sorry if this is a repeat thread.
Creams are full of chemicals, and like shaving involve a lot of waste (replacing blades). Waxing can be costly and what is in the waxes they use anyway?
Lately I've been considering lazor hair removal. Now I'm really hesitant, because. Well everything is safe until they discover it's NOT. Like smoking, and tanning beds. However, I'm sick and tired of being self conscious about unwanted body hair. I have pale skin and thick black hair. My legs, not bad on upper leg but still don't want to wear shorts because im self conscious, bikini line is really bad, I have a line down my stomach which isn't noticeable except from the belly button down. My arm pits which are such a pain to shave, a small patch in between my breasts and my arms.
Currently I shave lower legs, wax bikini and pluck tummy. The rest I don't touch but worry about all the time. I was thinking of doing lazor to bikini, tummy and armpits. In that order. Which would be costly enough. Then maybe when I have more money, do the upper legs and arms.
How do you deal with your unwanted hair?

I don't know much about it, but I'd probably be wondering about its safety too if I were considering it. I'd probably be looking for reviews from people who have had it if I were you.
I just leave my hair alone though. I find it really offensive that women are expected to remove hair from their legs and underarms while guys are free to do as they please. confused

Sakakikala @lorienLlewellyn guys cant do as they please, they have females who make them shave their faces! XD lol. What I mean is that both shaving the face or having a beard are socially acceptable. Many men have stubble, a full beard, or something in between (including my partner). They're not stared at in stores or anything unless their beard is down to their knees. But a woman who doesn't shave her legs does get funny looks when she wears shorts because that isn't as socially acceptable. That's where my problem with the sexism lies.

I've done the lazor hair removal, (I had some nasty stray hairs under my chin) and I would do it again to other body parts if I had the money. I don't know if there are any negative side affects though.
I just shave my legs, under my arms, and the bikini area. I get my upper lip waxed once a month a well, I will be getting that lazored off some time in the future though.

It's freaking stupid! I never wear shorts and I hate having armpit hair in general but its still stupid that people belive we should have to shave them. we should move to germany. xp

Am I the only one with a boyfriend that shaves off most of his bodily hair? =P
Have you tried sugaring? It's like waxing except it's made out of sugar and you can make your own mixes and use cloth strips to take the sugar off, which means the strips may be reusable if you wash the sugar and hair off. I've been meaning to try it because shaving takes too long.
