At the moment, it's the second, but probably only because I've heard the first a few hundred times and the second maybe only a couple dozen.

dudes. ive been listening to metallica for YEARS. and i tell u now. Unforgiven II is the best of em all.
1st. is bout how he was treatd bad as a kid and that he wont be treatd like that ever again
2nd. is about some girl that he loved but she left him but she will always hold the "key" to his heart.
3rd. was bout how he was messing things up around the time of "Some Kind of Monster".
all in all, II is tha best of em all

for me its the The Unforgiven II, but The Unforgiven is just as good, maybe even better no one voted for The Unforgiven III confused its not bad, its just not the best one

In regards to no one voting for the third one, I have to say that after the first two, the third falls a little flat...it just doesn't do anything for me...

The Unforgiven II, it sounds so much stronger than the other 2, and the music video for it is so... weird but cool.
