allegation that you were sidling with a Rain Ninja. After the mission we received reports of your activity in Rain..." She said suddenly serious, "These are serious charges... do you think they hold any truth to them? If I were you I would tell us now because we will find out the truth. It would appear better if you disclosed it yourself." She explained rather level-headedly.
