 The current kazekage's office appears completely normal upon first inspection. It is round, like those of many other kage and papers are strewn about carelessly on the large desk. The bookshelf in the corner appears to be getting very little use as well. However, looking closer, the houseplant next to the window overlooking the village appears to have been... chewed on?

Fauhllehn walks to the Kazekage's door quietly. She paused and took a deep breath then proceeded to knock on the door waiting an answer.

Erkamina sighed as she came back to the Kazekage Mansion after a long bout of maternal worrying over nothing and keeping her home for no reason and a two week hell of a cold after that. She just now felt well enough to take a mission after her team had mysteriously bailed out on their last one. Now she wanted to take her own mission and succeed to prove that she was strong without the assistance of her team. She was never able to figure out which one of them was the genius in jutsu and which was the willful courage but that didn't matter. She had spent the time 'under the weather' studying what justu she may read about and perusing the scrolls she'd collected about Earth Style ninjutsu, the style she always assumed she'd be gifted with for some reason. She wasn't sure why she always chose Earth as her own nature even though she knew very little about chakra natures other than the five elements behind them. Each element had different strengths and weaknesses as each person that wielded them. She sighed again as the sand wiped itself in small circles because of the wind's influence. Wind was strongest here and Earth the weakest because Earth was easily moved at the simplest blow of the wind. But she was always willing to be different than the status quo. And that made her happy. Or at least as close to 'happy' as a shinobi could ever truly be. She walked into the building and saw a girl standing at the Kazekage's door. "Hello there, are you here to take a mission too?"

Fauhllehn turned to the girl, "I'll just do what the kazekage tells me to, if its a mission or not. I became a chunin at the exams and I need to know my new orders. If I teach the kids or if I help the squads." She looked to the door, "Maybe no one is here."

Out of the room came a blonde, smiling and giggling to herself as she exited the Kazekage's office. It was none other than his wife, Ruka Ikimi, now in a better, fresher mood as she left her husband's room, unacknowledging the two. The Kazekage then leaned against the door and giggled to himself, giving his wife a kiss on the cheek and a firm slap to the behind, "Catch ya later! RAWR!" he chuckled, making kissy-faces with her as she waved her index finger at him.
"Ahhhh..." he sighed, before noticing the two, "Oh! Oh it's you two... SOOOOO!! What brings you here? How's the cold, Erki?" he smiled, moving out of the way so they could enter.Kazekage Theme

Fauhllehn rolled her eyes at the Kazekage's behavior. She knew this was how he acted, for she lived with him. "Well I'm here to know my new assignments since I am a chunin now." She smiled and seemed proud.

"I'm so happy 'cause I'm the Kazekage, KAZEKAGE~!" sang Sazoru, spinning around in his seat as he sat down.
... Until his mind snapped back to reality.
"Oh, oh, right... OH JOYOUS DAY! CONGRADULATIONS MY LITTLE FAUH!" cried Sazoru, hugging Fauh in a great bear hug as he laughed, sniffing, "You're growing up so fast... Oh, well, back to business," said he, setting her down as he looked over his papers, "Lets see... Where did I...? Oh! Right! Here...!" he said, getting out a paper stamped well over 19 times, "Well, I ment to give this to Erki and her team, but I think you deserve it more. Erki? Would you like to help Miss Fauh with this mission? It'd help alot if you did," said the Kazekage with a smirk, waving the paper around.Kazekage Theme

"Erki? I don't like that nickname. Erkamina is my name and it sounds weird for you to shorten it. By the way, the cold finally went away a few days ago and I am now feeling up to missions, sir." Erkamina sighed lightly and put a hand to her hip in a slightly defiant motion, swaying with the attitude she had spoken with. But she then nodded and smiled at Fauhllehn and the Kazekage. "I will join her because I can't locate my team. I assume they ran off on another mission without me, the little bastards- excuse my language sir." She corrected herself with a formal tone in hopes that a reprimand would not come her way for her abrupt usage of language and earlier attitude, even if teasing. So the girl was a Chuunin, a superior to her but not yet a true captain. Just experienced enough to be a good role model for Erkamina. "I'm sure I can be of great help now that I'm at full heath again. My mother was such a worry-wart too, sir." She laughed lightly at her own slight complaining, even if she was joking about it it was still slightly inappropriate but she wasn't phased by it as much as she would have been two months ago. Desperation for a successful mission now drove her out of her shy nature.

Sazoru giggled and stuck his tongue out, "Erki-channn~!" he teased, unacknowledging the girl's attitude towards him. He didn't mean to treat her like such a child, but he couldn't help it! He was one himself.
"Nonsense," said the Kazekage with a smile, scratching the stubble starting to grow under his chin, "You should know I'm not as formal as the rest of the kages in the world. But, I do expect respect, missy," said Sazoru with a smile. Though firm, steely eyes suggested he really was serious, despite his goofy grin.
"That's good to hear. Now," said Sazoru, "There's... been some mishap in the forest outside the village... I believe you are familiar with this mission, Erkamina? If you don't mind me briefing it again for Fauh-chan," said he, reading the paper over.Kazekage Theme

Fauhllehn clawed her way out of the bear hug. It was true she was living at his house and he almost treated her as a daughter, well she thought anyways. He did have kids but she felt like one of them. But she didn't want to impose so she kept herself at a safe distance not to hurt herself.
Nodding her head she awaited the orders and looked at Erkamina. Fauh didn't know her, never seen her before either, and didn't know how it would work.
"Sir, I'm sorry but I remember last time you gave me a partner he was perverse, rude, perverse, arogant, perverse, and almost killed us because of his stupid childish ego.... DID I MENCHION PERVERSE??? Its just, no offence Erkamina, but shouldn't I train or at least get to know Erkamina before I go off on some random mission with her. With all due respect Kazekage, I just dont want to screw up the mission because I dont know my allies." She felt bad and hoped shed didn't hurt Erkamina's feelings, but previous missions made her think twice on who's in her group.

Erkamina grumbled softly before replying to Fauhllehn. "I'm not a male first of all so you don't have the pervishness. Secondly, I don't know you either but if it's the Kazekage's orders he knows that the mission is of utmost importance." She cocked her head lightly and looked at the Kage before looking back to the girl. "Do you think I'd be a bad partner to you or something? Just because I'm a genin and you are chunnin doesn't mean that we cannot work as equals towards a common goal. After all, we must figure out what has been going on in the forest before it escalates to full blown war between ourselves and the trouble makers that have kidnapped villagers. Who knows what kind of trap they could have planned. It's best that we work as a team, even if we don't know each other well miss... Um..." Erkamina stopped as she realized that she didn't know the other girl's name much less what to call her. Fauh? Was it short for something or did she prefer it? Erkamina sighed lightly and put a hand to her hip with a slight attitude "you may not know me and I may not know you but I'm sure we can get along well enough to be successful, if we work hard enough at it."

Fauh laughed, "Wow an attitude, well if little miss Erki is up for the challenge I guess I cant say no." Smiling she awaited the orders. The whole kidnapping must have started while she was at the exams cause this was the first time she heard of anything.
"Oh and after this mission I would like some time off to train, I have been doing mission after mission and then the exams. Its time for me to train or I wont get anywhere." She smiled cute-like, hopefully the kazekage would give in to her charm.

Sazoru smiled and giggled, "You know I can't say no to that face~!" mused the Kazekage, brushing her hair the way a father would.
"I can understand that you'd feel this way. Not to worry. Spend some time with each other, train a bit, and then come back and tell me how you two feel about working together. Either way, this can all be settled peacefully and rationally without so much as a fuss. And Erkamina? Watch your temper, puh-lease?"
He himself, the childish, goofy, ever-smiling fool was once a cruel, and brutal b*****d that cared for no one else but himself. During his years as a genin, it was all about survival. Survival of the fittest. He didn't give a s**t about his teammates. It was all about him, just looking out for number one. And yet, what killed him was... that no matter how much Ruka loved him, no matter how much she had risked trying to protect him...
He still treated her all the same until he had got out of the Stones village.
He then yawned and scratched his hair, "Oh, and by the by, please see if there are any other genin lurking about here. I'm getting tired of them avoiding me everytime I have a new mission."Kazekage theme (FINALLY FOUND ONE!)

"Something... not 'human' is out there. Some say it to be enemy forces of the Tengu, others say it to be a monster," explained Sazoru, resting a hand underneath his chin, "... It's been eating our jonin. Mostly, the women. I'm beginning to think this is a demon, not a monster, but no less something that's been there. I wouldn't recommend this mission for the likes of you, be as it is you are my pride and joy, but it's been bothering me for quite some time. And I don't like it," said Sazoru, his smile fading, "All I want you to do is scout out the area, find whatever it is that's been causing so much casualty, and report back. If necessary, you may fight back, but avoid this at all costs. I just want you to tell me what you found," the Kazekage spoke, his voice deep and grave, before lighting back up to his usual upbeat, happy-go-lucky tone, "Got it? Just come back.
